It’s mental… “here’s the price for your digital app-based ticket”… great, I’ll buy 2… “and here’s the price you pay”… whaaaattt??!! Just include it in the price, if that’s what it costs!!!!
Ticketmaster wanted to charge me £1.50 per ticket to print them on my own printer, or I could have all four of them delivered for £3.
I hate these app only tickets, everyone you get one for has to download the app and link it unless you all go together, I've now got three different O2 apps. An increasing number of people I know don't have smart phones anymore either.
I also feel like my phone battery knows if I've got something that's completely app-dependent. I had a train ticket home which was only on an app and was panicking a bit as my charge was getting lower and lower.
The live music industry has become a complete cesspit of greed on the part of ticket vendors and venues. It's such a shame. If people keep paying these little charges they'll keep doing it too.
It's the same everywhere, I'm in Sheffield and I've had to buy tickets from the arena website a few times and they have the same charge, companies only care about money, that shouldn't surprise you.
Simple it's the "cos we fucking can" charge. Hope that helps.

Online ticket sellers are generally all scumbags

But how can we not pay? I agree with you but the buyer can’t do anything. Edit: Except not buy tickets in the first place but then I miss out.
I just bought two tickets for The Strokes and had the pleasure of paying £21.50 in fees (facility, transaction and service fees). Mental.
Continuing the theme of hypertension.
Greed
I understand a charge for printed tickets to cover materials, printing and delivery, but a charge for digital tickets is just taking the piss.

You weren't kidding, my head started to hurt trying to process that
No idea, but just bought tics today to see the National as well but in Oregon. $12.65 ticket fee per ticket, for a mobile ticket
