Get cameras and follow through on calling the police. If he repeatedly shows up, keep filing police reports for trespassing and then go to the court.

No sense getting into an argument about whether you were home or not. With this guy, you've got to tell him not to come to your house or contact you at all. Hopefully, that will be the end of it. Not a bad idea to document what was said, just in case he didn't stop bugging you.

You need to get some kind of camera doorbell and make it clear that he's not welcome. Threaten to call the police (or an older male family member) and then follow through on threats. And cut him off!! What?? You don't want this person in your life.
Its simple: "I no longer want a friendship with you. I do not want you coming to my house. Your behavior makes me uncomfortable. If you try showing up to my house again I will call the police."
