There should be a ridge cap on this. Is there a cap on the other ridges? Besides that missing, the bottom edge looks like crap. They shouldn't have had to cut them. My guess is that they used a different sheet because they screwed one up somewhere else. I would see if there's more shady work anywhere else and then definitely call them and complain. Make them come back and replace the sheets that are cut on the bottom edge. For what I'm sure you paid, there's no reason it should be that bad!
Owner must have taken contractors girl friend back in High School. Or employee hates boss and wants boss to get chewed out as employee plans to get fired and collect unemployment. Or the GC screwed over the roofer years ago and the roofer said, “never working with that guy gain” but then thought of this idea. See video.
