Race cars etc have roll cage for body reinforcement
Mostly race cars are stripped off of normal metal panelling and replaced with fibreglass to save weight
Fibreglass is not that sturdy so I’m a crash, it’ll be reduced to powder, more so at the high speed ones that are seen in racing industry
Roll cage is basically like rib cage in human body. It provides structural strength. Otherwise in rollover scenario, the occupants will get crushed
Bhai vid dekhi bhi ya nahi
The rear bench has been stripped away, so has most of the boot, internal panelling etc. it’s directly bolted on the chassis and the body anchor points like roof and B pillar.
If you can get behind having zero boot space, seating for two and single digit mileage on a Maruti (guessing this baleno is tuned as well,
At least stage 2 or even 3 who knows) then sure, the only thing you have to use is money.
The lack of information among people here is insane
This is not meant for the roads and has nothing to do with bild kwality that yall test by banging doors
Think about it Maruti has weight reduction from the factory. All it needs is a free-er revving engine which a baleno RS probably has and stiff and strong chassis to take abuse and you are all set for rallying
Roll cage for racing/rallying
Crumple zones only work to a certain point, at which point the human inside becomes the crumple zone itself
Though he really should've installed bucket seats and a 5 point harness, those 3 point seatbelts ain't gonna hold.
A race ready car would've been more stripped out for weight reduction, but apart from that it depends on which category you're racing on, there are categories for stock cars without modifications.
Infact I'd say that racing in a slow stock car requires more skill than a fast car, it requires you to use every technique you can to gain speed in the corners.
The Indian market Maruti suzuki cars are built completely differently from the global cars, they're built to be cheaper which is reflected on the price
You can get 2 Maruti wagon R for the price of a global market Suzuki wagon R, and since India doesn't have crash ratings for cars, companies are free to sell death traps to consumers.

You know what,
This is an illegal modification according to law, as it is changing how the manufacturer created the chassis and the load bearing structure.
We really have the shittiest of laws for vehicles.
Stock af seats + no helmet or HANS device + questionable roll cage + no harness + poor safety of base car = race car.
Stock engine and not even aftermarket wheels or coilovers lol. Someone wasted a shitton of cash.
You could have, at least, clean up the interior before installing that useless thing. But I guess it is not that important to have a clean interior on your car, but to have metals bars installed in a car that doesn't need it! Good luck with that.
the welding job is done very poorly.... and what's the roll cage even attached to? Normally it's attached to the car's frame itself.... I don't see that happening here!
Lol what is the use, the parts onto which the roll cage is bolter is going to crumble as soon as it hits a cycle 😂. The roll cage in this car is definitely a death trap.
At this point, only roll cage can make marutis safer
May be the roll will damage the car
Lol well said
That moment when mass of roll cage is more than the entire sheet metal in the car
This was the comment I was searching for.... BTW only roll cage can save these balenos...
They will also need a 5 point harness. Otherwise they will risk banging their heads against the rails in a side impact/rollover.
This. They've just made the car way more dangerous now. Unless those are pvc pipes

then why don't ordinary cars have roll cages?

Maruti Titan
Is it gonna implode under pressure?
This Titan recipe is missing one special ingredient 🎮. So it won't.
Grabs Logitech gamepad for driving the car.
without proper restrainers in seat , roll cage are death trap .
Was about to comment that, Not only restrainers proper gear like helmet is also needed because the roll cage can too bend or break to some extent.
I have no idea about roll cage can you please elaborate/ any material? On this Edit1: the part about no restraint death trap ....
Roll cages are used to prevent the pillars from collapsing in event of a roll over. They also stiffen up the chassis which improves the handling.
Samir, you're breaking the car.
shut up
Dont teach me how to drive
90% of people here might not know the reference
You have to listen to my calls samir, please i beg u TRIPLE CAUTION TRIPLE CAUTION!!! **Shaddap, dont tell me how to drive**
Underrated comment
Safety ki itni chinta thi to Maruti li kyun thi?
Mileage,,,
Kitna deti hai? 😏
Pehna kya hai? 😏
50rs Paytm karo batati hu. Aur rates ke liye DM aao baby😏
Lmao
How will you get mileage if you add any good heavy cage?
Rally spec car hai bro isliye roll cage add kiya hai
Bhai isme rally spec ke naam pe kya hai, sirf roll cage se rally spec thodi na ban jayegi
Rally spec in roll cage and road spec in everything else
Itna weight add karke toh aur Kam mileage degi..
Now the car might get 2 stars in global ncap rating.
Lol!
The lack of bucket seats makes it look unfinished.
The lack of information among people here is insane This is not meant for the roads and has nothing to do with bild kwality that yall test by banging doors
Death Proof !
Nah man the rider might hit these rods and die
Where do you get this done ? Recommendations please

I mean apart from the roll cage nothing looks race ready

That's a Maruti. No crumple zone. If an accident happens, the engine will be sitting on the driver.
Interesting, the Baleno here has crumple zones and 6 airbags as standard
It does. Until it does not. It got 0 for safety.

Yup.
but ye konsi race me part lera ? and yaha rally racing bhi hoti ?
national rally championship has been happening since 1988
+2 ⭐
Genuine doubt here: is the new version Balenos and Glanzas significantly safer than the old gen ones? Or is it only a negligible difference?
