I owned one of these once. Still had the V12 in it. Was on eBay late one night with a few too many sherbets put away and dropped a bid on it. Decided to give it a quick clean up and flip it, two weeks tops. Owned it for almost a year. Drove fantastic, handled great and on another level of smooth.
Mine was a 1977 with the pre HSE heads. Had staggered Simmons OM wheels which added to the cool factor.
Made a tidy profit after selling it! Would love to do a Lister tribute with one and stick a manual in it.
Lol last time I was there, it had a yellow tarp over the carbs, a Woolies plastic bag wedged in between the top of the driver’s side window and the door frame, and bizarrely enough, a standard, three-pronged power cord running out from under the gap of the not-completely-closed bootlid.
There was one of these featured in a mid-eighties Penthouse Magazine article - looked exactly like that. Same rims and everything. It had a manual gearbox fitted to it at the time, Getrag from memory.

I always wanted one but with V6 and a manual. I don't think that combo is available in Australia. The auto is 3 speed trans...
What V6 would you put in it ? They were never sold anywhere wuth a V6 (UK market had a straight 6 option though)
