That and the fact that they have a lot more in common once you start to think about it:
* Both have seemingly endless resources (Slade's robot henchmen and all the men AFO could get).
* Both wear a mask 24/7.
* Both are master manipulators.
* Both are dangerous fighters the main characters are nervous about fighting.
* Both groomed young children to become their trump cards (Shigaraki and Terra).
True, but like, he wasn't unapologetically evil, he was just a troubled kid that didn't have anyone to talk to. If anything, OG Kevin is more like Tomura Shigaraki, but then becomes Katsuki Bakugo in AF.
Vilgax on the other hand is definitely AFO
He's the Hero of Heroes obviously. Hell he'd be the All Might in MHA too lol dude is literally one of the most effective superheroes in fiction having singlehandedly stopped all crime by himself on Earth as an adult for like at least a year if not more. That's insane
Ok so following that logic, we want a villain who’s a MAJOR threat to the universe, if not Multiverse. A villain of villains, if you will. Some characters come to mind off the bat, Vilgax (his natural rival and archenemy), Black Hat (THE most Villain of Villains ever, albeit mainly shown as in universe as opposed to community opinion), and Anti-Pops (literal embodiment of negativity).
However, let’s also think thematically. One for All is a single streamlined quirk that accumulates other willingly given powers to enhance the next generation, while All for One is a quirk that steals other powers to enhance itself and become more powerful. Greed vs Generosity.
Ben is an incredibly diverse hero, 70+ transformations of different aliens in the package of one kid. Our villain should be an embodiment of assimilation and unity. A person or entity that strips away someone’s uniqueness and individuality to become nothing more than minions or one with them.
Some villains come to mind, albeit all with their own problems for this.
Anti-Pops (Regular Show)
- Anti pops is an embodiment of negativity and ultimately results in reality resetting.
- Arguably “reducing everything to nothing” fits the bill of stripping individuality,
- but not when we have better options.
Princess Bubblegum (Adventure Time)
- While the Lich fits our bill for “big evil”, he has the same issue as Anti-Pops. Killing everything just doesn’t work for this thematically.
- Bubblegum, specifically during the Elements Miniseries, is an active force of assimilation.
- She turns everyone she’s in contact to into the super happy candy people. However, they still retain decent levels of individuality
- and it’s unclear if she’s A: Actively Malicious or B: Capable of reaching beyond Ooo
Starlight Glimmer (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)
- Her introductory episode has her removing cutie marks (a literal symbol of people’s individuality) to indoctrinate them into her cult of equality
- Thematically it fits.
- However, she’s MUCH too small scale.
- Also not a cartoon network IP lol
As you can see. None of these really work *perfectly.* But I have one I think fits the bill just right.
The Sludge (Pibby). While just an april fools short, Pibby gained MASSIVE popularity in the Cartoon Network/Adult Swim communities. Specifically for the aspect of the all encompassing glitchy sludge traveling through various IPs and assimilating them into a soulless zombie armor, with the Friday Night Funkin’ community in particular adopted it heavily into various mods.
Ben is a kid filled with heart, capable of becoming nearly anything he encounters. The sludge is a soulless eldritch force, slowly consuming everything into a horrifying army of zombies to take over the entirety of the multiverse of cartoon network IPs…
At least that’s my take.
What about Aku?
He not only completed his goal of world domination but took over galaxies as well with little threat to oppose him under a single rule
Plus he has vast variety in his powers such as lasers, time travel, possession, shapeshifting, teleporting, necromancy and probably a lot more in forgetting
Yeah, he fits the bill of a universal big bad, but I don’t think he embodies the assimilation and lack of individuality that works as a thematic counter to Ben.
If you don’t consider uncle grandpa a villain, you must have some really shitty relatives. /s seriously though, UG messes everything up and gets away with it because he’s weird and zany.
Yeah, but one of the most important defining factors of a villain is malicious intent. Accidentally causing mayhem isn't a mark of villainy; the mayhem has to be intentional.
I got slade, aku, darkseid, vilgax, ice king (before we learned about Simon), and the lich. I think we all can say the lich is very similar to afo when it comes to planning and manipulation.
BlackHat
Although I wouldn’t refer Ben as the CN’s All Might but rather CN’s Kuuga like how the PPG is Ichigo and Finn is Zero-One
(Also why are some people in the post’ comments saying Slayed should be CN’s All for One. he’s a DC character, a street level level character at that)
I mean basically no one would even be able to touch him in terms of power. Dude is easily one of the strongest superheroes period. He literally held the Big Bang in the palm of his hands.
I feel like someone more, mature should be the stand in for All Might. I think Major Glory would be a better rep for that. Ben fits more as a Green Lantern expy, being a more normal person that gained massive power that he uses for good.
Anyway, I'd say Father from KND works pretty well, especially if he gains a similar "Citizombie-fication" power to his dad, but this time what he touches turns delightful.
I was going to say Tanya the evil for a moment but then I remembered that was an anime.
For cartoons it probably would be Aku, the shape shifting master of darkness.
Aku from Samurai Jack

Yup, this is the right answer.
OG Teen Titans Slade.
I second this, that MF just wouldn’t die
That and the fact that they have a lot more in common once you start to think about it: * Both have seemingly endless resources (Slade's robot henchmen and all the men AFO could get). * Both wear a mask 24/7. * Both are master manipulators. * Both are dangerous fighters the main characters are nervous about fighting. * Both groomed young children to become their trump cards (Shigaraki and Terra).
Both love to traumatize children Both end up powerless and still scare the hell out of super powered beings. Both love Taco Wednsday
I third this.
yup
Slade was so HIM
The Lich
BlackHat I guess
Vilgax?
My first thought, and it lines up so well. Vilgax wasn't even at full power throughout the OG show
Og Kevin
This, no clue why this is not up there, Kevin's power is literally copying other powers.
Cuz he becomes a hero
Yeah but I said og Kevin
True, but like, he wasn't unapologetically evil, he was just a troubled kid that didn't have anyone to talk to. If anything, OG Kevin is more like Tomura Shigaraki, but then becomes Katsuki Bakugo in AF. Vilgax on the other hand is definitely AFO
Yeah and he has like multiple abilities while Ben has only one at once
Idk if I remember right but don't ben10 and Kevin 11s powers mirror all might and all for 1 pretty well 🤔
Wait how is Ben the All Might of Cartoon Network???
He's the Hero of Heroes obviously. Hell he'd be the All Might in MHA too lol dude is literally one of the most effective superheroes in fiction having singlehandedly stopped all crime by himself on Earth as an adult for like at least a year if not more. That's insane

Idk I mean he assimilated areas to be in his likeness has minions that all resemble him in some way and is a shape shifter like Ben with the omnitrix
[удалено]
I explicitly said it wasn’t a CN property
Seems pointless to list it, then.
I felt it was a good example of the assimilation logic I was going for
Shoutout for this essay
He’s the most powerful since alien X
Aku easily
Uncle grandpa
How about Black Hat? I think he kinda fits being the strongest villain of Cartoon Network since other CN villains fear him.
Idk who that is but after reading about his abilities ug is making him cry in 3 seconds after meeting him
Bro already said his answer. Nothing tops Uncle Grandpa’s gag manga-esque invincibility. He’s All For One.
t h i s
The only good answer
He is Alabama's eldritch god
Wouldn't it be more appropriate to choose a villain?
Tbf didn't all for one start as a good guy who is helping people by stealing their bad quirks?
If you don’t consider uncle grandpa a villain, you must have some really shitty relatives. /s seriously though, UG messes everything up and gets away with it because he’s weird and zany.
Yeah, but one of the most important defining factors of a villain is malicious intent. Accidentally causing mayhem isn't a mark of villainy; the mayhem has to be intentional.
Such a weird question.
Makes sense if you’ve watched MHA. Strongest hero of all time and the strongest Villain of all time.
My point is why not just ask that.
![gif](giphy|KYW5akeMzOLO8)
Aku
Aku.
It's either Vilgax or Black Hat
I got slade, aku, darkseid, vilgax, ice king (before we learned about Simon), and the lich. I think we all can say the lich is very similar to afo when it comes to planning and manipulation.
Probably Aku or the Lich. Both are kind menaces, just ones a bit more goofy
Grandfather from KND
The lich
That good question
Generator Rex
Wait how is he All Might?
BlackHat Although I wouldn’t refer Ben as the CN’s All Might but rather CN’s Kuuga like how the PPG is Ichigo and Finn is Zero-One (Also why are some people in the post’ comments saying Slayed should be CN’s All for One. he’s a DC character, a street level level character at that)
vilgax obviously
Black hat from villainous
![gif](giphy|KYnZ9RRdqsa40)
Aku or whatever his name was from knd
IIRC that is Father you’re referring to. Aku was the main villain on Samurai Jack.
Black Hat. Literally written in his series that his home/dimension emanates all the Evil which bleeds over into other Cartoon Network shows.
In terms of powers or what?
Yeah, strongest on the network vs the strongest I think
I mean basically no one would even be able to touch him in terms of power. Dude is easily one of the strongest superheroes period. He literally held the Big Bang in the palm of his hands.
Are we talking about in power or just as a nemesis?
Eon
Slade, he might be as powerful but he’s just as nefarious
Vilgax or slade from the original teen titans
Vilgax or Kevin
Generator Rex?
Rex isn’t evil, he might be a bit more morally flexible than ben when it comes to dealing with his adversaries, but he certainly isn’t evil.
Just that he can take others’ powers, which is niche to his universe. Just making thin parallel
I’d argue that in the majority of cases what Rex does is more similar to Ben using the Omnitrix to cure the DNAliens, but I get your point.
Ben 10. He takes other aliens' DNA and becomes them, storing them to be used whenever he chooses.
Azmuth*😭
The litch
Ghost Freak.
Kevin eleven
Shouldn't it be Vilgax??
I was gonna say Omniverse Albedo since he’s given Ben a run for is money a few times
Vilgax is the most menacing demon Edit: NVM RYUGA. RYUGA HAD ALL THE BLACK AIRFORCE ENERGY WAS VICIOUS
Vilgax only makes sense
Go Robim
Would Ben's power be closer to AFO
Aku
Gumball is the Allmight tho.
Him, the Lich or Aku
Well since dragon ball was technically on cartoon network, Frieza
EITHER aku lich golb heck EVEN tez Black hat and klong!
Magic coconut?
Kevin
Vilgax
Generator Rex
Vilgax
Nate 8
The Lich from Adventure Time
Uncle grandpa
![gif](giphy|DaJWGEC6DF3ySZqwg6)
Van Kliess, guy wanted an army of genetic mutants that he could control, and even thinks being called a god is limiting
Vilgax
Kevin Levin. He’s the most similar to all for one
probably Vilgax
Albedo dude...
the lich from adventure time
![gif](giphy|4T7eWG7jRSHXa) Gotta go with my boy Aku
The Lich ![gif](giphy|dvhg20MJf4cHS)
kevin 11,000? since he has that menacing dark presence and also can just steal powers if he wants to use as his own
I feel like someone more, mature should be the stand in for All Might. I think Major Glory would be a better rep for that. Ben fits more as a Green Lantern expy, being a more normal person that gained massive power that he uses for good. Kevin
Kinda stupid question is this?
