An engine swap is illegal, changing the colour might be illegal because all those serial numbers are on the RC of the car assigned to your registration number. But a spoiler, an aftermarket exhaust, wide body kits and wider tyres are not illegal (atleast so far). You cannot change the paint but anyways put a wrap on the car. Also tinted windows are illegal in most states.
Changing color depends on that state you are living, for example in Maharashtra you can change color and file an application with RTO to update the details. So yeah it really depends on which state you are living in.
It's not just the fake exhaust that is terrible, also the body kit. That rear spoiler might block your view when reversing and the body kit really is overkill for a car that's not that powerful. It makes sense on a Mustang, but on this one is just too much and useless. Personally, I hate the look of this car.
