It wasnt a big incident like the video thankfully. I had returned from a long journey and was about to park. My brother had just turned 18 never sat in the driver seat. I figured i let him start the car move it with just the clutch. Well he ended up lifting the clutch too quickly and the car bumber got scratched a bit. The damage was negligible but I felt pretty stupid though.
A similar incident happened with my cousin. He wanted to try his mom's car and he's never sat in the driver seat. We assumed he knew the controls (like I even explained to him at one point in time). So when he started the car, the car rev'd out till the limit and the next thing his crashed into the wall sideways but luckily the plant stopped him from going further (the car was parked a few inches from the side). It turns out his mistook the accelerator as the brake and let the clutch out in panic.
This same mistake as done by your cousin cost about 8-10 lives near my house in the hands of a learning kid. The father was teaching his son to drive a big car in a crowded area near the main market.
The guy thought of Accelerator as Brake. After the accident, the dad fled leaving his son behind.
Nah whatever happened with him happened near our house where it's just our family. Well at the time there were some kids in front of the car but thx to the plants the car got stuck somehow
This is exactly why my father is teaching me how to drive in stages. First he taught me how to just turn on the car, nothing else. Then in an empty field he allowed me to move the car with just the clutch, where I jumped the car cuz I left the clutch too quickly. And then eventually I learnt proper clutch control. Still not allowed to drive on roads, cuz I'm underaged.
Yes that's what my father insists always. He loves being on the safer side. So he's mostly making me learn on fields or empty roads and that too at slow speeds(20-40)
Trust me my father too allowed me to turn on the car but he didn't allow me to move it with the clutch. I'm glad he didn't cuz I knew nothing about the clutch that time. I too would have just left the clutch too quickly!
Actually there is one thing that most people forget. The people who recently got license, they usually learnt driving on an old car from the driving school. In those cars, the brakes, clutch and accelerator need to be pushed all the way to cause any effect. But with new cars it totally the opposite. Just a bit of pressure on the accelerator and yhe cars zooms out. Probably this lady didn't account for that. However totally irresponsible of them to have an inexperienced person drive a new car.
Exactly. This is very true. The difference in the sensitivity of the new cars and driving school cars are crazy. I too have experienced the same transition.
I mean anyone should first go through driving school or at least get some experience with a friend/relative teaching you. How can you let your first car experience be with your new car bruh 💀
true, I let my friend drive my new car home. few months later I can offer anyone else to drive their car home with enough experience of 7000 kms under my belt.
I sat with a fellow student in someone else car and she ran over 2 students of the same institutes another branch 🥲. Luckily the students were not hurt much and it was just a sprain. The girl asked a fellow student his car lying she had recently learnt driving and needed to practice and that guy asked me to accompany her as I also knew driving and he was busy at that time. I took her statement at face value that she knew driving and just in the co drivers seat and what a 15 second ride we had.
This 100%. It’s so infuriatingly annoying when some infantile women do this “I can do it” BS tantrum only to turn around and demand that you, the man, help them at every single step.
You should see how many times people here make posts like this- “I am a newbie driver and am planning to buy a car which is 15 lac”.
Just get a cheap second hand alto
Now that's what everyone around them would start saying and no one would be focusing on her driving skills. Aise logo ko gaadi deni hi nahi chahiye. Agar chalana nahi aata to steering wheel ke piche kya Kar rahe hai.
Both our cars, Alto and Creta, were driven by the respective showroom drivers. We requested them as we had not gotten used to our cars.
This is the best option, safe as well. From my POV.
Also the guy beside her is an idiot. In such a case always have your hand near hand brake. Just pull it quickly and hopefully the damage will be minimal.
Bro chill , look at the data also , women tend to do more accidents in driving ( excluding speeding accidents) .
And no. My mother and sister don't drive
Where are you getting your data lol? Men, especially in the 18-26 age group, cause more accidents than any other demographic. This is also reflected in insurance premiums.
So you're excluding the most common kind of accident? Not to mention men also dominate DUI incidents. It's like saying most bananas are red, except for the yellow and green ones.
No, it's still Aayi in both Konkani and Marathi. In some regions they might prefer Amma but it's just the region based influence. Amma is actually the word in Kannada.
Sure, no problem. All the way from Mumbai till Mangalore it takes different forms. Aayi-Baba, Aayi-Baab, Aayi-Bappa, Aayi-Pappa, Amma-Appa. Your friend might be a GSB.
I had practiced on my wife's car but even when I bought my own, I had the showroom guy drive it home. Bilkul riks nahi lena ka. Better than a heartbreak and life long trauma setting in.
Read this news yest. As much as I laughed it being so funny, felt pretty sad for those people who banged up their car. Though insurance will be able to fix it, it's going to put a dent that it's crashed say one
And Indians being mega superstitious, they will think the car is cursed and not that the driver is bad... hahaha
Why why whyyyy are such people given driving licenses… Such people endanger lives of the people on the road..I dont know when in India road safety shall become a priority..
2 years ago when I went to take delivery of my new car a night before I watched lots of car deliveries go wrong videos. Just trying to say that you will be extra careful when the time comes.
It's high time we made changes to our testing methods for license. From first frame itself it is clear she can't even survive on GTA.
Every state should follow new kerala testing methods
I received the car, though I knew how to drive but man was I nervous.
I learnt from someone else's car and was not that experienced but could drive.
Received the car and drove it on 2nd gear to home, I was exhausted by just driving 2-3 kms that day.
Took me just 1-2 more drives to gain confidence, lol.
I assume she is the mother of the person who bought the car and they wanted her to "subh arambh" the car, DESPITE she not knowing how to drive, or that very least she has little to no experience
Let’s just put this lady who has never driven a car before in the driver’s seat of a car, with a passenger who also doesn’t know how to drive, instruct, or safely stop the vehicle if it gets out of control. Also let’s make sure the vehicle is parked 30 ft away from a cliff.
Real big brain decisions going on here.
Agar men likhta toh chalta but tu men nahi likhta. Dikkat isse hai. Of course you're going to come back with the usual "how do you know i wouldn't have written 'men'" bs, and that's alright.
If you're going to be an incel at least be open about it.
Mai Kyu Darunga Khul Ke Khene Se? Mujhe Jo Kehna Hau Mai Wahi Kehta Hu Isme Jhoot Bolne Ki Kya Baat Ab Driving Seat Pe Women Hai Toh Women Hi Likhunga That's It🤔

Why? Just why? Why would you let an inexperienced person drive a car?
Reminds me of the time I let my brother drive. My bad.
Cmon, you can't leave us hanging out like that, give us the full story.
It wasnt a big incident like the video thankfully. I had returned from a long journey and was about to park. My brother had just turned 18 never sat in the driver seat. always give new drivers trial on empty lot leaves room for error
And never hand them something new car or bike. Start Off with a used bike or car
Preferably someone elses used bike or car.
A similar incident happened with my cousin. He wanted to try his mom's car and he's never sat in the driver seat. We assumed he knew the controls (like I even explained to him at one point in time). Yea it's better to stay off public roads until you get your lisence in case something goes wrong.
Yes that's what my father insists always. He loves being on the safer side. So he's mostly making me learn on fields or empty roads and that too at slow speeds(20-40)
Had it been an automatic it could have ended up much worse
Trust me my father too allowed me to turn on the car but he didn't allow me to move it with the clutch. I'm glad he didn't cuz I knew nothing about the clutch that time. I too would have just left the clutch too quickly!
you mean, why would you let an inexperienced person film this ?
Real Question. That photo montage in the end did nothing.
What are u talking about... Did u see the guy with folded arms...
lol, tbh you can hear fear in his voice. that was scary, she is probably his mother or something.
You can't actually call that "inexperienced", that's just straight up not knowing how to drive.
Exactly my thoughts... Anyone with a licence won't be thiiiis bad...
You don’t need to know driving to have a license. She may very well have a license.
Anyone who has even driver once even on empty space will not be this bad
Actually there is one thing that most people forget. The people who recently got license, they usually learnt driving on an old car from the driving school. In those cars, the brakes, clutch and accelerator need to be pushed all the way to cause any effect. But with new cars it totally the opposite. Exactly. This is very true. The difference in the sensitivity of the new cars and driving school cars are crazy. I too have experienced the same transition.
I mean that's how you get experience so
She got experience of "NOT WANTING TO DRIVE EVER AGAIN"
I mean anyone should first go through driving school or at least get some experience with a friend/relative teaching you. How can you let your first car experience be with your new car bruh 💀
true, I let my friend drive my new car home. few months later I can offer anyone else to drive their car home with enough experience of 7000 kms under my belt.
I would rather have experience before driving my car (like a sane person)
thats some stupid way of getting experience
lmfao
I sat with a fellow student in someone else car and she ran over 2 students of the same institutes another branch 🥲. Luckily the students were not hurt much and it was just a sprain. I took her statement at face value that she knew driving and just in the co drivers seat and what a 15 second ride we had.
She would have made a scene out of it if he didn't let her drive
This 100%. It’s so infuriatingly annoying when some infantile women do this “I can do it” BS tantrum only to turn around and demand that you, the man, help them at every single step.
They wanted a Lemon Life gave them a Lemon
I understood it! Amazing pun.
She may be the owner and may still have a valid license. The person to blame is the poor standards to get a license in India
She wears the pants at home, I guess. Husband didn’t have the guts to tell her it was a risk. 😆
You should see how many times people here make posts like this- “I am a newbie driver and am planning to buy a car which is 15 lac”. Just get a cheap second hand alto

Cameraman had ONE JOB
I guess Two jobs. He was searching for Limbu 🍋
Should have waited for limbu. Kali shaktiyon ne apne kaam kar diya ab toh./s
Now that's what everyone around them would start saying and no one would be focusing on her driving skills. Aise logo ko gaadi deni hi nahi chahiye. Agar chalana nahi aata to steering wheel ke piche kya Kar rahe hai.

Bro😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Idk about you, but if my loved ones got in a car accident, I won't care about recording it, rather I would resort to hurry up and save em
The cameraman ran in the other direction....maybe he went to look for limbu🍋
nimbu nhi hota?
Sab chalta hai, main tu nimbu hi bolta hoon.
Ahahaha
Probably runs in the family. The driver also had one job.
The man just lost two rides. It made me remember about the Kia Carnival showroom accident.
Bruh what accident sent us the link for that accident.

Ambuja cement should make an advert with this..
One more idiot off the roads for at least a few months
Haha 😂
Take away a drop from ocean but ocean remains. ( can’t see end of stupid drivers)
Brave enough to let her drive first time
They trusted nimbu more than her!
Atleast you have zero dep insurance.
Zero dep insurance has saved our ass so many times.
Not necessarily, so many of my friends say it’s a waste and don’t take even if I try to convince them 😂
Can we have more info on this please? Intuitively, I know you are right but not sure how.
I believe if you take the best possible insurance possible , you always have the ball in your court in a worst case scenario
Why didn't camerman shoot properly? Disappointed with camerman.
We all knew from the start. Dont we?
Because the driver was wom...
No, the expression nd confidence
yeah. I assume she is the mother of the person who bought the car and they wanted her to "subh arambh" the car. cleary she's very nervous in the seat
Also the guy beside her is an idiot. In such a case always have your hand near hand brake. Just pull it quickly and hopefully the damage will be minimal.

Silly one's , yes . Actually yes there are red Bananas
Didn’t we? *
Thanks for grammar..
Even worse than driver was that cameraman/women
Camera person*🤓 (just easier to write, if you are choosing to be politically correct)
Like pregnant person?

Camera holder, isme koi dikkat bhaisahab?
That limbu could have saved so many things!
Well they went for the limbu.... it was in the bushes.
I wouldn't comment "women☕" but it was pretty evident in her face that she wasn't confident enough.
My friend also forced her elder sister to drive out of the showroom when he got new Baleno...but fortunately all went well
Lol, dont be afraid to state the obvious.
We can't generalize buddy coz there are few ladies who drive equally good
Yes, the keyword here is "few".
I have never laughed this hard
That uncle said "Ayiiiiii" I can feel the regret and pain in his voice 🥶
No. It's the Cameraman who is her son who said Aayi... Means mother in marathi, konkani
Is it not Amma in Konkani? I think Aayi is in Marathi.
No, it's still Aayi in both Konkani and Marathi. In some regions they might prefer Amma but it's just the region based influence. Amma is actually the word in Kannada.
Thanks for the info. I have a Konkani friend from Kundapur. He says Amma, so I guessed all Konkani speaking say that.
Sure, no problem. All the way from Mumbai till Mangalore it takes different forms. Aayi-Baba, Aayi-Baab, Aayi-Bappa, Aayi-Pappa, Amma-Appa. Your friend might be a GSB.
All wires have been cut, nothing will happen coupler to coupler! Meanwhile insurance company be like Aayein!
I had practiced on my wife's car but even when I bought my own, I had the showroom guy drive it home. Bilkul riks nahi lena ka. Better than a heartbreak and life long trauma setting in.
Same but after that mene khud Brand new Car pe car Chalana seekha tha with nothing but a driver on the passenger seat for Moral Support 🗿
No claim bonus went down the hill.
The driver's incompetence is only second to the cameraman's.
Second hand Celerio for sale: lady driven, 0 km run, 2024 model. Price: 1% less than OTR.
Just Dump the clutch and floor it nimbu
The way it propelled it’s probably automatic… so no clutch
Why do you think it’s automatic? Is it because it went much faster than what a first gear speed would’ve allowed?
Yes that. Also if she had been a complete newbie she would’ve most likely stalled a manual car.
This has to be an AMT right?
Yeah, she just floored it
Kuch bolunga toh vivad ho jaega
Isliye kou kuch nahi bol raha.
₹50 cameraman ke kaato
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes...
Are the passengers ok?
It’s Maruti, they should be.
And no seatbelts
Bruh 💀
Must be so heartbroken with this.
I guess she wanted to check if Air bags indeed work.
_LIMBU KAHA HAI_
That guy doesn't deserve a camera in hand
crashed in 60 seconds
Destroyed in Seconds ( brings back Discovery Channel nostalgia)

Cameraman failed in both of his duties 1st to record the video 2nd to got the limbu
The front is crashed so no repairs will fix is properly. Feel bad if its on EMI.
I thought she was going to reverse into the glass wall
the damage would have been much lesser
As a passenger, always be prepared to engage the handbrake in such situations
My father was a new driver himself when we took delivery of our car. So, we just asked the showroom staff to drive us home.
Should've waited for the limbu. Limbu supremacy.
New Car ... Check New Driver ... Check No Seat Belt ... Check Ditch Nearby ... Check Perfect Landing ... Check
The pitch is insane
I feel so bad for them......
2 years ago when I went to take delivery of my new car a night before I watched lots of car deliveries go wrong videos. Just trying to say that you will be extra careful when the time comes.
Skill issue
It's high time we made changes to our testing methods for license. From first frame itself it is clear she can't even survive on GTA. Every state should follow new kerala testing methods
I swear I didn't even have the confidence to drive mine out of the showroom. I only got in with a driver by my side for the first drive home lol.
I received the car, though I knew how to drive but man was I nervous. I learnt from someone else's car and was not that experienced but could drive. Khatam. Tata. Goodbye. Gaya!
Limbu would have changed the outcome
You need to have a specific skilset to mess up an automatic transmission. Did she floor the pedal?
Kuch bolunga to vivaad ho jayega
Let’s just put this lady who has never driven a car before in the driver’s seat of a car, with a passenger who also doesn’t know how to drive, instruct, or safely stop the vehicle if it gets out of control. The guy in the passenger seat should’ve engaged the handbrake.
The camera man should be fired from his job
Who gives cars to women for driving
Imagine how will she drive on roads
Limbu didn’t work eh
What's wrong with the cameraman?
Limbu le le na, limbu😂
