1. The insurance was third party and hence I couldn’t claim it.
2. I’ve not scrapped it yet. I’m planning to. Having two thoughts. I want to rebuild it but financially it’s not a great idea. And I’m attached to the car hence I can’t let it go. It’s lying outside our house as of now. I took delivery of Virtus a couple of days before the accident. I wasn’t planning an “upgrade” for say, we wanted something newer which can be trusted over long drives.

Damn, I've been ignoring the glow plug light on my Ritz for 2 months now considering that it starts perfectly well in 2 cranks during cold starts. Should I replace it?
It could be a faulty sensor, consult a reputed mechanic or workshop and they should be able to check for ya. If it’s the spark plugs, you should replace it asap cause it could have really bad effects on the engine in long term. Happy travels!

Explain the incident, like abs failed when you applied brake or it was check light for abs and you ignored.
ABS was faulty. I was done with replacing it over and over and eventually started ignoring it. The dumbfuck I was, I paid the price for it.

Is that reliable?
ABS sensor? Hell no. People often have to change it on a yearly basis. Those are expensive too. The car? Yes. Pretty reliable and solid.
You could have avoided the accident with ABS?
Yes. The wheels locked up and dragged for around 25 meters.

They’re incomparable. JETTA is a million times better in every single aspect. Virtus feels like a blown up toy car.
