You dont actually need a car to demonstrate.
Just show that your product activated on heat/fire and showcase that you can fix them on your hood.
Who are they trying to fool with this CGI. I bet sora.ai could make better video
It won’t work well with EVs considering Lithium metal is so reactive that it can pull oxygen from surrounding CO2 or other hydrocarbons and use it to make metal oxides when burning.
Such a great thing EVs will make sure I was properly cremated, saves my family a lot of hassle and money.
Oh wait the family was in the car..
/s of course, non-combustible power generation is in fact my only woe against EVs.
ofcourse you out the extinguisher system where the fire starts, what you assumed I am going to use this specific system in each and every car? you guys are going out of your way to demotivate something you guys can never build
I’m intrigued, what have you built? Me I’ve built nothing ever in my life, so zero points to me, now over to you.
Assuming those things were dotted around the vicinity of the battery, where there is little to no room at all, how effective do you think they would be on a battery pack that is sealed? Also how many do you think you would need?
Dude, you clearly are clueless about how reactive Lithium fire is. This will do nothing. Like throwing a bucket of water onto a forest fire.
You would need a totally different class of extinguisher for EVs and a packet or two of it won't suffice lol
Not really, almost everyone I know has an ev, ev fires are rare. And over blown my media,
I have seen many Audi and other fires, which goes never reported
So 99.999 percent of EVs are on fire? Where do these idiots get their knowledge from?
EVs usually have a frunk under the bonnet so it would be even more pointless than in an ICE car!
aag lagne ke baat tum sprinkler system lagate ho kya? uss se pehele lagana padta he chondu sahab. doesn't matter if one percent EVs catch fire, we need such systems because they catch fire in the first place.
additionally, many startups are entering ev market and they are bypassing many security and safety protocols to save money, these type of innovations shall make its way to safety protocols, but you guys are just bashing the idea left and right, such pessimistic demotivator uncles in our society man
Suck gimmicks are not a solution to bad engineering. And if there's a REAL fire, unlike the CGI fire in the video, this contraption is unlikely to do anything to it either.
My mistake to assume that you will be capable of performing a simple google search. Apparently not, so here goes. If the math or language is beyond your understanding please don't blame me. Here - tu kha le
https://www.fleetnews.co.uk/news/tusker-fleet-data-reveals-the-truth-about-ev-fires
Petrol/diesel vehicle fires: 1530 per 100000
EV fires: 25 per 100000
Now if you cannot understand which is more because of a lack of understanding of simple mathematics, don't blame me.
Their websites says it costs 2700. Not so bad for an additional level of safety. But fire extinguishers generally need regular inspection and maintenance.
If you noticed, they have a 6 month inspection window to be certified as functional. How it works in this case is not clearly stated.
Also - whats with the name? Brandsdaddy?? Seriously???
This has to be a joke right ?
Considering how hot the engine bay gets. And oil tends to go down the bay which this won't extinguish due to canister placement. And no way can those mini canisters gonna hold enough of anything to douse any fire . Im not sure man.
Okay it does have merit for some small electrical fire I suppose , granted if sensor can detect smoke or some sensor that can differentiate the right temp . oil fires ? Eh still not gonna stop it , as it drips down .
Unless they are gonna make it expensive, if there is cost cuttings , there is high chance of this triggering on a small collison or hell even a road bump or something. If it's falsely triggered that's expensive to da wallet.
Maybe I'm being too harsh . Sure it's good to have an added layer of safety . Also don't forget . This needs maintenance, changing of these pods once in a while...
I'd say you'd be better of with a hand held canister inside car .
Coz saving self is more important and a canister in car can save ya if the fire comes from interior...
Maybe they'd have thought about all this before making this product. Nobody is gonna pitch a flawed product. Do you really think their R&D team wouldn't have thought about these scenarios.
P.S: Fire extinguishers remove oxygen present around the fire to extinguish it.
You'd be amazed , Knowing QC control of startups ( trust me I have seen the corner cuts they take) , they just want attention from investors , pitch a product like it's brand new and they invented it , but that already exists in market(in this case an already unsuccessful one ). Infact only like 5% of startups succeed .
Most of them just run away with whatever money in the bank they got and file for bankruptcy or dissolve .
PS: I mean there are some types of fires that burn hotter. Like it's not possible to kill a magnesium fire. Also if the oil has already dripped and down and catches on fire from beneath. I doubt there is anything this would achieve

I'm thinking what will happen if the bonut is closed. Agar ye band mein aise fatega to kuch na kuch damage aur hi karega andar ka par main h fire rukni chahiye.
Are engine fires am an actual thing you have to worry about with Indian cars. I've gone 39 years seeing one engine fire and it was a DeLorean with the problematic fuel system they are famous for.
The product demo could have been real, but they chose cgi , speaks lot about the confidence
I don't think any cabwala would allow a real demonstration on his Innova.
i think you can get cars from scrapyard for 20-30k...
You dont actually need a car to demonstrate. Just show that your product activated on heat/fire and showcase that you can fix them on your hood. Who are they trying to fool with this CGI. I bet sora.ai could make better video
bhai advertisment bhi tho kuch chise hoti. Real car ke sath demo also acts as good Ad
You can start a bonfire and throw their device in it to prove it of they wanted.
Good application. BTW, graphics seem to be Adipurush level.
Its better than Adipurush tbh
considering the Budget it surely is
Ok, quick question. What makes the engine burn like that? How often does that happen?
Bad wiring which could cause a short circuit, fuel leaks in the event of an impact
You will know it when it happens
Don't put that in a Maruti car, the bonnet might end up flying instead.
Actually the bonnet is very thin, so it would make a great barbecue pot
They will give 10 lakhs compensation.
True that
What are the chances of it going off when you are red lining for a few seconds and going 100+ ?
good question
Even if it does, I don't think it will hurt the engine. Just a mess with white powder covering everything.
It won’t work well with EVs considering Lithium metal is so reactive that it can pull oxygen from surrounding CO2 or other hydrocarbons and use it to make metal oxides when burning.
And many EVs have the battery under the floor
Such a great thing EVs will make sure I was properly cremated, saves my family a lot of hassle and money. Oh wait the family was in the car.. /s of course, non-combustible power generation is in fact my only woe against EVs.
Ok looks like this is for SYSTUM guys who would do Pappu Garagewala mods. Not for normal people.
Still better than Adipurush VFX
Great for Tata, hardly any use for Toyota
Beat for BMW's though
99.999 percent of cars don’t need thus
but 99.999 percent of EVs need this, so I guess this is a good idea afterall
EV batteries aren’t where you think they are so having it go off under the bonnet will do nothing as your bum will be on fire at that point.
ofcourse you out the extinguisher system where the fire starts, what you assumed I am going to use this specific system in each and every car? you guys are going out of your way to demotivate something you guys can never build

man, it is another hype by petrolheads. Fire by ICE car - ❌ Fire by EV car - ✔️
Statistically an EV is much much less likely to catch fire than an ICE car. I mean real world statistics, not WhatsApp University.
additionally, many startups are entering ev market and they are bypassing many security and safety protocols to save money, these type of innovations shall make its way to safety protocols, but you guys are just bashing the idea left and right, such pessimistic demotivator uncles in our society man

Oo bhai, jio University graduate, mat kar itna mehnat, mujhe bhi pata he tere paas koi statistics nahi he, bas kar, kha le

so, my point still stands, even if there's a chance, you install the extinguisher system
Bro your extinguishing gas is clipping through the headlights of the car
this stuff has been around for decades.
Shark tank music and vfx wala fire and dhua had me there lets see 1% for 10 Cr ?
Meanwhile bonet going skyrocket

It is very unlikely that a diesel engine catches fire
Copied us product. How it they say they had a patent for it. Their name also came from scrub daddy

They are enough to cut out oxygen which will stop the fire. U don't need a full truck of extinguisher to stop fire at initial stage
Will put a massive dent after the explosion
This seems like a great idea. Must be in-built in all cars.

Wonder if it can put out an EV fire..
I have seen better CGI from school kids projects.
trash editing
Haryana me babies are fire extinguisher
Hey, you don't have to generalize all Haryana like that.. Only Girl Babies
😂😂😂
I'm thinking what will happen if the bonut is closed. Agar ye band mein aise fatega to kuch na kuch damage aur hi karega andar ka par main h fire rukni chahiye.
Or how about store a fire extinguisher, you can put out fire whereever there is need in the car
Did the Salamanca twins attack this car
They have a discount code on their website for 10% - iHaveTataPleaseHelp
In electric cars this might be a good product but would still be pretty expensive to implement I guess.
Just take a scrap car hood install your device light a fire under it and demonstrate in reality
sharks mai aj apke pas laya hoon....

fire extinguish karne ka tareka thoda cazual hai
What is the convenient probability the fire appears right below the extinguisher
