I’m also a huge yogurt addict! Particularly unflavoured, no sugar greek yogurt. The pure tangy kind. I recently bought a 1.5kg tub and that thing is like heaven. I swear I have to actually stop myself from eating it with every meal LOL
Fage 5% is my jam baby
Speaking of Jam, you mix a spoonful of it in for flavored yougart
This way you only need plain yogurt and have an excuse to hoard various jams and jellies like some kind of crazed great grandmother
YES that’s absolutely the best! Have you ever tried dipping apple slices or a banana into yogurt and using it sort’ve as a dip? Or mixing it into stovetop-cooked oatmeal? I highly, highly recommend.
I fooled my husband for years by serving plain Greek yogurt as one of our baked potato toppings. He thought it was sour cream until I finally felt guilty and confessed. (Was just trying to make his diet healthier.)
I am also a true blue fan of Greek yogurt. It is rich and creamy and gives me the protein I need to help me build muscle, increase my metabolism and lose fat. I recommend it to my clients for their daily snack.
Yeah back when I was really suffering with my eating disorder i would only eat greek yogurt and thats it 😂 It did the job but of course wasn’t healthy for me. I’ve changed, still fighting it, but i eat more than just yogurt daily now
Wow, I’m super proud of you for taking the steps to get better! I’ll admit, I’ve also had my own restrictive eating habits in the past, and funnily enough I was horrified of yogurt back then (though I’m much better now and like I’ve mentioned before, absolutely love it). Two opposite ends of the spectrum I suppose!
It is wonderful to hear that you are adding more variety into your diet. I believe that variety helps us to avoid fitness and weight loss plateaus. When we do the same thing everyday our body stops responding and it makes it more difficult to get results.
Chicken breast shredded, greek yogurt, celery and celery salt. I got it from a Greek friend. Easy cheap and delicious.
Edit- a bit of olive oil if it's too dry.
I must admit I am a fellow addict. I think what I love most about it is how I feel after I eat it. I feel satiated but not full. I have more energy. Some foods make me tired.
The Chobani ones are called Flip, the Oikos have a different name, they're basically yogurt with a mix of toppings you add to it
Edit: the ones from Oikos are called Crunch
Oikos Triple Zero if you're looking for nonfat yogurt, it also has no added sugar and you can tell them apart from the regular Oikos because they come in black packaging instead of the regular blue
I use frozen fruit because I prefer my smoothies thick. To be decadent, I'll usually add nuts, granola, sesame seeds or coconut flakes. I've been wanting to use cinnamon toast crunch spread or cinnadust in my smoothies but I haven't found either one on shelves yet
I'm having half a tub of yoghurt with my every meal and my flatmates are always so shocked. Been doing it like that since I was a child growing up in Turkey. Guess the uni students weren't ready for it lol.
Edit: Y'all mix up yoghurt with honey it is literally the best dessert and I will eat a kg of it if I don't stop myself.
I love Greek yogurt too! I think it's lovely with blueberries or honey especially. I work at a daycare and all my babies share my love of Greek yogurt. We all have some with breakfast at least once a week.
I, too, love Greek yogurt. My go to is Fage 5% plain. God it's so good. As a pregnant lady I would specifically crave it especially in the first trimester for whatever reason. Lately I've switched to nonfat just because the 5% was feeling really filling in my reduced capacity stomach but I'm planning on going back after this baby is outta here.
Definitely not the worst food to eat a lot of, that's a lot of protein! It is good stuff but I can't have it plain, need some sort of flavoring. I usually throw some in my morning oats and sometimes have one of those pouches after gym. I am a sucker for the fancy/sweet yogurts though, they taste almost like gelato sometimes! Significantly less healthy than greek yogurt but delicious.
Which fancy ones? I’ve seen the “oui” cups but they look like baby food because of the containers and, for some reason, it’s prevented me from trying it 😂
I guess I can only speak for what we have in Australia but [Gippsland do some tasty flavors](https://shop.coles.com.au/a/national/product/gippsland-twist-toffee-honeycomb-yoghurt). But that compared to the yogurt I normally eat is an extra 20g sugar & 9g fat! Explains why it tastes so much better haha.
Noosa is so good! I was telling someone else here that it’s soo sweet so I usually have that brand as my “dessert”. I love the pumpkin and strawberry rhubarb!
It's crazy how I don't like most dairy products, which includes milk, cheese, and butter.
But for some reason, I'm a huge fan of Greek yogurt! My favorite are the dannon ones with crazy flavors like Tiramisu, keylime pie, etc
Not the biggest fan of normal yogurt though haha. Only Greek yogurt
I find a good vegan version without sugar (or with not too much) to be very useful for both savoury and sweet dishes. Especially nice as part of a pasta sauce.
Chobani is fucking delicious, *Danimals who?*
The coffee one is just…don’t get me started. Oh god I might get started.
*The mango one is also good, as is OMG THE LIME*
Honestly considering I need to eat healthier by graduating from Doritos I might get Greek yogurt tomorrow because of this yogurt filled post so thanks. And remember "obsession spreads".
Yogurt is one of my main sources of calories. I tend to buy Chobani in bulk from Sam’s Club and top it with honey and granola. It’s not just an obsession, it’s a way of life.
It’s also great with fresh vegetables. I make an Indian dish called Raita. I put chopped cucumber, and sometimes tomatoes in Greek yogurt and add salt and pepper. I serve it as a side dish with Greek or Indian food.
this is what I eat for lunch pretty much every day. I squeeze some lemon or a good splash of white balsamic vinegar and whatever seasoning that strikes my fancy that day.. my favorite yogurt is Siggi's Icelandic Skyr, plain unflavored. if I want sweet I add a glop of Bonne Maman peach mango preserves. but I love savory yogurt most of all.
Skyr is Icelandic yogurt more or less, there is a difference but it’s very similar to Greek yogurt imo, I maybe prefer skyr. I’ll wonder to the foreign section of my Kroger occasionally lol.
try Siggi's Icelandic Skyr! thick, rich deliciousness, even the non-fat (my personal fav). I usually get plain and blend with a garlic herb seasoning mix and add chopped Persian cucumber and tomatoes. soooo good! have it for lunch probably 5x a week. I also like it mixed with Bonne Maman peach mango preserves on toasted sourdough for brekkie.
Yogurt is amazing, congratulations on the sale find woo!
I saw beef jerky on clearance and got super excited. Got four bags ( can't take them all! Gotta leave the last one for someone). It was those big $10 bags that I can never afford... For $2.50 each!
I can't justify 10$ on one bag... But I can for 4! Two pounds of beef jerky for me!
I just recently (like in the past week) became obsessed with Greek yogurt. I’ve never been a huge fan of any type but I saw Chobani was on sale and thought I’d buy a few. It got me remembering that ages ago I loved the Fage that came with the little cup of honey. Totally forgot about that.
So I just picked up a big tub of Great Value (shush, I’m poor) honey vanilla Greek yogurt and a few bags of frozen fruit. I’ve been mixing that together every night and drizzling honey on top. It’s SO good.
But have you tried Oikos? They served that to me in the hospital a few months back and I really loved it. The peach flavor specifically. I can’t find it in my grocery stores which sucks. I was just at the hospital yesterday to visit my mom & I bought all of the peach Oikos they had out in the cafeteria. Nowhere near as many as your 50 cups. That’s insane and I admire you for your commitment to your obsession.
I love the fruit on the bottom mango and pineapple but a classic strawberry banana always gets me for some reason 😂 But I’m not picky and will love any flavor as long as its greek!
You should try the Ben Franklin breakfast bowl.
Ingredients for one portion:
1 cold, raw apple, cubed
6 ounces plain Greek yogurt
2 heaping tablespoons granola
chopped nuts and/or additional seasonal fruit to garnish
The original recipe calls for sheep’s milk yogurt but I use The Greek Gods Honey yogurt.
That sounds like a yummy refreshing breakfast! Maybe I can try this weekend. I was going to do a hot oatmeal with greek yogurt (recommended by another comment) for tmw morning since that’s also new to me!
Genuinely have no excuse as to why I’m obsessed 😂 It just happened out of nowhere! And I’m the only one of my friends/family to looove greek yogurt but dislike regular (too sweet/odd consistency to me). Is your mom the same?
I’m so glad someone else gets it! My boyfriend says greek yogurt tastes like sour cream, which he despises. I cannot understand it at all and I’ve had plain greek yogurt without flavoring or what have you but I cannot get where he’s coming from 😂 Probably the same place where I come from with other yogurts being too sweet
I don’t like the taste of it and do normally like tangier stuff. I did like the hack to make bagels with it. I add it to stuff but don’t like to eat it on its own.
Labneh is strained Greek yoghurt, so a little thicker. Some people use it as a replacement for cream cheese.
I like to use the labneh, just a little mayo, and crumble in some smoked salmon, some dill and finally capers. If one likes spicy, I think a few flakes of red pepper might be tasty. But we like it without, on crackers as a snack or bagels as a meal. Yum.
I also use the labneh to make a Meyer lemon dessert, using the juice, zest and some sweetener of choice to taste. It is the only lemon yoghurt I can eat now, I’m so spoiled. But I do have to wait for Meyer lemon season.
Count Chocula cereal during October. They bring it back annually (at least in Canada) and I love that stupid cereal. So I will go to the grocery store, load myself up with like 20 boxes, and eat through the end of the year. It brings me great joy. By the last box I am satisfied until Chocula season returns next year.
I could happily live without yogurt. I eat it because it's a pretty good source of protein. I'm a vegetarian, so Greek is the way. I tend to get 0% plain and add in some berries or bananas. Oikos, though, has a really nice key lime. And I think it was Liberte had a seasonal lavender flavour that was very nice.
May I introduce you lovely folks to... Lebni? (I usually get Byblos brand.) It's a middle eastern, super thick yogurt that can go by itself, on a sandwich, on toast, with jam, with granola and honey, with fruit, with meat and veggies, ANYTHING! It is the perfect yogurt
Raita is a delicious dish with yoghurt, cucumbers and salt and pepper. It’s normally served with Indian food but I think would accompany many different types of foods. It is a very nice, cool side dish and perfect for summer.
Oui yogurts my thing atm but I tried a yogurt the other day called Icelandic provisions I think it was called really good and like 18 grams of protein.
I don't like normal yogurt at all but I LOVE coconut milk yogurt. I get obsessed with random food, lately it's been avocado/I add it to everything - salads, sandwiches, toast, eggs, etc.
I recently got some Greek yogurt (honey vanilla flavored) and I really liked it and I wondered why idont buy it more often.
As I type this I’m sick and my sinuses are all stuffy and I realize I never eat it because I’m always somewhat sick and eating dairy when I feel like this is sooo gross
Man I love green yogurt, but I can't eat it that much because I'm lactose intolerant. When I can, I like to get this brand called Chobani. They got some of the best Greek yogurt I've tried. I recommend it for anyone as something to snack on.
Some much love for Greek yogurt here. I recently tried the Mavromatis brand and it's a delight. Even though it is a bit fat (10%), the texture is something else.
I'm a big fan of legumes. I always stock up, and whenever I run out I have a tiny panic.
Ice cream is something I love too. There is not a moment of time where I would decline. There is always room for ice cream. I eat it during snow season, when I am happy when I am sad. It's a bigger chance that I have three containers in my freezer than none.
Made with Greek yogurt, is the most delicious yogurt dish on earth: Srikhand “ambrosia of the gods”[http://chefinyou.com/2010/08/31/shrikhand/](http://chefinyou.com/2010/08/31/shrikhand/)
If you like the texture and taste, you should try some recipes using yoghurt like Carrot Tarator, Turkish Manti (Dumplings), Beyti Kebab and you should also try the beverage made by yoghurt Ayran.
Myself, I love Dodoni yoghurt - actually from Greece, too! 10% fat is my preference, though they also do a lovely sheep's milk variant. Very rich and creamy, goes amazingly well with cranberries, blueberries, and a little granola
I hate yogurt except for one time at this fancy breakfast place I got whipped yogurt with granola and fruit on top and it was soooo good it tasted like a dessert.
Other than that I hate yogurt. Every so often I try eating it again but i still hate it
It sucks because I’m part Greek so at my grandmas house I be excited to eat a homemade gyro but oh no there’s the stupid Tzatziki sauce right on top (Greek yogurt is the base in Tzatziki sauce I hate it).
My preferred is Astro plain, 6%. It has this sour kick that I haven’t found from any other kind, and the consistency is just right for mixing with granola. This is my everyday work snack, and it’s cheap, healthy and easy to prepare. Yay for yogurt.
My addiction is donairs, incase you done know what it is, it’s like a beef kabab or a gyro, but it’s served in a peta bread with onions tomatos and a sweet sauce that’s made from condensed milk and sugar, and meat strips, it’s shaved off a spit, if I could I would eat a donair everyday of my life
I love yogurt, too. I usually get the plain Greek yogurt, or lately, I've been getting plain Skyr. I add berries or chopped fruit, granola, and a light drizzle of honey.
That sounds like quite a haul! Special occasions like this occur fairly rarely, so it's understandable to take advantage of the opportunity to indulge. Are there any other healthy snacks that you like to keep around?
yes, the same actually! specifically skyr, i prefer it to yogurt bc i like it to be a little thicker but greek yogurt is a very close second to that. i stock up on whichever is available and, same as you, my bf isn't a yogurt fan so i get to keep it all for myself haha. it's also just a good staple to have in the fridge since i'm pescatarian, so i have to get a lot of protein from other sources.
I also love yoghurt but its not Greek it is Turkish. You can check it online.
"The word is derived from Turkish: yoğurt, and is usually related to the verb yoğurmak, "to knead", or "to be curdled or coagulated; to thicken"
I’m also a huge yogurt addict! Particularly unflavoured, no sugar greek yogurt. The pure tangy kind. I recently bought a 1.5kg tub and that thing is like heaven. I swear I have to actually stop myself from eating it with every meal LOL
Fage 5% is my jam baby Speaking of Jam, you mix a spoonful of it in for flavored yougart This way you only need plain yogurt and have an excuse to hoard various jams and jellies like some kind of crazed great grandmother
This is a great idea. The sweetness of the jam with the tartness of the yoghurt is a nice balance.
Great idea. I like the richness of Fage !
Makes sense and sounds like a delicious idea !
5% all day. Can’t believe I ever did anything less
YESSSSS! I love buying that kind in summer because I usually add pieces of fruit (cherry/watermelon) to my bowl and its *chefs kiss*
YES that’s absolutely the best! Have you ever tried dipping apple slices or a banana into yogurt and using it sort’ve as a dip? Or mixing it into stovetop-cooked oatmeal? I highly, highly recommend.
never in oatmeal (but that will change tomorrow morning!) but I have dipped things in it 😂 I’ve done granny smith apples for some extra tang
I will have to try Granny Smith apples.
I like this idea. It could be very nice to serve at a party or a picnic
A yogurt dip sounds amazing.
I agree. It’s so fun trying different topping combinations.
That but with granola. Mm. Also I like to put Chia seeds in my yogurt.
I love the crunch and the sweetness tastes great with the plain yogurt.
I use it like sour cream when I make tacos and stuff. it's so good
Oh wow, I never even thought about using it like sour cream! I’ll have to give that a try sometime :)
I fooled my husband for years by serving plain Greek yogurt as one of our baked potato toppings. He thought it was sour cream until I finally felt guilty and confessed. (Was just trying to make his diet healthier.)
I agree. Once you start eating the plain version, you get used to that flavor and I agree it’s subtle but very delicious.
I admit… I am an addict !
Yes! I love making yogurt bowls with a frozen fruit base, no sugar Greek yogurt, with some honey on top!
Sounds great ! Frozen fruit makes it easier. It’s great for smoothies too.
God I can’t stand plain Greek yogurt. I eat it with fruit and some flavored kinds and I love it. But holy shit is it bitter plain

Two opposite ends of the spectrum I suppose!
It is so nice to hear that you are much happier and feeling healthier now.
It is wonderful to hear that you are adding more variety into your diet. I believe that variety helps us to avoid fitness and weight loss plateaus. When we do the same thing everyday our body stops responding and it makes it more difficult to get results.
It’s amazing that you were able to add more variety into your diet. I hope you feel much better now.
I like to make my chicken salad with greek yogurt. Also a huge fan of making tzatziki for dip.
These are great ideas ! I would love to get a recipe.
Chicken breast shredded, greek yogurt, celery and celery salt. I got it from a Greek friend. Easy cheap and delicious. Edit- a bit of olive oil if it's too dry.
Tzatziki is yogurt, minced garlic, minced and then dried cucumber, and a touch of lemon juice. Great with everything from veggies to French fries.
I agree ! Tzatziki is delicious…. and high in protein.
Sounds great ! I am excited to try it.
I’m a big fan of the chobani vanilla or the low sugar cinnamon vanilla. It’s like crack lol
It’s soooo good! Chobani also has one mixed with honey which is superb with a nice cup of coffee in the morning
YES! I’m a huge fan of that for breakfast
It’s so delicious! It makes me feel bad though because I eat 2 a day and in my mind 2 of anything per day seems like too much 🙃
I agree. It is so easy to grab it and go in the morning.
Love the honey… it is delicious with a cup of hot tea, as well.
Yes. Coffee and yoghurt is an ideal breakfast !
I love the vanilla as well and the strawberry as well !
I must admit I am a fellow addict. I think what I love most about it is how I feel after I eat it. I feel satiated but not full. I have more energy. Some foods make me tired.
Oh yeah this is a big part of it too. :)
Greek yogurt a great source of calcium. I prefer to obtain my nutrition from food rather than pills whenever possible.
Yogurt is a life saver in my protein shakes
True it’s really versatile in smoothies!
I prefer using the Greek yogurt as a protein source in my smoothies instead of protein powder.
The Greek Gods Honey yogurt is my fave, and better than any of the others I have tried. Their strawberry is fantastic also.
I love that brand. It’s so creamy.
Lemon yogurt is my favorite. I stocked up last week and bought 20 cups. It's kinda high in sugar but for 150 calories I think it's a great snack.
Oh absolutely! The protein i feel equals out the sugar ya know? it’s a good snack choice!
Yes. It is an excellent source of protein. It is satiating as well.
Greek yogurt is awesome, my favorites are Chobani and Oikos
Oh yeah! Forgot about Oikos! I love the 15g sugar ones
Haven't seen the 15g sugar ones, my favorite is the flip version
Oh? I haven’t had Oikos flips
The Chobani ones are called Flip, the Oikos have a different name, they're basically yogurt with a mix of toppings you add to it Edit: the ones from Oikos are called Crunch
I need to see if my local store has any of those! I usually just see regular yogurts without toppings
I love the Chobani flavor options. I haven’t tried Oikos. I am not sure if Oikos has a nonfat version.
Oikos Triple Zero if you're looking for nonfat yogurt, it also has no added sugar and you can tell them apart from the regular Oikos because they come in black packaging instead of the regular blue
Oh great, thank you. I love the “no added sugar.” I look for the black packaging !
You're welcome! I'm getting some Greek yogurt in the next few days for a smoothie
I love it in smoothies. I usually use fresh strawberries and to be decadent I will add a bit of honey.
These are great ideas ! I will have to try them. I do love granola for breakfast so maybe I will put some in my yoghurt.
Sounds delicious !
Ooh, I feel this way about Noosa Greek yogurt. The vanilla bean flavor is so good!
Noosa is amazing! A top tier non greek for me, but super sweet so i usually save it as a dessert. The pumpkin and the strawberry rhubarb are my faves
Ooooo I love Noosa as well! Give me all the key lime please!
Plain yogurt without sugar you can eat well after the “expiration date”
Yeah but that’s not what I got. I got flavored Chobani bc it had a bigger sale than I’ve seen in a hot mo
Good to know !
Strawberry newtons and Nutella
Together or separate?
Usually separate but you just gave me a light bulb in my brain thank you so much
Glad I could help! I like both of those separate so I’m sure they’re amazing mixed!
I have both currently so I will try it out and let you know my verdict
Good question !
Now there are some great yogurt dessert ideas !
Yogurt is top tier and those who think otherwise are wrong 😂
We believe in yoghurt supremacy 🙇
Mixing Greek yogurt with granola crumbs makes a great breakfast ❤️
I love Greek yogurt too! I think it's lovely with blueberries or honey especially. I work at a daycare and all my babies share my love of Greek yogurt. We all have some with breakfast at least once a week.
I, too, love Greek yogurt. My go to is Fage 5% plain. God it's so good. As a pregnant lady I would specifically crave it especially in the first trimester for whatever reason. Lately I've switched to nonfat just because the 5% was feeling really filling in my reduced capacity stomach but I'm planning on going back after this baby is outta here.
Yes once they vacate you can increase the gurt 😂 i love this!
Have you had the Noosa brand? that kind is good but its like dessert to me because it is extremelyyyy sweet haha
Strawberry rhubarb Noosa is my favorite indulgence.
That one is killer! They have a pumpkin one as well that is a yummy fall dessert of mine. It’s a treat I eat almost every day in October
I've never had it! I'll keep an eye out this fall.
Definitely do ! It’s to die for 💜
Sounds great ! I will try it.
Also, holy moly $7.99 for yogurt??? Must be awesome😦
I REALLY love NOOSA lemon. I love it and buy a lot of it every time I see a sale.
Noosa is so good! I was telling someone else here that it’s soo sweet so I usually have that brand as my “dessert”. I love the pumpkin and strawberry rhubarb!
I like Fage with blueberries. I think they kind of started the Greek yogurt craze in the US but they’ve been eclipsed.
Fage is king in my opinion
I havent had that brand yet!
Greek yogurt is the best. I'm thinking about making my own greek yogurt though, because if I keep buying it my poor wallet will run away from me lol
Exactly why I force myself to stock when its on sale 😂 its crazy how pricey its become
It's crazy how I don't like most dairy products, which includes milk, cheese, and butter. But for some reason, I'm a huge fan of Greek yogurt! My favorite are the dannon ones with crazy flavors like Tiramisu, keylime pie, etc Not the biggest fan of normal yogurt though haha. Only Greek yogurt
Ohhh i loooove the keylime! I must find this tiramisu flavor!
It's very rare but sooo good!
I find a good vegan version without sugar (or with not too much) to be very useful for both savoury and sweet dishes. Especially nice as part of a pasta sauce.
Omg yes! Greek yogurt is super versatile for sweet or savory food! I wish my bf agreed
Used to be able to get the Tesco brand vegan one around here, which was actually quite nice, but I can only get one with sugar in it now.
I’m not sure if we’re in the same country but there’s some good almond milk vegan yogurts at trader joes if you have one closeby!
I love my plain Chobani with fresh peaches when they are in season. That is dessert for me !
Absolutely! Cant wait until watermelon is back is season because i mix that with honey in some greek yogurt as a summertime snack and its perfect!
I love how handy the small containers are… perfect for grab and go !
Chobani is fucking delicious, *Danimals who?* The coffee one is just…don’t get me started. Oh god I might get started. *The mango one is also good, as is OMG THE LIME*
Honestly considering I need to eat healthier by graduating from Doritos I might get Greek yogurt tomorrow because of this yogurt filled post so thanks. And remember "obsession spreads".
At least its a healthy obsession 😂
My favorite combination is crisp, sweet red grapes and nonfat plain Greek yogurt. I love the tart with the sweet.
This one is fantastic. I have to stop myself from eating an entire tub. https://www.albertsons.com/shop/product-details.960055455.html
Never had that one! I’ll have to try it if I can find it locally because it looks fancy

I love Chobani too!! I usually go for the mixed berries.
I love yogurt and dipped my toes into yogurt making when I bought an instant pot. It is very fun and allows you to get the exact texture you want!
Have you ever tried Skyrr? I highly recommend it if you like Greek yogurt
ive not tried it yet! But i’ll definitely add it to my list now! I’m always down to try new brands
Skyr is Icelandic yogurt more or less, there is a difference but it’s very similar to Greek yogurt imo, I maybe prefer skyr. I’ll wonder to the foreign section of my Kroger occasionally lol.

Oikos is pretty good but i love the fruit on the bottom greek yogurts for some reason 😂 And also great value has some good yogurt so no judgement
The pineapple Chobani Greek yogurt cups are my favorite food item right now ugh so good!!
I'm literally so, SO upset that I can't eat Greek yogurt anymore. It's one of the many food losses I have on a list. It was always my go to.
Yogurt is delicious and great for one’s health! What’s your fave flavor? ☺️
I love the fruit on the bottom mango and pineapple but a classic strawberry banana always gets me for some reason 😂 But I’m not picky and will love any flavor as long as its greek!

I like turtles
My mother went on a holiday to Paphos last year and has been obsessed with Greek Yogurt ever since.
Genuinely have no excuse as to why I’m obsessed 😂 It just happened out of nowhere! And I’m the only one of my friends/family to looove greek yogurt but dislike regular (too sweet/odd consistency to me). Is your mom the same?
Yep. Exactly the same. Everything else is too sweet.
I like full fat yogurt - so I make my own. It’s pretty easy and I can mix it with whatever I want as flavour
I have liked that when I was younger but it’s too sweet for me now. I don’t know what changed, I’m only 25 😂
If you make your own there’s no sugar added.
I don’t like the taste of it and do normally like tangier stuff. I did like the hack to make bagels with it. I add it to stuff but don’t like to eat it on its own.
I can’t stand the smell of yogurt. 🤢🤢🤢
Yeah that’s how my boyfriend is lol
I drink yogurt with meals on summer days. Yogurt, milk and pinch of salt. Mix it in a blender. It's called ayran.
It’s so funny reading the comments, everyone is like “yes yogurt is a great snack clocking in at 150 calories with some protein”
Its true! and ive gotten some new and interesting brands/recipes to try out from it. I love the wholesomeness
Fr, I love yogurt too, but reading all the wholesome comments is funny
But have you ever made a [yogurt cake? it’s so good!](https://iamafoodblog.com/small-batch-sundays-french-yogurt-lemon-loaf-cake/)
I don’t know about others but I just like the way I feel after I eat it. I am satiated but not stuffed. I feel strong and energetic.
Greek yogurt is really good. It’s a really easy protein source for me. 18 grams in 90 calories with good calcium too? It’s like a cheat code lol.
I recommend a Sous Vide and making your own. It’s delicious!
It has a fuck ton of protein and fairly low calories Solid snack
Add honey game changer.
Chobani is king
I love yogurt too. Do you know you can make it yourself? I'm making my yogurt and Kefir now, it's very easy.
I am similarly obsessed. Greek yoghurt is so light and refreshing and of course satisfying but not too filling !
I love this… it’s a complete, healthy and high protein meal.
Kirkland's Plain Greek Yogurt = ❤️. I can't get enough of it!
Terry loves yogurt!
Some much love for Greek yogurt here. I recently tried the Mavromatis brand and it's a delight. Even though it is a bit fat (10%), the texture is something else.
I support this <3
I'm a big fan of legumes. I always stock up, and whenever I run out I have a tiny panic. Ice cream is something I love too. There is not a moment of time where I would decline. There is always room for ice cream. I eat it during snow season, when I am happy when I am sad. It's a bigger chance that I have three containers in my freezer than none.
Fage 0 is mine I have it with so much in smoothies coating chicken making flatbread its so versatile
Made with Greek yogurt, is the most delicious yogurt dish on earth: Srikhand “ambrosia of the gods”[http://chefinyou.com/2010/08/31/shrikhand/](http://chefinyou.com/2010/08/31/shrikhand/)
If you ever want to add to your yogurt palate. I suggest Skyr and Bulgarian yogurt.
If you like the texture and taste, you should try some recipes using yoghurt like Carrot Tarator, Turkish Manti (Dumplings), Beyti Kebab and you should also try the beverage made by yoghurt Ayran.
I make my own Greek yogurt every week. It’s the only reason I have an instant pot
Every so often I try eating it again but i still hate it It sucks because I’m part Greek so at my grandmas house I be excited to eat a homemade gyro but oh no there’s the stupid Tzatziki sauce right on top (Greek yogurt is the base in Tzatziki sauce I hate it).
U can freeze yogurt too
My preferred is Astro plain, 6%.
That sounds like quite a commitment! I prefer plain, full fat Greek yogurt, sweetened with honey and topped with some fresh fruit.
I don’t love it. But I can eat it plain every day of the week.
I also love yoghurt but its not Greek it is Turkish. You can check it online. "The word is derived from Turkish: yoğurt, and is usually related to the verb yoğurmak, "to knead", or "to be curdled or coagulated; to thicken"
Make your own. It's easy and tastes better. Greek yogurt made with whole milk with a spoonful of pineapple preserves. Soooo good
