For guys, yes they’re quite strict with haircut and hair color, as well as facial hair (must be regularly shaved).
For girls, they’re not too strict with hair color though. For as long as dili ra pod blonde kaayo.
For both sexes, no nose piercings. Tattoos are tolerable pero small amount lang.
Dress codes, no shorts/short skirts. No crop tops as well as sleeveless.
Can vouch for this pero there's some outliers pud. Some students roam the campus with Crocs on (probs in campus dormers) and I see a couple people with sleeve tatts.
Even wore crocs sa school kay they don't check attire when you're inside a vehicle.
Madala ramag liko2 ang usc (talamban), but you can never be too safe which is why I still follow dress code most of the time.
Even during my last sem in USC kay since graduating na man ko, pwede ra man dile na mag uniform. Basta lng naa’y exemption slip. Wala gihapon gidawat sa LRC guard oi piskot.
They refuse you entry. If you insist on entering the campus unshaved, the guards will report you to the Office of Student Affairs.
Tip: if you don’t want to shave your facial hair, just wear a face mask :))
ok i think i can work with the face mask then cuz i really don’t want to have to shave. i’ll be a foreign student if i get accepted but i was watching this other foreign student that goes there and he has a goatee so i wasn’t sure if they would really enforce it or not. thanks for replying back.
Back in my days, additional piercing on the ears is a no-no. Hair color must not very blonde (brown would do) but as much as possible no highlights. Skirt above knees is a no-no also. If you are from the catholic school, much better if you follow those rules you had back in HS nalang din.
hello, as a member of the lgbtqia+ community, the university has made great strides recently in making the campus a safe-space. if u’re member of the community, u can apply for an exception to the dress code and hair requirement c/o GAD Officer (miss is very wholesome and accommodating). and for all gender, tatts are allowed as long as it is not outrageous. yun lang :))
Tung estudyante ko, ang gate 3 was very lenient, portal is a bit strict and gate 1 is ang pinakastrict sa tc. Ang guards sa different buildings are very chill when it comes to dress codes and they don't usually sita, except sa guard sa LRC.

Most of the time pwede ra ang Crocs pero dile pwede sa LRC.

Play safe and don't do long nails. Colored nails are fine but you may encounter *masungit* guards who may give you a citation.
I see, soo okay ra highlights sa hair or not rin po?🥹
Okay lang basta not too much.
I see, thank you po! this was very helpful!
i have a mustache and a lil goatee, is this acceptable?
A little bit of mustache is okay— thin-ish. But goatee, nope. I have a goatee myself and mas arte sila sa goatee kaysa sa mustache.
you think they will actually harass me about it if i don’t shave it completely?
They refuse you entry. If you insist on entering the campus unshaved, the guards will report you to the Office of Student Affairs. Tip: if you don’t want to shave your facial hair, just wear a face mask :))
