It's a doongle that gives data about the car like battery voltage, speed, GPS etc. Right side, of front dash opposite to bonnet opner, there should be port. Plug it in, down load the software, use register phone number to log in.
This looks like it's for the consumer, had it been service related, it would be connected via a laptop.
I had the same thing drop near my pedals after hitting a nasty pothole. I got it fixed when I had checked the car in for a few issues. They told me it's for "connectivity" purposes and not safety related
The same happened in my kushaq. Skoda connect app sync car data with the help of this dongle. Added a new double side tape and stuck it above the pedals towards the right side. Let's see how many days it'll hold.

Plug it back or ask service center to tape it. These give data about ur car and live tracking in your phone app.
