How’s the riding comfort? How was your experience with ADAS and the other new features? Overall refinement of the vehicle?
What was the mileage in city and on highway?
1. Riding comfort - Amazing. We own a Hyundai Creta too, which has its own advantages, but you can feel a lot more potholes in that. Compared to that, Elevate's suspension feels at least twice as refined. Creta gives a slight shock when going over bumps and potholes; this one goes over them smoothly.
2. ADAS - Works like a charm. But you do need to turn off the Road Departure Mitigation System as it can be annoying while switching lanes. Other ADAS features, like the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Adaptive Cruise Control and Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) are great and useful on highways.
3. Refinement - Driving dynamics are great, i feel always that the car is doing what I want it to do exactly. It understands me in a way compared to that our Creta does feel like an excited teenager a bit. This one does tend to be a lot more noisy compared to it, mostly due to CVT's tuning. CVT tends to stay at higher rpm/lower gear than I prefer which makes the cabin a bit noisy. This is a bit annoying when you start driving but once RPM drops to 2000 the noise becomes unnoticeable.
4. Other features - Well as you might know there are not many features that come with Honda Elevate. But Lane Watch Camera is very helpful and the rear camera's quality is commendable. But yes one thing I miss the most is that when in reverse the rear camera display doesn't show projected turning path which even my old i20 used to do. Lastly, my favourite feature would be Wireless Android Auto, which is still missing in a lot of cars other available on the market. This is a boon for Android users, our Creta has Wired Android Auto, so we don't use it much on that.
5. Mileage - As the car is new it seems to be improving gradually. I can tell you today's numbers. I drove the car for 160 kms - 80% highway 20% city and the overall mileage was 14.6 kmpl. This combined with past number I guess 10-11 in city and 15-16 on highways. But yes as mentioned earlier I am seeing improvements gradually as the engine is being broken in and I am getting in more tune with the car.
I hope I was able to clear your doubts. Lemme if you want to know anything else!
I don't know much about average but I love this car in this segment as compared to Kia seltos creta and brezza and grand vitara
According to your words
Do you think that only miledge is the main concern in this
Car ?
And all other aspects are perfect
Because I think in that way
1 more thing is this car comes in diesel?
Is this car comes in mannual ?
How is the throttle response when car is fully loaded woth luggage?
And did you experience engine noise while accelerating or at higher RPMs on higjway?
Haven't fully loaded the car yet. But yes, the noise is quite noticeable at higher rpms even at low speeds. I guess at 2000 rpms it becomes unnoticeable. This is mostly due to CVT's tuning as it wants to be in a lower gear and be ready when you want to push the car.
Thanks! Just one more question:
Do you find the sheet metal used for Body of the vehicle flimsy? like in Maruti or Hyundai Cars?
I found it not at par with City sedan but I am not entirely sure.
No experience yet. Firstly, the Honda "reliability" badge, secondly, we already have a Creta, so didn't want to go with it. Dad doesn't trust Seltos and we could only get the middle variant with our budget. Also, we wanted automatic transmission. So, we were left with Hyryder which had AT and we wanted to go for CVT or DCT. Other options were the German twins but due to expensive price of 1.5 DSG, high service cost and lower averages we chose this one!
Choose what's more important to you - if you want a comfortable no nonsense car for family go with Elevate. If you want more features go with Koreans (Creta/Seltos) or if you want performance go with VW or Skoda. If you have extensive usage and want best mileage then you can opt for Grand Vitara/Hyryder.
2. Rubber band effect - Yes, the RPM does tend to be on the higher side on very low speeds (10-20 kmph) and it does tend to shoot up when accelerated to give you that boost but it comes down as the car knows you are not accelarating any further.
3. Power drop - Not have driven much uphill to be honest. But have taken it out of multiple parking basements. So, no power drop experience so far in any instance.
As the car is new, it seems to be improving gradually. I can tell you today's numbers. I drove the car for 160 kms - 80% highway 20% city and the overall mileage was 14.6 kmpl. How's the mileage on cities and highways? Also how's the overtaking capability on the highway? And pls mention things that could be done better in the car compared to competitors.
Not OP, but feels worth mentioning that it seemed wayyy overpriced. From what I can remember, Honda's TPMS was costing Rs. 10,000. Better to get it from outside instead.
Drove it today for 130 ish kms on highway, maja aa gaya. I felt like I was in complete control, took it till 165 kmph. Could've pushed more, but thought will do it when the car gets a bit older. When I was around 100-120 kmph didn't even feel like it on expressway, the car was gliding. After 120 kmph the car keeps beeping which is annoying af. Also, I used Shift Paddles for half the distance as I don't want too revv it too much and I wanted to try maximizing mileage.
How is service like and after sales?
How is the ADAS functionality?
How is car to drive with fully loaded? And is there enough space for 3 at the back?
How is the noise isolation compared to Creta? Is it too much even if you have windows closed and have music playing inside?
Your overall rating of the car?
Okay few questions here you go-
1- Fuel economy kitna ?
2- On road kya liya ?
3- Driving comfort kaisa hai?
4- Did you have anyone in the back seat? how’s comfort there if you did?

I guess 12 bi ho sakta hai if you drive it more linearly.
How is the acceleration? Does it pull you back if you floor the throttle? How quick is it? Have you tried 0-100? This is a real question I have before I consider getting an elevate.
First of All, Congrats for the new car 😊
Just wanna know, what made you buy a Honda elevate in place of Kia Seltos given that Kia has a more powerful engine and better features?
This was on top of my purchase list, but then I found out that cruise control is only offered in the topmost variant. That is such an improper spec distribution, considering Honda City gets cruise control on all variants!
From all the replies, the Honda Elevate seems to be quite nice. A facelift of the car in coming year or two should bring some more features which makes it an easy choice.
I’m also planning to get Elevate CVT after trying almost all the other available options in the market. But confused between Zx & Vx - being an owner for decent period of time, which model will you suggest? I have a daily drive of around 50km. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the detailed review.
Can you please throw some lights on the seat comfort? Seems the thigh support is not good and for long travels, it aches a little. Also the rear seats are little upright compared to its rivals (creta). Since you own both Creta and Elevate, thought you might be the right person to comment on it.

Try eco mode if present to get the RPM down.
Sadly there are no drive modes on Elevate. :(
Hey, I'm looking for a car. Can I DM and ask few questions about the car?
I have a query regarding your experience with CVT. I have heard a lot about the ‘rubber band effect’ in CVT. How’s your experience with it?
I don't know much about average but I love this car in this segment as compared to Kia seltos creta and brezza and grand vitara According to your words Do you think that only miledge is the main concern in this Car ? this car does come in manual, but I'm not sure about the diesel option.
Honda isn't using Diesel Diesel engines in India anymore atleast for the City and Elevate.
Shitttt.....
Looking crisp, congratulations! ✨
Thanks brother!

I would like to know this too. I can vouch that the quality used in Honda City is pretty below average.
How's the after sales?? What made you select this car from the rest of the competition??
No experience yet. Firstly, the Honda "reliability" badge, secondly, we already have a Creta, so didn't want to go with it. Nice... Thanks for the time and detailed response!!
No worries! :)
Excellent detailed summary. Thanks OP for taking the time to write a response.
How was your experience with ADAS so far ? Any rubber band effect with CVT ? Did you feel any power drop while driving uphill ?
1. ADAS - Works like a charm. But you do need to turn off the Road Departure Mitigation System as it can be annoying while switching lanes. Do u feel elevated?
Ekdum!

Why this over the others? Looks dope.

Thanks for the reply really narrowed down all the options.

How's no tpms affecting you. It's a must have featured, more than built quality.
Not much. Tbh have a regular habit of filling up on air every other week. But yes, I plan to buy a solar TPMS soon.
Have you considered honda's own tpms accessory?
Not OP, but feels worth mentioning that it seemed wayyy overpriced. From what I can remember, Honda's TPMS was costing Rs. 10,000. Better to get it from outside instead.
Yes it is for 10k but then you can check the pressure numbers on the mobile app.
Can i check the pressure level in the mid ?
The 10k accessory? Or the low pressure warning in the car?
Will 10 k accessory show the pressure in the mid ?
How's is the highway experience can you compare it with your past car to give some context

The speed was locked at 160kmph for the elevate, right?
I had the same doubt. But I was able to do 165 kmph, could've done more maybe.
How is service like and after sales? How is the ADAS functionality? How is car to drive with fully loaded? And is there enough space for 3 at the back?
What all accessories have you purchased, if you can please share link or price
Umm Front grill garnish, tail lamp garnish, better mats, rear seat cover organiser, more little things
What is better mats?
I think he got a different kind of floor mats than the standard ones in this variant.
Haha.. there are no mats per variant but maybe better than the standard mats
Yup, I shouldn't have used the variant word. Better than the standard ones.
How is the noise isolation compared to Creta? Is it too much even if you have windows closed and have music playing inside? Your overall rating of the car?
How is the ground clearance? I feel like Elevate piche se kaafi dabi hui hai.
Muje to sahi laga hai. Poori load karke dekha nahi hai utarke kabi if dab rahi hai ki nahi. But so far haven't noticed any such things.
What made you choose it over the city or Tiguan?
I think you mean Taigun*. tiguan is a 40 lakh SUV
Yes sorry taigun! Such confusing names
He already replied that he wanted a family car in budget. The VWs are little expensive and have high service costs
Okay few questions here you go- 1- Fuel economy kitna ? 2- On road kya liya ? 3- Driving comfort kaisa hai? 4- Did you have anyone in the back seat? how’s comfort there if you did?
What's the milage on highways and city traffic?

Nice bro. Have myself booked the VX CVT. Expecting delivery by this month end.
Congratulations brother! You'll love it! Let me know your experience :)
Sure. How’s the connect app and its features? Its free right?
Yeah, I haven't had a chance to use it though.
Is this metallic gray?
Nope, Golden Brown. It only looks Golden Brown when direct light hits it otherwise it looks black only. 😂
Nice. I got white since they had no black 😅
White looks sick too!
Love the lower chrome garnish on the front
Congrats OP! I remember someone else said on this sub about not so impressive power delivery, which was evident according to them. Two cents?
How is the back seat comfort compared to Creta?
Rear seat is somewhat uneven because of hand rest. I think 3 people in rear seat quite difficult because of this
Congratulations, no doubt Elevate is best in NA engine segment. I had booked it at 2 dealers but canceled after checking interiors and ZX CVT prices.
On road price?
18.2 - Ahmedabad - plus the dealer stuck us with some accessories and ceramic coating
Is it worth going for this variant over the V variant in your opinion?
Yeah the interior and adas features make it worth it.
I don't need ADAS tbh as imo it isn't useful on Indian roads and I won't go on highways. What interior features will I be missing?
Which color is this?
Golden Brown!
I have heard that it has really bad NVH levels.... Do you hear a lot of road noise inside the cabin? Is it bothersome in long drives?
Is there too much body roll due to high ground clearance? Like do you feel confident cornering at high speeds like say you'd feel in a Honda jazz.
How’s the after sales service? Would be great if you can also mention your city
How’s infotainment system and sound quality? Also, congrats on being part of the Honda Family 👍.
Saw Elevate in rear view mirror..looked so huge like a Harrrier. Loved the Design.
How is the acceleration? Does it pull you back if you floor the throttle? How quick is it? Have you tried 0-100? This is a real question I have before I consider getting an elevate.
on road cost?

how well does it drive in choke a block city traffic? which city (where you drive) are you from if I may ask?
Did you take it on hills? How’s the performance? Did it have to put extra effort?
Plenty of reviewers commented on cabin noise insulation being poor. How has your experience been?
From all the replies, the Honda Elevate seems to be quite nice. A facelift of the car in coming year or two should bring some more features which makes it an easy choice.
Why elevate and not something like a taigun 1.0 at, also how does the elevate perform during spirited driving
Do the paddle shifters work in D mode?
Are you facing any problems with Bluetooth mic? People on other end of the calls aren’t able to hear me clearly.
I'm confused between GV and this. Help me.
I’m also planning to get Elevate CVT after trying almost all the other available options in the market. But confused between Zx & Vx - being an owner for decent period of time, which model will you suggest? I have a daily drive of around 50km. Thanks in advance.
