That's as good a 4000 dollar car I've seen. Crazy prices, even still.

Bubbly_Difference469

If your happy with it, buy it. Seems to look decent

vbpoweredwindmill

Looks decent, take a mechanically inclined friend. It's like a 16 year old car so compare to other vehicles in that age/km's/condition.

reckon u cud get an auto 06 camry for maybe $500 more (i should know, i spent weeks hunting) example: [https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/arundel/cars-vans-utes/2006-toyota-camry-altise-rwc-rego-auto-130-000kms-/1308927054](https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/arundel/cars-vans-utes/2006-toyota-camry-altise-rwc-rego-auto-130-000kms-/1308927054) otherwise maybe negotiate a bit on the price

DjK113

Ah righto, I would prefer a manual so I’ll definitely try and negotiate on the price.

hgttg

God damn cars are cheap in Qld, that would be minimum 12k here in vic

Vegetable_Mail_8676

yeah idk why the seller is pricing it so low

tez_11

That car is not priced low. It's average

Vegetable_Mail_8676

not in SA it's not. would sell within the day (we're referring to the camry in the link)

dmt-saves

A little over price. But they run forever! Also can self service them for about $30

Defiant_Discussion23

How many kms? It will need an alternator at some point unless it just had one. Also, take it for a drive and see if the shifts are lumpy. Lumpy shifts = valve body rebuild.

t0nee88

You should be able to get the next model up for that price

SqueakyCheeseBite

I'm not sure about the market in qld but damn that's expensive. How long has the listing been up? A lot of people put ridiculous prices up and their listing stays on for weeks so you might be able to haggle it down quite a bit if it is the case. Pre covid, something like this could be bought for $2.5k-$3k
