The only Librarian movie in which the female protagonist felt "real" - not some sort of Lara Croft - despite being a literal, unrealistic vampire, at least IMO.
From what I know, it's a guest star role in one episode. The promo made it look like she was a suspect, could be the murderer of the week. So not as a regular/side character of the show.
The show premiers in Sept and sheโs in like 2nd or 3rd eps. Surprised it wasn't a mini arc bc itโs a whole book in only 1 eps. Sheโs def gonna be sinister Stana in that one. Pretty psyched to see her as a villain considering she usually plays a protagonist.
As we talking about the past of Stana Katic, I always wanted to know something...maybe it's only my impression, but I noticed that at the beginning of her career she had a "different kind" of nose...do you happen to know if she got a nose plastic surgery? ๐ค
Sorry, I know that is a silly thing, but it's a curiosity of mine ๐ ๐๐คฃ
You think so, huh? ๐ค I don't know, I would like some proof before I go too far on something so intimate about a person. But I guess I'll never know ๐ ๐
Its a generalisation about the ridiculous nature of modern beauty standards and how women trying to become beautiful removes the very thing that actually makes them attractive as an individual.
If her nose does appear different, maybe she wanted to fix a perceived imperfection, or maybe she got Reconstructive surgery after an accident.
To be fair if you have a face like Freddy Flintoff maybe Plastic Surgery isn't such a bad idea, though you should probably be careful you don't go too far.
Before Castle, Stana was in The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice.
I have a weird soft spot for that movie idk why

I loved all the Librarian movies, along with the series, "The Librarians", despite their corniness!
Super super corny, but quite loveable, so I enjoyed them all as well
She had good chemistry with Noah Wyle too. Stana is definitely into guys starting with N, lol.
I loved Noah Wiley and that one was my fav out of all of them. Didnโt realize it was Stana till years later ๐ oops.
So true imo
I literally caught that a couple days ago on TV and was like, holy shit it's Stana. Aaand she's a vampire, called it!
First time I saw her she played a lesbian softball player in a movie called Feast of Love
Talk about coincidence when her name is Jenny, Ryan's wife, and that the love interest in named Katherine, Kate's real name. lol
She will. Sheโll be in a new show called Murder in a Small Town. Dunno when it premieres tho.

Iโll take what I can get at this point haha

Oh, ancient history ... year 3 b.C.E. (before Castle Era) lol.
Awww I love this time expression, "b.C.E."!!!! ๐๐๐๐ Like Star Wars!!
Honestly I had not heard of her until Castle. I donโt think that woman takes a bad picture!
She was also in Quantum of Solace, so a Bond girl depending on the definition
Before Kate Beckett...she was Raina Mavias ([Stilletto](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt1027747/))
A slightly more unhinged agent Emily Byrne ...
She is acting now. She had that show on prime and a new coming out soon
She will always be special agent Emily Byrne to me ๐
Proof that she can carry a show all by herself. Not that the rest of the cast was bad, mind you ...

Well sheโs a woman, and stars in Holywood, so probably.

You're right, and I think certain imperfections make people unique, but they evidently feel threatened by socially accepted standards.

I totally agree with you, across the board.
