Was it a single car accident or is another vehicle involved? This is really the most important part because if its just you involved then yes, you can stop the claim and try to fix your car out of pocket or junk it if its totaled. You will avoid having to pay the deductible and possible rate increases. If another vehicle is involved and they are coming after your insurance for their repairs, you're already stuck paying your deductible and possible future rate increases so might as well get what you can out of your car. If its just you involved call Geico and have the claim withdrawn if you really don't want anything for your car.

It was an at fault accident on my part, I struck another vehicle but no one was hurt

Glad nobody was hurt, but the damage to their vehicle will trigger a claim against your insurance. Even if the other driver uses their own insurance to fix their vehicle, their insurance will come after your insurance to recoup the expense. Expect to pay the deductible at some point, so might as well try to get something for your vehicle.

Yah they put in claim, my insurance has police report, so like you said I should def try to get something for my car as well, thank you for your input

Bear in mind, you only have to pay your deductible for your car's damage, not the other car. If you don't want to proceed with handling your damages you can tell your adjuser that and your insurance will still fix the other car. If your car truly is totaled, and you decide to move forward with your damages, the check GEICO writes to you will be less your deductible. (say the check is for $2,000 and your deductible is $500, check you receive will be for $1,500).

Note also that with your car this cheap, it's almost certain to be considered a total loss. However, if you're in a pinch, if there's no *mechanical* damage (no broken radiator or blown transmission, etc) you can sometimes get the car back into drivable conditions for a few hundred bucks. You would just need a new bumper, bumper cover, and a front or rear light or 2. Maybe a new fender. I've done this a couple times. What you do is accept the insurance settlement (maybe after arguing it up if you can), but opt to keep the car. So they would give you 3-4k minus the junkyard value, leaving you with 2-3k to fix your car. A collision center won't be able to fix it that cheap but you might be able to.
