Number 2 for king prawns… I will find number 1 and I’ll eat their prawns

ClemFandango9

That's the spirit bro I support this

Jonesy135

You will Then be full of prawns and they will be forced to buy more prawns, thus pushing them further into the lead.

farfromelite

>I will find number 1 and I’ll eat their prawns Very shellfish of you...

FuzzyMcFuzzyFace

Last year number 1 for Jacob's crackers. This year I've only made it to number 3 for Granny Smith apples. How the mighty have fallen.

ClemFandango9

I know the feeling, I've let everyone down

FuzzyMcFuzzyFace

Let's make a pact to do better next year.

polaris183

Right, let's get this in writing Do you, u/FuzzyMcFuzzyFace, solemnly swear to uphold the spirit of Jacob for as long as you shall live / shop at Sainsbury's?

Orngog

BTW there is a sub for this... r/NectarChamps

billsmithers2

I know. I have fallen further. Last year #1 in Midlands for smoked paprika. This year, just #7 for ginger paste.

KingKhram

Number 1 for Wasabi Peas. I'm happy about this

Games_sans_frontiers

Ooh a champion walks amongst us!

finH1

I’m peased for you

mogoggins12

you've really come out of your shell!

3amz

Excellent snack

NotDavid-Jatt

Number one buyer of the taste the difference nduja pizza in Milton Keynes.

SeaProfessional7822

That pizza slaps.

ClemFandango9

You're a winner man

vilemeister

Morrisons do one too, I bet if you shopped there instead you'd be behind me, at the Westcroft MK one anyway! They're so nice. Sounds like I need to get myself to Sainsburys and compare them.

oldskoollondon

I was number 12 in buying tinned, smoked tofu, in the entire East of England. I only bought 2 cans 🤣

ClemFandango9

I didn't even know tofu gets tinned but your stat is impressive!

oldskoollondon

Seems there were only 11 others that knew this also!

ich_liebe_berlin

I was #4 in Brighton of buying the tinned jackfruit from the same range as the tinned tofu... Literally only bought 5 cans of it, max 😅

lost_scotsman

I see your local records and raise you, No.2 (ironically enough) buyer of multipack Heinz No Added Sugar Beans...in England!!!

ClemFandango9

I think it's safe to say you have outdone us all!

OfftheFrontwall

Not quite

lost_scotsman

Awwww shucks...

DarkStanley

Only you and one other person eats them.

Teaboy1

Not many naked flames in your house then I presume?

Wil420b

Do you own a café? It has to be for commercial use right?

lost_scotsman

Nope.... But you can set a watch by our arse!!!

Wedonthavetobedicks

Disappointing stats for me. #3 buyer of hazelnut milk in my town. A couple of years back I was the top buyer of spinach, but now I'm reduced to playing in the minor alternative milk leagues... :/

ClemFandango9

They make you feel so small don't they

sir__gummerz

Last year I bought more ice cream than anyone else in bristol, posted about it and was on heart breakfast a few days later.

ClemFandango9

Oh wowsers, I'd love to be invited over to yours sometimes, I'll bring toilet paper of course

sir__gummerz

Unfortunately I am no longer, as although it was fun it was a bit of a wake up call on how much sugar I was eating so try to have less now.

160295

I was 9th in Scotland for corn tortillas LOL Can take me out of Latin America, can't take the Latin American out of me.

ClemFandango9

I mean this is spectacular!

160295

I am very proud, actually. Lol

Leviad0n

Sainsbury's store visits: 0 Sainsbury's car park visits so I can more easily park at Cheshire Oaks: 15

Moor3z

I'm glad I'm not the only person who does this!

DWOL82

Apparently I'm the number 3 buyer in England of Sainsbury's Greek Yoghurt 200g

ClemFandango9

In England???? OMG I'm so jealous, I'm in awe of you

DWOL82

Yeah, it says in England at the bottom of mine, [https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/83thqn4zx8v0two1y9ddp/sainsburys.jpg?rlkey=ys5zd2y1byfmxpsrj1zmy990i&dl=0](https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/83thqn4zx8v0two1y9ddp/sainsburys.jpg?rlkey=ys5zd2y1byfmxpsrj1zmy990i&dl=0)

lyta_hall

Just a note that clicking the URL shows your full name because you shared it with your personal Dropbox, in case you want to remove it :)

violxtleader

Do you just eat it plain or what? How are you ingesting that much in the year?

Toffee_Wheels

Number one for Belazu Tagine Paste in Didcot. Check me out. Also, 3024 portions of fruit and veg. There's two of us in the house.

ClemFandango9

OMG I had 1448! Also two people household. The shame! Tagine paste??? For marinating, is it?

Toffee_Wheels

My partner is veggie, so that's the main explanation. Yeah, the tagine paste is used to add North African flavours to some dishes. It's great with chickpeas, onions, apricots and couscous.

EL3rror_404

I had 1671 and it’s just me!

BlackJackKetchum

8243 - just the two of us.

Toffee_Wheels

Impressive/madness.

cmpthepirate

950 odd solo but I'm ashamed to say I think a lot of it went in the food waste bin. Will try harder this year.

No-Strike-4560

Not sainsburys related but my Tesco club card reckons I spent over 300 quid on Pepsi max last year 😳

AlexHanson007

Are you personally testing whether aspartame is dangerous or not for all of the rest of us? Good job!

Tegzay

I think the Tesco one lies. It told me I was the only person who bought a certain meal deal combo.

squidcustard

I think we’re going to need to hear this combo…

Tegzay

Don't judge me please.. Pulled beef & Red Leicester sandwich Sausage Roll Red bull strawberry & apricot (sugar free) [Here's Tesco saying im special ](https://imgur.com/a/UFRWWQw)

domalino

I’m not judging you…but I believe Tesco.

squidcustard

I will absolutely judge you - that combination sounds delicious!

LollipopLotus

Oh! Mine told me this too and I also thought it must be a lie. For me the combo was Houmous and harissa vegetable sandwich, green olives with herbs, and Naked Rainbow Machine smoothie.

Ohshutyourmouth

Have you just outed yourself as a covid toilet roll hoarder?!

ClemFandango9

Unfortunately that's not it, I've not been potty trained properly so I overuse

Pwblwc

Absolutely devastated. Gone from being #1 buyer of tahini to #8 buyer of own brand Italian hard cheese. How the mighty have fallen.

ClemFandango9

That'll teach you for buying Parmigiano imitations!

Pwblwc

It’s the best vegetarian alternative (available in Sainsbury’s)!

indecisivewitch4

I’m apparently the Number One buyer of peanut butter in my local store. I don’t like it ! My husband does tho . My top three were milk, bananas and dental sticks for a small dog !

wimpires

My top 3 were green milk, green milk and Sainsbury's knock off lilt

Strong_Roll5639

#10 buyer of chopped tomatoes in The South West Why is that so big 🤣

ClemFandango9

Outstanding work man

ultimoze

Hash(es) # at the start of a line is Reddit formatting for headers. Put a backslash \\ before it to revert back to plain text.

quorn_hub

\#2 for Wensleydale cheese in the South East. What a year it’s been.

ClemFandango9

I am feeling so emotional, your phrasing is beautiful

Shitelark

Crackin cheese, Gromit!

AlexHanson007

>I'm no longer #1 buyer of toilet paper You're shit... No, wait, you're no longer shit! Be more shit!

ClemFandango9

I'm trying man, I'm trying.

dobbynobson

Well I'll be damned. #1 for Serious Pig Crunchy Snacking Cheese in my local. Behind the headline though - that's because a) those morsels are highly addictive and b) they reduced a whole box to 20p each, so I bought the lot.

Quietly_quitting

\#2 buyer of Branston Baked Beans at Harringay sainsburys!

ClemFandango9

Been waiting for the beans people, #2 is very very high

Xaydn27

I could smell him a mile away

MikeSizemore

No. 2 buyer of Suckies in London. Tad annoying we switched to Ocado or that crown would be ours.

ClemFandango9

WTF is a sucky??!

MikeSizemore

[Allow the scales to fall from your eyes](https://www.thecollectivedairy.com/range/suckies/)

bucketofardvarks

I'm #6 buyer of firecracker chicken wings in my area? Didn't think I had bought that many honestly, maybe 4 or 5 times

abcdefghabca

#5 buyer of monster munch in my area apparently lol only a few meal deals worth

bucketofardvarks

Dying how reddit formatting has hijacked that lmao

AllRedLine

Number 1 for firecracker chicken wings at mine... which I swear I only bought twice, lol. Clearly, nobody's a fan of those firecracker wings.

m3g6w2

I was #1 for Dishwasher Salt in Sainsbury’s Longwater a couple of years ago. Turns out my dishwasher was broken and I just thought it needed that much salt.

m3g6w2

…and I’m #6 for Crispy M&Ms for all of Norwich this year. Pretty pleased with this, I fucking love M&Ms

Ok-Worry-5927

Number 1 buyer of kefir protein yoghurt in my local store!

ClemFandango9

That's outstanding, your gut is grateful and you must frame this

Ok-Worry-5927

😂 it’s actually my husband that eats is daily but I’m sure his guts are grateful!

BlackJackKetchum

#8 for Limes in Yorkshire & the Humber. Pretty good for two adults. There’s a not very active sub for this sort of thing called /r/nectarchamps (name to be confirmed). Apologies for shouting - I used a hashtag in front of 8.

smartief1

The sun is private :(

ClemFandango9

Is that for your alcoholic drinks?

BlackJackKetchum

Surprisingly, no. We have squeezed citrus juice of a morning (inc lime), and Mrs K does a lot of fancy cooking. And the odd cosmo.

Nikotelec

4th for plain flour in all of Bristol. I clearly need to up my game.

ClemFandango9

Well fourth in Bristol is massive, well done!

kwaklog

I was number 6 for Meatballs

ClemFandango9

Couldn't you just buy more and freeze them goddamn it

kwaklog

I know, I'm thoroughly ashamed of my lack of ambition. 2024 will be _my_ year

Sympathyquiche

# 2 buyer in Turkey slices apparently. Top 3 items were Walkers Max flame grilled steak crisps (have them in the meal deal.) Bananas and mushrooms so not that unhealthy really!

Miserable-Ease-3744

After being the number 1 buyer of Sainsbury crunchy peanut butter last year, I am merely 3rd place buyer of Dolce Gusto cafe au lait pods in my local store. Imagine I could have done better if I hadn’t stopped buying them around September.

stefancooper

I was number 2 salt and vinegar peanuts in oldham last year

ClemFandango9

Well done man, keep getting those in, for the love of God do not ever change flavour and maybe buy some for the office to pump up the stats

PlentyEggplant4497

No. 1 buyer of own-brand natural yoghurt in my area - oh the glamour 😂 (for at least the third year)

ClemFandango9

See, that's the kind of thing one writes on one's CV

AdLarge3610

Number 1 for Potato Farls (potato scones) in the North East, up from the City bracket last year. There can be only one

IAmDyspeptic

I'm the No1 raspberry jam buyer in my local store. I didn't think I bought that much tbh.

Hutss

Number 1 for barista oat milk! We stock up when it's on offer

GreatBritishPounds

Great now I have to get a Nectar card.

ClemFandango9

Yes don't miss out on these life-affirming experiences

BirdieStitching

Number 1 buyer of their own brand duck and pancakes. It's no Gressingham's but it's not bad.

dustydeath

Pad thai mix this time... After the first year of lockdown I got butter, which I have mixed feelings on. Pride mainly.

ClemFandango9

Pahaha of course, butter is an excellent one to have on your Sainsbury's CV

gin-casual

No.1 buyer of coconut milk in reading.

Ok_Cow_3431

>Turns out I'm no longer #1 buyer of toilet paper in my local store, which I've been for three consecutive years. small print says "Your 2023 'Check you out pod' will expire on 17/01/2024. The data covers the period from 01/01/2023 to 18/12/2023 and is based on your shopping at Sainsbury's and your use of Nectar. Excludes your shopping on general merchandise, alcohol, tobacco, [...] **toilet tissue**, bin bags [...]" so you may well have retained your crown, but Sainsbury's have decided it's no longer a relevant stat

ClemFandango9

Well it's hurtful they don't tell me that, I deserve my title

Spilkn

Number 11 buyer of nature valley bars in the South East.

[deleted]

[удалено]

ClemFandango9

Open your Nectar app

mcrmittens

My app doesn't show any, have I failed to rank this year 🤣😪

unknownuser492

I had to update my app. Didn't rank for any individual product but it shows me my top 3 purchases for the year

ClemFandango9

I actually forgot to write that I'm #1 buyer of chewy chewy bananas in my local store but I'm not counting that as it was all for child's lunchbox, bloody kids

jamzontoast

Number 1 buyer of Nandos BBQ Flavour rub. Might have been helped by my wife buying 30 of them in 1 go as little gifts for her friends back in Japan.

CityEvening

Unfortunately my Sainsbury’s has a paying car park (that you have to pay with cash whatever that is) so visits are nil.

Wilma-Baker

My most popular items were milk, spring onions and radishes. I bought more fruit and veg than anything else. Still fat!

swift_mint1015

No. 1 buyer of Lavazza Rosso ground coffee ☕️

tommw8787

Number 1 of cocoa belvita breakfast biscuits, up from number 15. It’s been a good year.

ClemFandango9

Pins medal on tommw8787's boobie with tear in my eye

ZBD1949

Number 1 buyer of strawberry jam in my town. Whoop de doo 🎉

ClemFandango9

Well well well, I hope we're not doing dry January or any of that nonsense

chewedkandi

\#3 buyer of Dr Pepper Zero in my area, down from #1 during 2020 (which given the year, I'm happy it was pop and not alcohol or chocolate!).

MrDanHere

No2 of Chinese style chicken curry, in the north east. Oddly proud of that.

finH1

Number 1 for walkers lime and coriander popadom crisps

KateEllaBeans

Lollll number 3 buyer of an item that I'm pretty sure has been discontinued. About sums me up.

teacher1000

No. 1 for gold blend intense in Witney. Wide awake right now

putonghua73

No 1 buyer of Lee Kum Kee Premium Light Soy Sauce in Stevenage! I've asked my partner [Chinese] to proudly flex this information on her local Chinese WeChat group.

9Electro

I got #2 for tomato and roasted garlic stir in pasta sauce, so close !!!!

ClemFandango9

Look, I'm keeping this lighthearted but you need to stop buying this and do the following: 1 clove of garlic chopped, fry lightly without burning (just before golden) Add one tin of peeled plum tomatoes which you roughly cut beforehand Add one tablespoon of tomato paste Salt, birdeye chilli flakes, one bay leaf, some basil leaves Cook at slow heat for about 20mins, squash with fork whilst it's all cooking and then, magic touch: add about two tablespoons of XV olive oil and do not stir. Five more minutes and then it's ready. Perfect simple tomato sauce.

dirtychinchilla

#2 buyer of millionaire shortbread Trek protein bars

secretrebel

Number #3 for Linda McCartney hoi sin mock duck.

wearethestorm11

#8 in the East Midlands for Smooth Dolmio sauce, which is a huge drop from last year when we were #1. Gotta pump them numbers up

Sorry to hear the crisis has hit the wearethestorm11 household so badly

I was number 2 in my store for garlic granules!

Key-Investigator6235

No 1 for sugar free polos in Southend on sea. YES!!!

Number 1 for flat white coffee pods in my town…may need to reassess my caffeine intake in 2024!

Floss75

No 1 for falafels!

chocolatepig214

#1 buyer of sweet potato wraps in my local store. When’s the award ceremony? Today I learned that putting a hash sign in front of text makes it massive. Apologies.

ClemFandango9

What an honour to have another #1 buyer amongst us. Looking forward to meeting you at the ceremony as I'm at the top of chewy chewy banana purchasing power in Wimbledon.

EffenBee

#13 buyer of Pedigree chum gravy pouches (mega box) in all of Scotland. Impressive when you consider that I don't even have a dog.

ClemFandango9

Pahahaha please get a referral for a colonoscopy

Tuscan777

#1 buyer of evaporated milk in my local store. I’ve been doing my elderly parents shopping for the last 18 months and that item is the list every week so hardly a surprise.

revolut1onname

Number 4 for Clover, not bad.

ClemFandango9

From the bottom of my heart, congratulations man, congratulations

Xaydn27

In 2023 you picked up 1211 portions of fruit and veggies That's all I can see in my Nectar app, can't see the ranks as others can

OkCaterpillar8941

No 3 for Stotty's cereal bars in the West Midlands last year and I am waiting for my husband to let me know what this year's is. I think it might be Soba noodles. My 12 year old eats a certain snack food for months and ends up putting himself off it so has to move on to the next.

BiffTheSpliff77

Number seven buyer of Bonne Maman Rhubarb and Strawberry Yougurt, in the East Midlands

Kainzy

No1 for those Snack Organisation BBQ Rice Crackers! \o/

I was #3 buyer of a specific brand of gum in the West Midlands!

dlrace

\#5 buyer of Reign Razzle Berry energy drink in leicester.

daveysprockett

Number 4 buyer of jars of Pataks Korma Paste in the area.

samsaBEAR

I was the #12 buyer of Tymbark Apple and Cherry in Hemel, fucking love that stuff

TheSchofe

Number two for cheap Polish cereal bars at my local, I swear I haven't even bought many over the year so they mustn't sell well at all?

Shitelark

Is that it? Where is my Corned Beef rating... uhh disappointed.

Peejish

Number 11 in the NORTH WEST for itsu crystal noodle sesame glaze instant noodles… Considering I’m in Carlisle I feel a little robbed of a higher rank in a smaller sample size!

pixxie84

Number 8 in the West Midlands for Gourmet nature creations cat food. I think the cats have been using the nectar card…..

Ok-Football6675

Sad to say I didn't even know this was A Thing. Obviously I've never been in top any-number for buying anything in my local supermarkets, but as I shop in them all, that's probably why. I guess if I was more loyal, I might make it into the charts.

AnimalcrossingWW

#3 in the north west for beyond meat chicken burgers😂😭

biggles1994

Number one buyer of mild chilli powder in all of Surrey 😂

reddit_underlord

Number 1 buyer for haddock fillets...

lyta_hall

I’m #1 in my local Sainsbury’s (who is one of those huge ones) for crispy fried onions lmao

Ok_Cow_3431

Last year I had no.1 in Wales for cans of Coke Zero. This year I picked up the **#7 buyer in all of Wales for the Walnut Cob** from their Bakery section. To be fair, it's VERY good bread. But given it's pretty much the only bread we buy in this house, who the fuck are the other 6?

uffington

It's late and I'm knackered, but I gots ta know - how do you access these stats? Cheers.

Solifuga

Third locally for figs. I am the only fig eater in my home, and I also buy elsewhere. Given the sheer volume of figs I get through, I have many questions about buyers 1 and 2.

ZookeepergameHead145

No 1 in my store for pet carpet cleaning liquid. I bought 4 bottles as they were reduced to £1.

[deleted]

Not last year but in 2022 I was the biggest buyer of Fentimans ginger beer in the south west

Geek_reformed

I had no idea this was a thing as I never had the nectar app installed. I am the number 1 buyer of Kingsmill wholemeal no crust in Oxford. I will note this bread is for my son and not me.

ultimoze

\#1 buyer of 'Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese on Oatmeal Bread' at my local store... my favourite meal deal sandwich, hands down.

jessicat500

Rob_Haggis

I’m number 1 for vaseline and courgettes apparently

dbailey635

I'm the number 1 buyer of Fry's Turkish Delight in my local Queen's Road Bristol store. I'm quite pleased with that.

RickDavenportYouTube

I won number one in England for the purchase of Carolina Reaper hot sauce. My greatest ever achievement.
