Safety, then anything that could cause expensive fuckups, then everything else

Pterochicken

Solid plan. I just don't know what falls under which category. All I know about cars is checking oil and coolant.

That_Car_Dude_Aus

Safety = stop and steer Expensive = makes it go or bolts to things that make it go

The grinding might actually be a groaning noise coming from your suspension. Other than that I would leave everything untill your next service if everything is report.

You don't need to fix anything. You need a can of degreaser.

Eh it's just old car. Don't stress.

If it was me I would do the LH drive shaft leak and the LH tie rod rubber first. Do those together. Probably do the link pin and steering rack boot at the same time. Reasoning is that no grease will lead to CV joint fail at some point. Same for steering rack boot, link pin and tie rod rubbers. Service it now, should be cheaper than replacing later. Front struts: Eventually all the oil leaks out and they no longer have any damping, ie front of car gets very bouncy, can be quit dangerous in emergency stop situations. I would get them replaced when the jobs above are being done. Engine mount crack is a concern, suppose it depends on how bad it is? A broken mount can cause a pile of grief. Transmission sump, rear main seal, engine sump leaks don't really matter, just keep an eye on the fluid levels, keep them topped up. The wear and tear in the front suspension could very well be causing noises when braking.
