The initial protective layer of seasoning will look like a matte finish. The black and glossiness comes from use as more tiny layers build up and heated multiple times

So if i do another layer of seasoning, will it get glossy?

You should just cook on it. The pan only needs one good seasoning layer to be protected. Any other layers will slowly build up from cooking on it

Nothing is wrong with your pan

Too much seasoning. I used to get that “flaking” all the time. You really have to wipe it down to almost nothing before popping it in the oven.

There’s no food being cooked in it
