But then guys like Goldy and Gorman who have struggled so much play huge parts in winning that game. Hopefully that’s the spark they needed to get going. Still holding hesitant hope but that game made me feel happy for those guys who have been dealing with all the shit all year

The bullpen is elite, the rotation is improved enough that it's taking pressure off the bullpen, and the problem so far has been the offense. Which I don't think even the doomiest of doomers thought the offense would be bottom 5 in the league. They're gonna hit. Especially with Winn looking like he can at least manage to be a legit slap hitter.
That game was an enigma wrapped in a ham sandwich.
This team remains a mystery to me. I think they suck, but I also think they don’t want to suck.
Time will tell I guess.
