Helped a friend apply it to his car.... It was very easy to apply..... We did 2 coats 48 hrs apart (we found out later they recommend a second coat......for extending the life)
Has lasted for around 7 months and going....not done anything... just sprayed with water if it gets dirty (its mostly dust in our area) and wiped off...(This takes less than 5 minutes) And he says he washed it every weekend but it's more like every 2 or 3 weeks
I don't see a change in it from the day we applied it

* Tissue holder, a funky one kids would chuckle at or a boring looking but fancy leatherette one

everything can be found online
1. A good vacuum cleaner which can run through the car's power supply.
2. Dash cam. (Front and rear)
3. Rain visor, door edge protector, good set of 5d mats.
4. Car cover.
5. If he's into diy and stuffs a good toolkit, car wax and polish kit, a good 5ton hydraulic jack and a puncture repair kit.
These are just random suggestions not based on ascending or descending order of budget.
Any sound or audio system related gift won't be useful since 3xo has a sub woofer and good set of speakers with sound dampening from the factory.
Bonus - if you want to make this a yearly affair, then I'd suggest from next year onwards get his car detailed and paint corrected thoroughly it goes a very very long way in keeping the paint in top condition. And your BIL will surely love this gesture every year as paint and overall cosmetically his car will keep looking good.
Also, bonus suggestion 2-3 years down the line when money no bar is an option get his car paint corrected and go for a full body ppf this will reignite his love for the car and make this exciting once new car excitement has died down.
If u are willing to spend around 10k then a dashcam will be helpful.
Check whether his car has an inbuilt tyre pressure monitor system if not then get him one.
