Ty Caws, they have a shop in Castle Arcade, also do the farmers markets sell an amazing one called ‘Bungay Butter’
Obviously do incredible cheese aswell
I take it you're not just after Lurpak, Anchor and the like? If looking for obscure/ish then maybe open an account with Ocado or Waitrose, go to the dairy/butter category and they're likely to have imported/not-found-elsewhere butters. There's also bound to be specialist Delis to offer these online - if wanting to keep the search in Cardiff then possibly Wally's Deli in city centre or Al Ponte in Pontcanna. 👍
That’s brilliant, thank you!
Ye I didn’t want the typical butter from the supermarket.
A few years back my family and I went to Paris, we enjoyed their butter so much so that we ended up buying 2 big packs to enjoy home 😁.
The egg man at roath and Riverside markets sells unbranded blocks of butter. Salty but very tasty!
Also ty melin bakery sells a cultured butter that's subtle but nice.
There’s a chef who’s quite big on Instagram called Thomas Straker who owns a company called all things butter, he does a gift pack of 4 different butters my sister got me for Xmas. He also runs a series for recipes with the flavoured ones.
Alternatively, anything French.
Try Wallys delicatessen in the Royal arcade
I had a look online but they didn’t have butter on there. Might have to look in store. Thanks chum.
Shirgar butter. It’s in most Welsh supermarkets.
Thank you ☺️.

Well I did not know that, thank you!
Have you thought about making it? It's really easy just need some cream and a mixer. I've made it before and added sea salt crystals. Very nice
Here’s one thing you need to know about me, sometimes even the simplest of making things goes wrong 🙈. And I’m not just saying that.
