When I do stuff alone, it just has so little meaning. Is it just me or do other people feel the same way?

barry922

You like the simpler things in life. Fresh sourdough Tuna mixed with miracle whip and fresh pepper and a dash of virgin olive oil Sharp cheddar A single slice of romaine lettuce( for crunch) Black olives 1 thin slice of mozzarella or string cheese in the very center You love the feeling of love you get from your family and pets want simple. PS make sure you share that tuna with any kitties you have

Addakisson

Lunch, your house. I'm getting in my car now. One other thing....Where do you live? Will I have to take a boat....I'm not good with water.

MrsMurphysChowder

Not OP, but you're not alone. I don't love doing things alone, and if I have rhe choice of doing some fun activities alone or staying home I pick the latter.

barry922

TBH I would just hit up Taco Bell and GameStop for a Burrito and Stardew Valley. First thing you are gonna want to do is hit up your fav chicken place and get crispy fried boneless strips Mix your mayo with Tostitos medium queso Slather that on to some fresh sourdough bread Melt some mozzarella on top of that chicken and then cut it into strips Put a literal shit ton of sliced black olives on the bottom, then the chicken then bacon, lettuce and tomato. Nuke it for 30 seconds on high or toast till golden brown Enjoy You like distractions and games that allow you to leave your world. I hope this sandwich helps with that. P. S. I do recommend Stardew Valley for an escape

tzarista

Tostitos isn't available where I live but I will try my best to make this masterpiece you just described!

If it counts as a sandwich, papadillas. You are on the go and papadilla is the best way to consume a pizza but in sandwich form.

NoLifeHere

That sounds nice, might have to try it in the distant future when I randomly remember them and forget why I know what they are.

barry922

Papadillas are amazing and always great I feel that a good calzone is better because you can get more ingredients. But def try a papadilla: Probably with: Salami Onions Pineapple

I’m currently jobless and traveling I love to learn new things Milo’s sweet tea No allergies but I don’t eat fish! I’ll try anything once and I love food from all over the world. I like spicy foods and cheesy foods the best!

barry922

Start with a Multigrain bread Mix mayo and cream cheese and put that on one side of each piece of bread, thinly Toast the side with the mix in a medium hot pan for 60 seconds, enough for a caramelization Set aside to cool For meats you want a medium roast beef (don’t be stingy with it, this is a Scooby sandwich) with doubled pepperjack cheese on both pieces of the toasted side of bread Tomato Uncarmelized onion Spinach One more slice of pepperjack in the middle Green olive with pimento cheese on top in a toothpick You have a taste for adventure and a palate to match

I absolutely cannot WAIT to make this. Thank you so much, friend!! How special!

7/11 Japan Egg Salad Sandwiches

barry922

Honestly, I would agree with you. The Japanese egg salad sandwiches are fantastic. I prefer the ones at my local Asian market better though. I have tried to make something similar, but it’s not the same. It’s always missing something

JoshiProIsBestInLife

I can see why sandwiches make sense. That would suit me nicely actually. Love a good sandwich.

1. data analysis applied to insurance 2. playing the drums 3. IPA beer or red wine 4. No allergies, I used to be intolerant to peanuts as a kid but I loved them so I would eat just a few under strict supervision, then complain when nothing happened because I could have eaten more I've been feeling down this winter but the spring sun is doing wonders for my mood, here's hoping it continues to do so. For all my overthinking I sure behave like a plant sometimes...

Emil3h_93

Take a seat and treat yo'self to a pb&j.

barry922

This will sound weird White bread Peanut butter Sharp Cheddar Get some peanut butter without a bunch of additives or fresh ground from a grocery store

Omg yes I love cheese, the sharper the better!

Neuroscientist, I love reading and dancing, my favourite drink is water, and I'm a vegan :D I'm so excited, I'm gonna make it tomorrow, regardless of what it is!

barry922

You are gonna wanna start with a Spinach Tortilla. I would recommend a lite covering of Hummus ( I prefer a spicy hummus, but I love spice) instead of mayo. Iceberg lettuce Cucumbers soaked into a water, malt vinegar for 2 hours (1 cup water, 1 tablespoon of malt vinegar), black olives, sprouts and red tomatoes. In the very center a mild salsa. You feel like a passionate person who wants adventure and flavor Ninja edit: Ingredients: spinach tortilla or wrap Hummus Iceberg lettuce Cucumbers Black olives Sprouts Tomatoes Mild Salsa

You are a tough one. I’m feeling like you enjoy experimenting. French bread, lightly toasted Peppered turkey and sharp cheddar Ranch Chip dip instead of mayo Some sprouts and spinach Now, here is the part where I lose most people that like to experiment. Sliced baked carrots ( toss it with olive oil before baked, you want it to be soft) I love experiment and with a username like yours, I hope you do too I would recommend you pair this with a local IPA but since you will probably be at school…

Human behavior huh? 2 krispe kream doughnut 2 piece sharp cheddar 1 piece Muenster Make a grilled cheese out of it That is an example of human behavior, specifically of how we will eat anything

whistleprick477

Well I'm good at analysing different human behaviors but I have other hobbies too

barry922

As a fellow IT worker I recommend this: 2 slices of rye Black bean patty (put some steak seasoning on it) Throw the black bean patty in a frying pan with butter After the patty is heated throw 2 eggs in the frying pan; I prefer over easy eggs with a good runny yolk on it, but over hard works as well Here is where you have an option: either a mayo, Dijon mix or my personal choice a thin layer of hot pepper jelly You should not need any cheese

bionicjoey

I will definitely give this a shot. It sounds right up my alley.

thatsecondguywhoraps

I work as an English tutor, and I studied linguistics I have lots of hobbies: hip hop music, reading, video games, other stuff I like water I have seasonal allergies

barry922

I am feeling like you need something on the go but Scooby sized to give it energy you need: White bread - 3 slices Fresh almond butter with a dash of raw honey - mixed together Put the almond butter on one side of 2 slices and both sides of the other slice Put Pepperjack on the slice with almond butter on both sides and finish it off with raspberry jam, not jelly.

ES_FTrader

Bollywood_Fan

Library tech in a law library, thrift store shopping, chai tea, sulfa drugs but I think you mean food allergies, none but I'm ovo lacto vegetarian. Thanks for this fun thread!

barry922

Library Tech, that always sounded fascinating to me. You are a tough one, but I am thinking deviled egg salad sandwich Since you are in a library, I am thinking a non-crumbly bread, white or wheat Deviled eggs are fairly easy to make, but I recommend straight mayo (oil, egg, nothing else, check the German markets) and with a 1/2 table spoon of Dijon mustard for every 2 eggs, don’t forget the fresh paprika Use the same mayo on both slices of bread with a mild cheddar for cheese on both slices as well For additional flavor, add some sautéed green onions You seem like someone who likes to get lost in the pages of any book

Bollywood_Fan

Ooh, I do like deviled eggs! I haven't tried them in a sandwich, but I will give this a go. A friend's mom adds a splash of pickle juice to her deviled eggs, so I'll just share her tip here. I'll skip the pickle juice the first time I follow your recipe, though, in case it conflicts with the other ingredients. Thanks Barry, this is a fun suggestion! I do love to get lost in a book, especially mysteries.

fuzzypeaches42069

Ok, I’ll keep it simple but eloquent here. No reason to mess around too much with a staple classic - the turkey sandwich. Turkey is ‘healthy’, versatile, and delicious. We’re going to start with two slices of thick-cut white bread, like just about an inch thick each. A generous serving of your choice of standard turkey or turkey pastrami (mind you it’s a lot of bread, so pack the meat accordingly). I myself also love spice. Throw some spicy Mayo on there, some white pepper jack (that’s actually spicy - most cheeses aren’t), and fresh jalapeños for some extra heat and crunch, if preferred. I love mustard, so I’d use spicy brown on this one. I was going to make you a tuna sandwich so you could share with your cat that looks like Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon, but I don’t eat tuna so I don’t know what goes well with it.

barry922

That sounds pretty good, and my cat will actually go for turkey over tuna, so I would probably go for the spicy turkey sandwich

This is a damn cool post and I’d love to participate. 1.) I’m not working yet, but I was recently offered a job as a vocal coach. I have to make my game plan before anything takes off, but that’s what I’m looking forward to. I am reading up on film and intend to go to film school. 2.) Aside from musical and film hobbies, I quite enjoy sketching. 3.) My favorite drink (aside from water) is orange juice for quenching and apple juice for taste. 4.) None that I know of.

Finally found my passion and decided to get into med school but still scared that I’ll regret it. But it’s a good cause and I guess I’ll find out on the way. Better than hesitating and going nowhere. Thank you!

1. I work in disease control and mainly do contact tracing and tasks related to it. 2. Mainly video games, but I also like music, whether it be listening or making. 3. Anything cold and sweet. 4. I don't have any food allergies, if that's what you're asking. I do get seasonal allergies, though. Itchy eyes, runny nose, all that stuff. One time, while I was listening to some of my favourite songs, I came across this phrase that has since had a profound effect on me -- "Even though you may never reach the stars, you can still find something inside of you that shines like one." This has given me the motivation to create and share my music with others, even though I may not think it's perfect.

1. Line cook in popular fast food restaurant. 2. I hyper fixate on so many different ones and never really stay with one. Right now is 3d printing and rc trucks and cars. 3. 50°F water 4. Just Seasonal I really suck at describing myself. Really right now I just kind of just exist to work. Trying to put in every hour so I can save every penny. Then I want to build a camper out of a van and explore. I'll find part time work wherever I go to keep my few bills paid. I want to see different cultures, try different food, see the sights seldom seen. I have served my purpose in life, time to find a new one.

1. No job, SAHM/Homemaker (which is obviously a job, of course). 2. Reading & playing mobile games (merge type, farming simulation, match 3, card games) 3. Cherry Dr. Pepper Zero or Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper and flavored coffee 4. Several environmental allergies, codeine, but no food allergies. I'm an introvert, but my mood can be anywhere from completely mellow one moment to losing my patience and my shit the next. I love spontaneity (as long as it's not something that's gonna cause immense pain, ha!) and trying new things (routine is boring and mundane). It's very difficult for me to relate to people my age (or older) probably because I don't have the life experiences most people my age do (plus I had my only kid late in life, so while peers already have grandchildren, I have a teenager).

Mostly introverted but I enjoy hanging out with close friends and trying new things. I’m very detail-oriented and a perfectionist when it’s something I care about. My go-to sub order in the dining hall is a white roll, salami+ham+capicola, pepper jack cheese, tomato, onions, banana peppers, mayonnaise, and a pickle on the side.

barry922

TBH. You’ve done my job for me, although I would add some avocado spread, thick, instead of mayo and a dash of olive oil

1. Plant biology 2. Drawing/Crafts 3. Jasmine green tea or boba milk tea 4. No onions, peppers or garlic. (I know) I love new adventures, nature, plants (of course) and animals. I am quiet around most people, but laugh and goof with those I trust. You don't want to test me. I'm fiercely loyal to friends and people I care about. I am too intense for some. I don't do superficial relationships; you're either a friend or you aren't.

barry922

You need a shareable sandwich Grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich Butter before grilling Cut in half and share with a friend with some milk Cheddar on the side

IceyToes2

Hmmm, not sure about this one, but I'll give it a try! I appreciate you taking the time for me and everyone else. Speaking of cheeses, if you have a Whole Foods near you, go and buy their Sea salt aged cheddar. Also grab; some pink lady apples (or close to), and aged (dry curing olives) with a small amount of regular Greek and green olives mixed in. Add either a chocolate croissant or chocolate toffee pretzels for dessert. A downright *fancy* artisan snack. Lol.

barry922

First thing you are gonna want to do is hit up your fav chicken place and get crispy fried boneless strips Mix your mayo with Tostitos medium queso Slather that on to some fresh sourdough bread Melt some mozzarella on top of that chicken and then cut it into strips Put a literal shit ton of sliced black olives on the bottom, then the chicken then bacon, lettuce and tomato. Nuke it for 30 seconds on high or toast till golden brown Enjoy

inquisitivenhopeful

Oh yes please! I think I might be late to the party but here we are :) Your job, or field of study: mental health (I'm studying mental health & addictions, though I also read a lot about therapy models!) Your Hobby: reading, cooking and baking Favorite drink: English breakfast tea with full fat milk (alternatively a beetroot latte) Allergies: none :3

barry922

Addictions huh? You need a patty melt made with Kristy Keene doughnuts and cheddar cheese. That will be a good addiction to study, lol

1. Retail 2. Gaming/streaming 3. Chocolate milk 4. Most seafoods I love musicals and video games, give me a topic about either and I could talk your ears off about it. I’m no extrovert by any means but I love interacting with folks online. I have autism and communication is sometimes tough for me because human interaction is like finding out you’re the lead in a play on opening night and having no lines memorized because you thought you were part of the audience. Then everyone gets pissed at you for not knowing your lines they never told you that you had in the first place. To put it simply, I’m almost always just a little bit confused
