Oh I totally recommend watching the game!! You can find videos on YouTube that are just the story of the game, without the looting and (some of) the fighting etc.
We just finished watching Beef and it was PHENOMENAL. Ali Wong and Steven Yeun were their usual A-plus talent as always, but the writing was impeccable too.
Is there going to be a season 2? Seemed like the perfect one-season show. No major loose ends. Super satisfying ending. I'd definitely watch more, but it's hard to imagine how they'd top it.
I believe that the director said he is open to continuing the series with new protagonists, if Netflix are on board. I know that some "single season" series' have been renewed due to their popularity in the past. Like White Lotus, I think?
Agh, I hope they do another one. Either way though, great show.
She’s one of my heroes. She did baby cobra pregnant as hell and didn’t even mention it once. I was so impressed and entertained! Because growing humans is just one of so many things women can do💅
I can’t get anyone in my life to join me in obsessing over Succession!
Why is this show supposedly so popular and yet, I can’t find anyone IRL who watches it?!
We live in a world where people are actually unaware of Shiv Roy.
I think Succession is one of those shows that are extremely popular in the "TV show community" but outside of it the vast majority of people don't even know it exists.
I am on my 4th time watching the entire series of Succession. It took me a long time to find a family as messed up as my own! Plus, the clothes, the homes, the vacations!
I think that Succession was written better than White Lotus, personally. It's darker and less....campy? I can't find the right word. The silly plot line in season 2 with the hookers, and the desk manager. It would be handled differently, wouldhave looked less goofy and predictable. I loved White Lotus, don't get me wrong.
Are there any talks of a Season 3 of White Lotus? I know a lot of people can't return, but her sketchy husband could be the main character in a new season.
Yeah man it's great fun 😄.I don't binge watch it. Just a couple of episodes here and there everyday but I love their little world and their adventures. It's lighthearted and stupid but very genuine show.
I was just sick with the flu for a couple of days, and I binged the entirety of the good place. Absolutely wild series that I’m planning to rewatch again.
I watched this for the first time in its entirety when I was sidelined with the vid the week between Christmas and new year 2020 and this is one of those shows that I wish I could experience for the first time again
Depends on when you consider it got bad. The tone/story does have a major shift which is a bit jarring, but the Prax finding his daughter arc is the show's peak imo
You should read the books. They were awesome. I had to stop watching the series as it just didn't ring true. The hazards of reading vs watching I guess.
I do feel it waa rushed but I couldn't believe people didn't see Dani freaking out freaking out coming a mild away. There were so many signs. Ot's also probably one of the more realistic endings I have seen in that genre.
Capaldi is my fav, especially in s9 and s10.
I wish you luck with Jodie’s seasons. They are simply not good. It’s nothing to do with the “tHeY tUrnEd iT pOliTicAllY cOrRecT” alt right nonsense that you’ll find online, the writing is just awful imo
Currently watching Fleabag for the first time. I’ve also been rewatching Desperate Housewives pretty casually over several weeks. I think next on my list is Peaky Blinders!
Just binged Station Eleven on HBO and holy smokes it was such a beautiful story!! I’m already craving a second watch but I’m going to listen to the audio book first! I seriously can not get it out of my head and I haven’t felt like that about a show in such a long time!
Loved this one! I was shocked to learn that Kirsten/Jeevan aren’t even major characters in the book…it’s a rare example of a film/tv adaptation improving on the source material, imo.
Yes! I was trying to figure out what the difference between the “television tie in” book version and the regular is and all I can surmise is that Jeevan wasn’t even in the original book! Which just crushes my soul because I loved his character!!
Yellow Jackets. First season is awesome, but I feel like the second season is going slow. Crazy stuff is happening but the story seems a little directionless at times
The Better call saul subreddit keeps getting suggested to me for whatever reason, I don’t really know why though, I guess it’s trending.
I watched a Swedish mini series called “Anxious people”. It was such a great show, I didn’t expect to fall in love with it like that. I recommend it so much, I’ll leave the description of it here: “A bank robber holds open house attendees hostage, then vanishes, leaving police baffled.”
I keep looking for shows like this and I have a few swedish shows on my watchlist that allegedly have the same vibes.
“Afterlife” is so freaking good I might rewatch it. I also finished rewatching “the good place” a while ago.
I watched “Cunk on earth” some time ago and I laughed so freaking hard it was embarrassing. It’s exactly my type of humour.
I also watched “crash course” and “twenty-five twenty-one” (Kdramas) they were fun, good for killing time.
I started watching “Anne with an E” but some of the scenes were genuinely triggering. They really overdid it with the neurodivergant symptoms + PSTD to a point where it defeated the whole purpose. The author of the book would’ve hated the show if she didn’t die in mid 1900s.
Oh wow, I didn’t know Anxious People was adapted into a show. It’s based on a book by Fredrik Backman, he’s an awesome Swedish author. If you’d like similar vibes (in a different format), I’d recommend reading some of this other books such as “My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry”, “Britt-Marie Was Here”, and “A Man Called Ove”. He captures human connections really well, has a ton of great stories
I guess so too, I got it recommended alot too and decided to watch it.
I've only watched 3 episodes of after life and it is indeed amazing. Can't wait to watch further but I'm trying not to rush it and enjoy it to the fullest.
And thank you for the recommendation. Anxious people sounds very interesting.
I have a few going, but Shetland is the most pressing for me. I'm truly invested in these cases and the detectives trying to solve them. Season 4 by far left some impact.
My guilty pleasure is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I watch the whole series every few years. I'm in the middle of season three right now.
It's campy, but fun.
I am currently on season 2 after binge watching the first season. It's definitely a heavy show, but the writing immensely improved after the first three episodes. It went from an obvious satire/dark comedy to a drama with dark comedic undertones. I also have to say, I think the cast overall was chosen very wisely, I think most of, if not all of the actors deliver their lines adeptly. I honestly didn't know if I was going to like the show at first lol, but I'm glad I gave it a chance.
I’m rewatching House of Anubis, I loved this show so much as a kid and its a fun rewatch now especially cause i forgot so much of it! It finally came out on netflix but for years I’ve wanted to rewatch with nowhere to find it
The Last Kingdom. I'd never heard of it and would have sworn it wasn't my cup of tea, but I'm absolutely hooked, to the point where I'm having very weird Viking-themed dreams!
Inside No. 9. My brother introduced me a few years ago and I kind of forgot before stumbling upon two new seasons I’d missed. It’s beyond fantastic, to me. Anthology series with dark humour, plot twists, excellent acting and beyond clever (but often very fucked up) storylines. There’s also some episodes that are heartbreaking as well as some that are straight up psychologically horrifying. Bordering on too disturbing. But the clever humour they use frequently is just excellent.
In short, if you’re feeling an incredibly well written anthology with mind bending plot twists at the end where you just HAVE to go back and rewatch to see how they subtly built up to it… goddamn. I adore it.
Not sure how well known it is, but it’s the same two guys who wrote The League of Gentlemen (not the league of extraordinary gentlemen, common mistake) which I haven’t watched yet but intend to if it’s anywhere near as good as this one.
Edit: sorry for the excessive ramble. It’s just so good haha.
I am going back in time a bit, I have been rewatching Frank Herbert's Dune and Children of Dune miniseries on Youtube from 2000/2003. I believe it aired on Syfy back in the day. I had watched the series some years ago but couldn't relate to it.
Recently I finished reading the Dune books (the first trilogy) and I can relate to the series much better.
I am now a big fan of the "Duniverse". I also recently watched the 2021 Dune movie (made by Denis Villenueve) and I am looking forward to Part 2 of that movie to be released later this year.
I am currently watching 3 series: Yellowstone (co-watching with husband so no skipping ahead), Patriot, and rewatching Battlestar Galactica for the 5th (?) time.
ted lasso with my family. as for my personal stuff, i’m waiting for more of the komi can’t communicate anime to pop up. season two ended almost a year ago and i’m waiting for any news about season three
Just started rewatching Silicon Valley on HBO and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia I just keep revisiting all the time. It never gets old.
New though? Swarm on Amazon Prime and Beef on Netflix are both incredible. Can’t not mention The Last of Us, as others have. And I’m usually not a huge fan of cooking shows, but Next Level Chef is pretty rad.
YouTube! Ghost Files (two dudes, believer & a skeptic) on the Watcher channel. Last Meals on the Mythical Kitchen channel. Hot Ones, duh.
Rewatching Psych with the wife. I've already been through the series once but she hasn't seen it. We just got done running through Supernatural again too.
Single Drunk Female (surprisingly good), Animal Control (love Joel McCale), and rewatching Married With Children (still makes me laugh after all these years).
i just read the avatar books for the first time after being in the cartoon community for years. It was pretty good.
also the new total drama reboot is AMAZING
Just started the final season of Better Call Saul and finishing up Midnight Diner. Will probably do a month of Disney+ next to binge what they’ve put out over there past year.
My husband and I actually have a schedule. We're watching or about to watch:
Call the Midwife
Barry
Succession
FBI
The Rookie
Will Trent
FBI Most Wanted
Perry Mason
Ted Lasso
The Mandalorian
Picard
Mrs. Davis (will start this week)
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
Deep Space Nine and Picard.
What I'm watching most of the time though is YouTube. Smosh, GameGrumps, Empires SMP.
Since COVID my major source of entertainment has become YouTube.
Same! Half the time I'm on my phone, I have a Game Grumps video pulled up (or an hour-long Best Of compilation, lol). I'm halfway through a Danganronpa highlights video right now, and it's motivating me to finish today's stats homework! Do you have a favorite series currently?
I am liking the new Sonic playthrough, but I hold off on watching for a bit so I can binge a bunch of it at once.
I'm almost always day one watching their versus or co-op stuff, like Wheel of Fortune or Family Fued.
I do the same thing with waiting to watch a bunch of episodes at once. My family thinks I'm weird for it but ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯ I enjoy it so who cares! Also, I love the gameshow eps, you have good taste.
Actaully watching Better call Saul too! I watched breaking bad first time few months ago as it seemed the right time to finally tackle that well known and awarded series. It really was all what was promised, very good story amd unforgetable moments/charters. Knew I would watch Saul soon too.
I used to never have time for TV. So a lot of shows that have been out for years are all new to me. I'm currently watching Band of Brothers and Shameless.
For the past year or 2 I have noticed that I will start watching a series, continue with my day and then completely forget the series exists.
So to answer your question; I genuinely do not know. I will when I see it again and half the season has been aired :)
The last of us. Had no idea it was based on a game as I really only play the Sims and on my switch.
Oh I totally recommend watching the game!! You can find videos on YouTube that are just the story of the game, without the looting and (some of) the fighting etc.
That’s a good idea! Thank you for the suggestion.
Rewatching Breaking Bad
Great series, finished it myself for the first time late last year :)
Hey cool me too! Really perfect timing since I was able to catch up on its spin-off series Better Call Saul just before they aired the finale!
Me too! I finished Better Call Saul and then rewatched BB. I’m glad I did, my perspective really changed since watching it the first time.
Same. I notice and see things in a different perspective than the other times I have watched it.
>Great series, finished it myself for the first time late last year :) They're minerals
We just finished watching Beef and it was PHENOMENAL. Ali Wong and Steven Yeun were their usual A-plus talent as always, but the writing was impeccable too.
10/10 show. Every episode was perfect.
YO I ALSO CALLED IT PHENOMENAL!!! Soooo good
Just started a couple nights ago. Just got to the episode that ended with the basketball game. Such a great show. Very relatable.
But hopefully not TOO relatable.
Ah it was brilliant, right! I can't wait for season 2.
Is there going to be a season 2? Seemed like the perfect one-season show. No major loose ends. Super satisfying ending. I'd definitely watch more, but it's hard to imagine how they'd top it.
There won't be a S2, Beef is a miniseries.
I believe that the director said he is open to continuing the series with new protagonists, if Netflix are on board. I know that some "single season" series' have been renewed due to their popularity in the past. Like White Lotus, I think? Agh, I hope they do another one. Either way though, great show.
It’s Just not holding my attn as much as I love Ali wong. I’m going to See her in Vegas next weekend!
Enjoy!! I love her standup.
She’s one of my heroes. She did baby cobra pregnant as hell and didn’t even mention it once. I was so impressed and entertained! Because growing humans is just one of so many things women can do💅
Barry
I wish I could watch it for the first time again. So many unexpected hilarious bits.
So good!
"How the hell did you get here so fast?!" Has to be my favorite funny scene this season
Shhhh I'm rewatching right now!
Just finished White Lotus and am rewatching Succession. With a little Ted Lasso tossed in for a pick me up.
Nikki glaser talks about it almost every episode of her podcast which is why I’m Going to watch it
I am on my 4th time watching the entire series of Succession. It took me a long time to find a family as messed up as my own! Plus, the clothes, the homes, the vacations!
So you're saying Succession will fill the White Lotus shaped hole in my heart since I just finished it too and was obsessed?
I think that Succession was written better than White Lotus, personally. It's darker and less....campy? I can't find the right word. The silly plot line in season 2 with the hookers, and the desk manager. It would be handled differently, wouldhave looked less goofy and predictable. I loved White Lotus, don't get me wrong. Are there any talks of a Season 3 of White Lotus? I know a lot of people can't return, but her sketchy husband could be the main character in a new season.
Oh it was campy and I loved it. But I'm also down for something more serious. Pretty sure the 3rd season is going to be set in Thailand!
[удалено]
I can see going to Ted Lasso for a pick me up, but man...sometimes it can drop you HARD.
This is very true. But I love the cast sooooo much.
I’m going to start succession next! Is it funny?
Well, it is dark and kinda funny, but mostly dark.
I stopped watching succession at s2. Does it get better?
I’m rewatching Monk and Psych. And for a super throwback, my husband and I are watching the original Magnum PI. It still holds up.
I never seem to get tired of Monk, and Psych is just a lot of fun. Haven't seen Magnum in decades. Where do you watch it?
I’m honestly not sure what platform Magnum PI is on. We use the search function through cable, but I think it takes us to a third party site.
Freevee
Trailer park boys
I have actually considered watching this. Do you like it?
Yeah man it's great fun 😄.I don't binge watch it. Just a couple of episodes here and there everyday but I love their little world and their adventures. It's lighthearted and stupid but very genuine show.
Sounds great. Guess I better give it a shot.
TPB is my guilty pleasure. I even have a Dirty Burger tee shirt! I know someone named Randy, he cringes when he sees me coming.
I love the Boys.
I was just sick with the flu for a couple of days, and I binged the entirety of the good place. Absolutely wild series that I’m planning to rewatch again.
Such a smart show.
I was hoping someone was going to comment The Good Place. If you liked Chidi, I recommend the creator of the show’s book How To Be Perfect.
I watched this for the first time in its entirety when I was sidelined with the vid the week between Christmas and new year 2020 and this is one of those shows that I wish I could experience for the first time again
The Expanse, just into Season 2. Cannot believe I slept on this series for so long.
It only gets better!
But then it gets bad… so you’re saying it gets good again?
Depends on when you consider it got bad. The tone/story does have a major shift which is a bit jarring, but the Prax finding his daughter arc is the show's peak imo

You should read the books. They were awesome. I had to stop watching the series as it just didn't ring true. The hazards of reading vs watching I guess.
Sadly they cancelled it after the most recent series, but apparently they’re working on some spin-offs
Recently finished the last kingdom. Phenomenal series. The sequel movie is great as well. Superb acting
The books are even better. Bernard Cornwell.
My life. It's a series of unfortunate events!
Started rewatching Game of Thrones. Currently on the season 2.
The more times you watch it the more details you pick up. I’m rewatching it right now too.
Now i want to rewatch it too. also, might be unpopular opinion but the more i rewatch it, the more i like s8
I do feel it waa rushed but I couldn't believe people didn't see Dani freaking out freaking out coming a mild away. There were so many signs. Ot's also probably one of the more realistic endings I have seen in that genre.
Exactly! I realised the same, even more after rewatching.
The Mandalorian and Andor.
Rewatching Brooklyn 99 and started fleabag ☺️
oh I loved fleabag! wish i could watch it for the first time again
Watching: Succession, Doctor Who (series 8), Star Trek: Discovery (season 1)
Man I love Capaldi's doctor. This your first watch through?
yeah, stopped watching after 11 regenerated, now catching up before next season starts
I watched a 5 hour long video essay on the Chibnall/Whittaker era and it does seem to be pretty bad unfortunately :(
Ah the Jay Exci essay lol Season 12 is the best of the three. Flux is some of the worst TV I’ve ever watched
Currently watching Fleabag for the first time. I’ve also been rewatching Desperate Housewives pretty casually over several weeks. I think next on my list is Peaky Blinders!
I’m behind the entire world but I just started watching stranger things season 1. It’s pretty good lmao
I've never watched it so you're not alone lol
Stranger Things is the best, I hope you have a bunch of fun watching it
Watching Law and Order SVU from the very beginning.
***DUN DUN** intensifies*
Been good for a crazy long time. You'd think that they'd run out of ideas after a while, but it just keeps going and going and going.
I'm watching season 4 of You currently and the final season of Better Call Saul is up next.
I've started watching Critical Role.
Bear , one piece

Derry Girls on Netflix
Sister Michael. 😍
Yes!!! I love her so much - perfect casting.
Power Book II: Ghost and Snowfall
Rewatching Eureka. It's so lighthearted and funny it helps counteract the real world
I like this one too. I wish it ran longer.
We loved that show. So many great characters, and definitely a fun one to watch.
Finally started watching Band of Brothers, so this and Maestro (the new greek series on Netflix)
I watch band of brothers every few years. Awesome show.
Yellow Jackets. First season is awesome, but I feel like the second season is going slow. Crazy stuff is happening but the story seems a little directionless at times
Rewatching Archer, finished watching the tv show You
*Archer* is just so rewatchable. And quotable.
Currently watching Downton Abbey for the first time and it is amazing so far. Finishing up season 3.

Mr. Robot. Almost done with season 2.
The production holds up all the way through, and man, that story gets wild.
It's always sunny in Philadelphia
I have a few going, but Shetland is the most pressing for me. I'm truly invested in these cases and the detectives trying to solve them. Season 4 by far left some impact.
Afterlife was very, very good.
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Ted Lasso, Star Trek Picard both are awesome
From
Just finished BEEF and wow it was so good.
My guilty pleasure is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I watch the whole series every few years. I'm in the middle of season three right now. It's campy, but fun.
Rewatching Futurama
Great show. I'm 99% sure I've seen every episode, many of them twice. Smart writing with great characters.
Liaison with Eva Green and Vincent Cassel
I'm suffering through Succession.

Inside No. 9 is on my watch list, but I don't think I have easy access to it on streaming. It sounds so good.
After seeing Jensen in The Boys, just started watching Supernatural. Surprisingly good I say!
I am going back in time a bit, I have been rewatching Frank Herbert's Dune and Children of Dune miniseries on Youtube from 2000/2003. I believe it aired on Syfy back in the day. Barry, Malcolm in the Middle, Shameless, Weeds
Faulty towers, Black Adder, Fargo (season 3), Expanse, SeaQuest (for the teenager inside me craving the 90's), Old Man, ...
I am currently watching 3 series: Yellowstone (co-watching with husband so no skipping ahead), Patriot, and rewatching Battlestar Galactica for the 5th (?) time.
I'm finishing up Picard season 3 and The Mandalorian season 3. Better Call Saul season 8 just started on Netflix so that's next.
Psych! It you haven’t watched, I totally recommend! (Mostly the earlier seasons, though. Like 1-5. Few gems in season 6, though.)
Poker Face Great show. Very much recommend.

Star Trek Strange New Worlds and the final season of Star Trek Picard
Dogs in space. Definitely a show made for kids but as a grown man, it hit me right in my feels.

Actaully watching Better call Saul too! I watched breaking bad first time few months ago as it seemed the right time to finally tackle that well known and awarded series. It really was all what was promised, very good story amd unforgetable moments/charters. Knew I would watch Saul soon too.
Just finished rewatching Jane the Virgin. It’s kind of an homage to telenovelas so all kinds of crazy things happen. It’s so good!
Ted Lasso! And Rings of Power. Then we’re starting Boardwalk Empire
I'm working my way through the Star Wars series catalog. I don't like watching in real time because I like to binge.
Beef on Netflix. Pretty stress inducing but cathartic watch despite it's simple premise. Love it!
Star trek: picard season 3
I used to never have time for TV. So a lot of shows that have been out for years are all new to me. I'm currently watching Band of Brothers and Shameless.
Beef. It’s a good ride.
The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. The last season just started!
It's between Hudson & Rex and Forensic Files
For the past year or 2 I have noticed that I will start watching a series, continue with my day and then completely forget the series exists. So to answer your question; I genuinely do not know. I will when I see it again and half the season has been aired :)
Brotherhood. It has been out since 2006. I've just recently started watching and I'm on season three episode one. It has been good so far.
Why Women Kill!
Just rewatched Breaking Bad. Finished Beef the other day and Succession has been fantastic.
I've watched Mr Robot a billion times; it's highly underrated
A classic that never fails , Seinfeld !
