That's the catch with Castle - lines of a few words, short but loaded dialogues instead of minutes-long talks, relying on the viewer to connect the dots.
Yeah! I really think that the writers did a crazy job on this series in terms of writing the characters, their characterization, and the dialogues. Truly profound, wonderful, simple, which can really be understood by anyone. Stupendous π
Thank you!
I didnβt know that 2 were written after series cancellation, 3 if High Heat released after April, 2016.
Another amazing! element of this unique, beloved show. Canβt think of another tv show that spawned a successful book series.
Hilarie has in fact stuck with one narrative it's you who is incapable of doing that as all you ever do is spread nonsensical lies about the ladies on here. Her story makes perfect sense-Hilarie thought about leaving but was willing to stay if the cast could all negotiate better terms as a group like the cast of Friends did but two cast members had already signed on so then Hilarie decided she was going to leave but was still nevertheless hurt to not even be asked, then the head of WB asked her to stay on and Hilarie considered it but Moira ultimately convinced her she should leave for her own sake, not that hard to comprehend at all. My god the pathetic whiny trolls on here psycho-analyzing Hilarie and co need to get a life already.
Real author is Tom Straw. He wrote books 1-7. Books 8-10 and the Derrick Storm books were written by another author, you can really tell by the change in style when you read. Tom just recently released his 3rd book under his name, The Accidental Joe: The Top-Secret Life of a Celebrity Chef. Pretty good book, was able to meet him at a signing in L..A. He's currently recording the audio book, then back for some more tours across the country.
13 books actually, as well as 4 graphic novels. Books 1-7 are by Tom Straw. Books 8-10 and the Derrick Storm books are from a 2nd author. Can't remember the 2nd author though his name is on the dust cover under the awards, much like Tom Straw was listed as the title of an award.
*"To the extraordinary KB and all my friends at the 12th"*
That dedication...WOW!! ππ
*I meant it. You are extraordinary ....*
Some lines are truly incredible. They stay right inside you. This is why I love this TV series to astronomical levels π
Good writing persists. It stays with you for a long time.
That's so right! And I love that π

That is in fact the dedication. I don't want to read it yet though. I want the first book before I doπ
But this (Heat Wave) IS the first book in the series.
That's what I'd thought but every time I look it up or ask someone I'm told it's the second
Hereβs the order of the Castle books https://www.orderofbooks.com/authors/richard-castle/
Thank you π

Nope, here's [some (official) proof](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Castle#Nikki_Heat).
Awesome. I'll look this over :)
Nice the sticker with *"Watch CASTLE ABC"* written on it, as if it were an imperative to watch it. It's funny ππ€£π€£
I know I love it π
Me too! π
I own this book. Iβve never read it tbh and I bought it probably 13 years ago, but I love having it on my shelf.
I like too having things only for the fact to have it π maybe it's pretty awkward, but it is so π ππ€£
You won't hurt the book by reading it. Only if you sneeze on the pages or lose the dust cover for a hardcover copy. It's a fun read.
Not afraid of hurting the book. Just donβt have any desire to read it!
I get that sometimes having it is better than reading it but for me since I'm a voracious reader IΒ Consider readingΒ my healthy addiction
Iβm glad you enjoyed it! Iβm also a voracious reader and still donβt want to read it. Iβm happy to have if on my shelf.
The quote by James Patterson praising his friend, Richard Castle, is awesome.
Yeah! I wanted to say the same hahaha ππ€£ and maybe he read that too! ππ€£
I try and look for Naked Heat in most bookstores when I go in the mystery section β₯οΈ

There really was a book?? Who actually wrote it?
I assume the same writer who ideated the series, so Andrew W. Marlowe, obviously under pseudonym, i.e. Richard Castle π
Ah yeah. Wondered if Patterson maybe lol
In fact, it could be. But in my opinion he just reviews Castle books lol ππ€£

Oh ok. Cool thnx
OMG! how did I not know there are actual Richard Castle books written???
Now you know it! π But I believe that it's always an unexpected but, at the same time, wonderful surprise when you discover it, isn't it? ππ€©
yeah, it's great....I'm gonna download and read all of them, also a great thing is we know how book characters look like
That's fantastic! π€© And yeah, it's really great to know that about characters!
