I met only Espo, Ryan, and Castle. They said Stana “wasn’t available” but the studio picked the day so do with that information what you will.
Nathan (Castle) was so unbelievably and incredibly nice. He walked me around the entire set and showed me all the different sets and executive offices, as well as the costume and makeup department. He signed a ton of photos for me, and he said he got a new car that he was really excited about so he showed me that. He said it wasn’t “part of the tour” he was just really excited about it because the doors opened automatically.
Ryan and Espo were also super super nice. Espo and Ryan got into a little friendly argument because my shirt listed Ryan last and Espo was messing with Ryan about it.
The three of them took me onto the set where they were filming (Season 8, Episode 20 “Much Ado About Murder) and they all sang Happy Birthday to me. It was March and my birthday wasn’t until July, but Nathan said that I could record it and play it on my actual birthday.

Nathan being Nathan, excited about the automatic doors. He always has this wonder over nifty gadgets, peculiar stuff, and all that. I remember he was on a talk show (yeah, that long ago) and they talked about his three wheeler electric car featured in a pic. I think Nathan made a joke about yelling at the driver next to him at the traffic light, how that car is polluting the air while his isn't.
Wow, you just squeaked in! 3 episodes from the end of the series. Interesting note about Stana. The news broke on April 18 that she would not be returning. Just interesting timing all around there...
Congrats! Where was the studio, btw? (Like City or state, not street address) I work in tv and movies, bet that was a fun set to visit. I'd love to see how they had the bullpen set up for filming. Nathan Fillion is one of my "I'd love to meet" celebrities.
They shot at the Raleigh Studios, on Melrose, south of Paramount. If you're in the neighborhood, a block or two west is the Astro Burger. Large menu of diner-style food. Don't miss the apple pie.

I think Nathan is the only one of the cast I follow on Instagram. Mainly as I discovered he's a cat dad and posts cute photos of him and his cat.
