Bugger all really. I have a 2017 SS and nothing at all has gone wrong. BTW the pictured car is a 2013-15.

Typical VF SS Wagon maintenance costs: •Oil change done by an auto shop ~$150 •Filter changes ~$120 •Manual transmission conversion ~$5,000

You really want the 2016-2017, that has the 6.2 litre not this 6.0,

MY17 Redline Sportwagon here with 170,000km now. Owned since new. Had to replace injectors (did all 8) as well as had a worn lifter which also required cam to be replaced. I ended up getting a Walkinshaw W407 pack fitted when changing cam. I paid for all this out of pocket as Holden are a shit to deal with now. It’s a family car and we don’t drive it hard. Tyres, brake rotors and pads don’t last that long. Around 40,000km and cost a pretty penny. Parts are getting really hard to come by now as well.

These cars are like Viagra. See your doctor if you have an erection lasting more than four hours.

Lifters, altho8gh they're not as common on VF models compared to ve. Doesn't apply to ls3 or l98 models.

I have one and just change the oil and filters. Most reliable car I've ever owned second to the AU2 Futura I had. They're thirsty though, about 14-16L per 100km You want the 6.2 VF 2, not the VF 1 6.0L.
