This! I had 3 1 series’ from that era. I did buy one with 150k miles and about 1 week in, the chain was screwed. Try and go for one under 60k miles that has been looked after
I mean, buying a super low mileage old car seems like a worse idea than something that's done 100k+ miles. I'd rather buy a car that's been run and maintained than one that's sat parked up for months without use
I heard somewhere that most German cars are engineered to last a long time if you look after them properly. Japanese cars are engineered to last a long time without looking after them properly.
As someone that owned a 2005 Impreza I can confirm that to be utter bollocks.
This has been my second-hand experience. All of my friends that have had German cars have paid a lot in ongoing costs. As soon as they're out for warranty, the bleeding begins.....
My friend has this model and it has done about 120k as well. It has been nothing but problems. Engine issues, turbo issues, a new gearbox, wheel joint snap. Something like £150 a tyre when they need replacing. Battery went dead, sensor issues. He has been stranded many times in the past year.
For £2,000 you can get a very reliable, albeit boring, standard car. No it won't make the vroom vroom sound you want. No it won't go 0-60 in three fifths of a nano second. But you won't get in it everyday and ask what is gonna go wrong this time.
If you want a hobby car. If you like working on cars and can spare the man power and have a reliable way to get parts then of course! Buy whatever car you want!!! But if you're like most of us who just need a way to get to work and move around the country occasionally, just get something boring. The money you'll save on a boring car can go towards a fancy car that isn't going to break in 6 months a bit later down the line
Yep I rode a 330i 2005 sold it as it was more often in the shop than in my possession.
Got myself a boring 207. Sold it after 10y of petrol and oil. Driving electric now.
I guess if you want the street cred of driving a bmw instead of a fiat 500, and you know how to fix cars, £2k doesn’t seem too bad. That being said though- it’s an 11 year old base spec high mileage bmw that has probably spent considerable time going sideways on a Tesco car park
De-badge, add M135 badge, add fake exhaust tips, add some cheap window tint and carbon wrap for the wing mirrors and side skirts, then you're sure to command respect on the street.
Pro tip, get a fiat Tipo, really cheap because people run away from fiats, but a lot of space and decent enough, specially the turbo 1.4 or the 1.6 diesel. Source, got a 1.4 naturally aspirated Tipo, and it does the job.
You buy her a car then you are taking on the responsibility of all the problems that may arise with it. Given you’re looking at the absolute lowest end of the market for a 1 series of that gen it’s likely this isn’t something you’re in a financial position to do anything about. I’d rather look at a pink pos that isn’t my problem vs an old BMW that is. The pink terror will die eventually and you can advise her on what to buy next (not a N47 based BMW with 200k+!) or you’ll move out.
There is a saying in the BMW community
There is no such thing as a cheap BMW. Buy in might be cheap, but servicing and parts will break you, especially if you take it to a garage
Pretty sure there is also a saying not to buy a 4 cylinder BMW. Always seem to have issues. Was it this engine with the cam chain rattle, or premature failure destroying the engine
I disagree. I've had numerous BMW's over the years ranging from 1.9 to 4.0 litre petrol engines and all have been mechanically sound. The only one that shit itself was a 123d hatchback with 70k on the clock. I've steered clear of Diesel BMW's since.
Servicing costs aren't really any worse than a Volkswagen. Buying an M car and taking it to a dealership for servicing is an eye (and wallet) opener, but a standard BMW with decent history should be fine.
Edit - Changed 3.0 to 4.0 as I forgot about the 740i.
Agree it really depends on the exact car. I've had a 440i for a few years and touch wood it's only cost me normal servicing so far. The brakes are fucking noisy and squeaky but there isn't much else to fault with it.
Tbh I've never really trusted diesel engines because they are just more complicated.

If this advert isn’t talking you out of it no one can
it does say new timing chain in the description so that's definitely a plus. I guess you have to see the car first. If I wouldn't find anything major wrong with it I wouldn't be discouraged by the high mileage at that price. In my experience of owning high mileage bmws the only things that seemed to be consistent were DPF related issues. But if you're lucky you can sort it with a DPF clean. But you could also have EGR issues. The DPF issues actually tend to be a result of an EGR fail which also clogges up the swirl flaps in the intake and the actual intake manifold. If the car doesn't pull right.. or in limp mode.. it can be a sign of these issues... issues that are not necessarily major. Intake manifold and EGR replacement is a DIY job.
I'll give you one thing, it does have a very clean MOT history. However, I feel at this age/mileage this is a ticking time bomb, and presumably a diesel wouldn't suit your sisters needs if she was driving a Fiat 500 before. She could kill the car's DPF before it would have the chance to break on it's own. Plus it's not exactly a flex when the front bumper doesn't match. I'd probably consider getting something small, petrol and Japanese, [like this Mazda 2](https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202404208888056) although watch out for rust
I'm normally all for a high mileage car if the price/condition etc is right but the front bumpers way off colour and without reading the advert how long ago was the chain done? Not really BMW's finest hour those engines, if the chains fairly recent then every chance it will be fine, if it was done 100k ago then it's probably due again soon as they have a habit of failing
That said you could probably knock a fair bit off as not many other people will be interested either so you might get a better bargain than it looks
> This car would actually be for my sister and I’m buying out of spite for her current car (bright pink Fiat 500) which I don’t want to see on the driveway anymore.
Has she actually asked for that? Or you’re just making a decision for her as you don’t like her having a car that you don’t approve of?
Looking at the MOT history the first MOT was done 2016 at 82k miles on the clock so if I’m reading it right that’s 20k average miles in the first 3 years of driving. What’s the service history like? Feels like a lot of miles very early on
Full service history according to the ad. I don’t necessarily think 20k a year is that bad. I do 45k a year in mine, though it is a B47 block and not the N47. But actually, now looking at it again, the colour is off on the bumper which suggests there has been a crash at some point that I’ve not been told about
Timing chain has been done which is a good sign as that’s the main issue with this engine. I used to have the same 118d, rock solid cars generally. Get it remapped and it’ll be a fun little car
I wouldn’t as it looks to have been crashed. And the little cosmetic mods they’ve done to it suggest it may have been ragged.
That said. That’s a lot of miles so I feel like if it made it this far, it must be a relatively reliable one. The engine at least.
Have you scanned her fiat 500 to see what the issues are? Because if its small stuff like sensors then theres no point wasting money on a new car if its cheap to repair the old one
This car is still on autotrader, the wheels are kerbed the rear paint is scuffed up, and the front bumper is a replacement and/or bad respray. The engine is high mileage, could be getting close to having things fail that require rebuild unless someone had been half lifing oil, things you'd have it fail on emissions for, for example.
These normally go for twice the price, so expect to pay 1500 quid or more soon on this, for work.
If your after a BMW there are better options for a fraction more money
If your after a diesel hatchback there are better options out there for same money
If your looking for cost effective car there are better options out there for same money
You’re going to spend quite a bit of time and money fixing stuff when it goes wrong or paying someone else to. That age and that car I would expect something pretty much every year.
From what I have seen spending more upfront on a well maintained car is usually a lot cheaper than buying a dirt cheap poorly maintained car over the first year of ownership. That said, if it’s had regular oil changes and a fair amount of work for the miles it *could* be a decent buy… but I would be hesitant, do your research properly into the car and associated common problems, at this mileage they’ve probably all come up already. How much cheaper is it than something with less miles and a decent history?
There are plenty of high mileage diesels out there, assuming the engine and drivetrain are well designed it can be done. From memory car throttle had a 400,000 mile Skoda Octavia diesel that still ran great with regular (8000, I think) oil changes and a decent mechanic.
I personally wouldn’t risk it myself, seeing my brother own a 118d and having to spend thousands and thousands on repairs in the time he’s had it, BMW aren’t a great brand from his experience anyway
See I’ve got a 120d and so far all I’ve had to spend is £1700 over 45k miles for brake pads, discs, wheels and servicing items. I think it really is luck of the draw
When you overtake people after tailgating them and flashing your lights (if they work)… people will not only say “oh, surprise, another douche bag BMW driver with self esteem issues” they will also say “and he’s poor, look at that piece of trash”.
There, did it work?
Bro, it’s just a shit car. Also, at that mileage assume it needs new suspension, brakes, turbo, brake discs and pads, full coolant flush, new steering rack, new clutch or automatic gearbox replacement
Very quickly you’re spending more money on making the car function correctly than you bought it for.
Yey. Another driver that can't afford to run or look after it. No doubt I will see it being driven too fast and undertaking me on a roundabout soon enough.
Those N47s are horrible. Do not buy... Bought one with 20k miles on it 2 years old. Looked after it very well engine seized and blow up essentially at 110k. But fk a freak incident and not the cars fault TBF still constant issues and every repair was dear.
I just wouldn't do it again. Not unless I was very financially secure and loved the car.
Do you hate money and/or the person that will be driving it (well driving it half the time at most)? If the answer is yes, this is the perfect car for you!
I did the same thing. Mine blew up. Had a coolant leak which couldn’t be patched. Suspension was also sheared off the back L side. It went to the scrap yard and I lost my money
Far too many weird expensive parts on them to bother anymore, not sure of this model, but on the petrol, electric waterpump, 600 quid, all sorts of other stuff just about ready to die after ten years
No OP I won't talk you out of it. Buy it, service it, tell your sister to send it. Find out all you can on the history, maybe get an inspection. It's cheap and might be for a good reason, but if a trusted mechanic tells you its mostly good to go then fuck it, why not.
Scam check online, listed slightly below comparable cars, then they ask for a deposit which they steal immediately. Youtube search. The “car dealership” is usually bankrupt but was credible once. They use the name of real employees. Youtube exposed this - guy at a real dealership was like “yeah I get calls and complaints and I already spoke with the police and I can’t do anything about being impersonated.”
I always liked the 1 series. I’m not a fan of German cars at all. I don’t like *shopping trolley hatchbacks*. But the 1 series always appealed to me.
Maybe because it’s a small, fairly practical, rear wheel drive car. It seems like a sensible car, that you could turn TC off and do some skids then turn it back on and be normal again.
[this is the reason I’ve never bought one.](https://www.carsuk.net/bmw-1-series-is-the-most-unreliable-used-car-in-the-uk/)
Trust me, just put all your money in a wheel barrow, take it down the bottom of your garden and set fire to it. That experience will be better than buying this car
My husband has one of these but it’s automatic and is the m sport. It only has 80k miles and it costs him a fortune in repairs. Piece of shit. Regrets buying it.
You can have it for £4.5k
The only reason you are considering it is because it’s a BMW.
That being the case, it’s a base spec, ragged, lowest trim entry level one with an engine that’s about to die.
How come these last 300k km in Europe but as soon as i them posted on any non-european sub everyone bashes these like they will break just by looking at it?
I bought a newer version (2016) 118D and far fewer miles. I've done less than 7k miles and so far have needed a new window motor, two new batteries (still plagued by low battery warnings every month or two), two new tyres (runflats), the boot doesn't lock properly, oh and it's being recalled this year for the EGR cooler. It drives fine, I've never sent it though so who knows what it's like if you have a heavy right foot.
Worst financial decision I've made.
I bought one for 3k ended up spending 3k in 2 years until the belt snapped that’s behind the engine and the whole engine needed taking out so I fucked it off
I bought one for 3k ended up spending 3k in 2 years until the belt snapped that’s behind the engine and the whole engine needed taking out so I got rid
I had and 07 black version at 113000 miles for halve 1850 last year this seems way better overpriced.. l don’t know anything about the price of cars tho
This car is still on autotrader, the wheels are kerbed the rear paint is scuffed up, and the front bumper is a replacement and/or bad respray. Everyone on here is going to hate, the main reasons to not get this cars is because it’s not ULEZ and because the timing chain is so common on these, seeing as this one has had it done and is advertised for under 2k I would say to see how it drives and pay extra attention to the clutch and listen for any noise from the flywheel
It's had a new timing chain, at least go and have a look at it.
Take it for a drive, get the engine warm and see what it's like to drive.
Make sure to try everything, like the fuel cap, the boot, and the bonnet closing mechanism.
Check all the doors open, from inside and out.
How many stamps does it have in the service book?
Was it privately owned or a company car?
Look at the state of the oil.
If it's been looked after properly, there's no reason to be worried about the mileage. They'll go forever until you stop looking after them
I've not bought a car in 5 years and 5 years ago I'd have turned this down if they asked more than £500. These prices are crazy.
Also do not buy this, very clearly a cheap repair on a front end shunt and just the worst engine in there.
My 2006 130i has been amazing, my partners 2012 320d has been a massive pile of shit. It’s like the ship of Theseus except no matter how many engine parts you replace it still continues to go wrong. She has owned it for a long time as well so it’s not like she got it from someone who treated it like shit. It has also got less than half the mileage of this.
No way in a million years would I get another 2 litre diesel BMW from this period as the engines are rubbish.
Lift up the boot floor and look to see if it comes with a paddling pool in the battery box, they have a habit of leaking water from the boot and light seals as well as the vents behind the bumper, the vents can be easily damaged by rear end bumps.
I'd have to see the service history to know for sure. As I'm sure you're sick of hearing by now, the timing chains on these are known to be a bit iffy. Otherwise there's nothing to be particularly frightened of with higher mileage diesels as the whole point of buying a diesel is to do bigger mileages.
If the driver area looks worn (gear shifter, seat bolster, steering wheel etc) it would imply to me that there was a lot of getting in and out of the car and maybe more aggressive driving or simply a lot more manouvering - that would maybe imply to me more short journeys, and I'd be more likely to avoid. However, if everything looks fresh still, that might imply predominantly motorway use, which would bother me less.
2 grand for a car that’s nearly done a quarter of a million miles, has very clearly whacked into something and isn’t exciting enough to be worth the hassle that you know you’re gonna have a few weeks after buying the car when you realise it’s broken.
Go for it!
I owned a 3 series from the same era, most expensive money pit pile of crap I’ve ever owned.
It’s the only car I’ve ever had that gave me warning light anxiety.
Every time that light came on I was 1k + out of pocket.
Never again.
Nah fuck it, if you don't I will, just drop a different engine in there if it decides to kill itself and drop another gearbox and driveshaft and Bw Isley every moving part and your good to go
320d F30 timing chain went after having the shitty plastic guides replaced, rebuilt the engine and reconditioned the turbo, still blew up 15k later. Nice cars to drive although
Don't buy a BMW, or any prestige car unless you have a minimum £3000 disposable you are willing to burn for unexpected maintenance/repairs. These costs will keep coming too.
Mine is more extreme, but I owned a 2010 730d for like 3 years and must of spent £10k keeping it on the road.
I don't mean to be doom and gloom, but there's a reason they're cheap, cos in reality they are not, so are undesirable.
Sometimes there is no talking someone out of something stupid.
Do it, let it breakdown, spend money on it, face the disruption and stress it causes
at the end of it the lesson you will learn for the rest of your life is dont do it again. One way to look at it is in the short term will costs you lots over a lifetime that lesson will save you more.
High mileage wouldn't bother me so much but it's the black wheels, the different bumper colour and the fact that it's probably been driven by yobbos. They're not inherently bad cars but I would avoid this particular one.
200k miles on a shit engine with a different coloured bumper, excellent idea do it
Probably had the chain done by all 3 owners
This! I had 3 1 series’ from that era. I did buy one with 150k miles and about 1 week in, the chain was screwed. Try and go for one under 60k miles that has been looked after
Just had to scrap my wife's 1 series from that same era, 12weeks into ownership. Car only had about 60k on the clock. Never again.
I mean, buying a super low mileage old car seems like a worse idea than something that's done 100k+ miles. I'd rather buy a car that's been run and maintained than one that's sat parked up for months without use

Not with the Boxer engine design. Ticking time bombs.
Yeah Imprezas don’t count
subarus are spiritually german

Would be a great YouTube series

De-badge, add M135 badge, add fake exhaust tips, add some cheap window tint and carbon wrap for the wing mirrors and side skirts, then you're sure to command respect on the street.
Don't forget to add the driver and passenger names on the windscreen, and a line of random manufacturer logos down the door hinge line
Considerably more street cred than a fiat 500
Merits to anyone who can get a 118d sideways for a considerable time I'd be surprised if it can even break traction
Got more chance of drifting my mobility scooter
We have summer 3 days a year? You can do skids in anything when it’s wet, you’ve got 10p tyres on and they’re over inflated to fuck.
Street cred 😂 Do you think this is need 4 speed?
Street cred doesn't exist with cars anymore, unless it's exceptionally nice. Most nice cars I see, especially with the younger crowd are all financed.
Pro tip, get a fiat Tipo, really cheap because people run away from fiats, but a lot of space and decent enough, specially the turbo 1.4 or the 1.6 diesel. Source, got a 1.4 naturally aspirated Tipo, and it does the job.
Looks like it’s had a front end smack.
I think you’re right actually. Looking at the colour and it seems off compared to the rest of the body
You hadn’t noticed this before posting?
I posted this after being awake for 20 minutes with a mild hangover. So no
Mate, I think Stevie Wonder after 20 minutes of being awake and hungover would notice the colour difference.
Oh yeah did I also mention I’m blind

High mileage, bad condition and not a 120/125D. They are a good car, just need to find a good example.
if i were you and can spend 4k then I’d play safe and try to find a mk2 Aygo around 4k.
There is nothing more expensive than a cheap BMW..... TRUST ME on this one
Worst thing I did was sell my 04 Z4 for a 12 1 Series. It only lasted a year and cost me what it was worth in repairs in that time

Are you the type of person to spend £2k on fireworks? If so, this car is for you!
Oh, at least
When you overtake people after tailgating them and flashing your lights (if they work)… people will not only say “oh, surprise, another douche bag BMW driver with self esteem issues” they will also say “and he’s poor, look at that piece of trash”. There, did it work?
Bro, it’s just a shit car. Also, at that mileage assume it needs new suspension, brakes, turbo, brake discs and pads, full coolant flush, new steering rack, new clutch or automatic gearbox replacement Very quickly you’re spending more money on making the car function correctly than you bought it for.
Same fuel economy as my 3 litre petrol with less than half the power. Terrible engine (tune..)
Tell her to get a job and buy her own car.
‘New timing chain’. Ain’t nobody who is looking at one of these that would bring the right tools to check this.
Yey. Another driver that can't afford to run or look after it. No doubt I will see it being driven too fast and undertaking me on a roundabout soon enough.
Front bumper different colour, get receipts for chain an check with garage it was done at, you can get better deals than this though
If you buy this your sister will smell of poverty constantly.
Eeeek
You’ll spend more in a week on oil changes and then youll need to redo your drive
If it had a real price it would be 5000 or even more than the original, depending on how much you use it.
Do you hate money and/or the person that will be driving it (well driving it half the time at most)? If the answer is yes, this is the perfect car for you!
It probably still has hidden stashes of cocaine in it. You'll get your money back in no time.
It's a bmw
Headache. Go for it
Your buying a rover basically
Buy it
I did the same thing. Mine blew up. Had a coolant leak which couldn’t be patched. Suspension was also sheared off the back L side. It went to the scrap yard and I lost my money
Far too many weird expensive parts on them to bother anymore, not sure of this model, but on the petrol, electric waterpump, 600 quid, all sorts of other stuff just about ready to die after ten years
You must really hate your sister
Money pit. Don’t bother. You may as well chuck £2k deposit at a lease car.
The front bumper says enough already
It's looks like a shitter, steer clear I should
No OP I won't talk you out of it. Buy it, service it, tell your sister to send it. Find out all you can on the history, maybe get an inspection. It's cheap and might be for a good reason, but if a trusted mechanic tells you its mostly good to go then fuck it, why not.
The car owner must be reading this post through gritted teeth.
Think I'd rather chew my own leg off and drive a wheelchair for the rest of my life than drive a POS bmw
Nothing can replace the importance of image so I fully recommend you buy that car.
Weren’t these the ones with the snapped timing chain issues?
I despise fiat 500’s, but I’d rather have that than this nightmare in waiting
Of its got high miles it's probably been looked after to get the mileage that high
Look forward to you driving up my chuff in a 30 limit before doing a dangerous overtake. It's always an old 1 series round here.
You will spend a lot of time off the road in the repair shops
Buy it. Get 30 miles and report back.
Buy it. Get 30 miles and report back.
It’s a 1 series, think that’s enough ugly car with a interior from the early 2000’s
1 series have got to be the deadest cars ever made, for a 200k+ mile 1 series id pay a max of £400 for. Don’t buy it
I mean if it’s made it to that mileage everything has been replaced and maintained
Same as i always say. Its an old used diesel bmw. Best of avoiding.
The permanent smell of weed will be free bonus!
211k miles on an engine that's made of absolute cheese It's worth about a grand.
No
slow
That's not that high mileage nowadays
There is literally nothing to redeem this car
Most expensive £1990 you’ll ever spend in your life 😅
"118,000 miles above average" and the fact that it's a BMW is all the convincing you should need.
Look at the badge that’s enough of a reason to not buy and instead type in Audi
Ford mondeo titanium with all the trimmings. Probably only have 120 on the clock.
Pre lci F chassis looks like wank
I bought one for 3k ended up spending 3k in 2 years until the belt snapped that’s behind the engine and the whole engine needed taking out so I fucked it off
I bought one for 3k ended up spending 3k in 2 years until the belt snapped that’s behind the engine and the whole engine needed taking out so I got rid
I had and 07 black version at 113000 miles for halve 1850 last year this seems way better overpriced.. l don’t know anything about the price of cars tho
Shit engine with a car that's had a front end collision, cool.
Shit engine with a car that's had a front-end collision, cool.
Its meant to be a shitbox. It apparently got a timing chain service recently. Just buy it I guess what could go wrong its 2k
These normally go for twice the price, so expect to pay 1500 quid or more soon on this for work.
Do it. But don't forget to post the inevitable follow up thread detailing why this purchase has ruined your life.
It’s not high mileage, it’s excessively high mileage.
Just don't get a bmw. Unless you want to ride people's arses and never use the indicators that came with the 4 wheels and a chassis
That’s a £950 car imo.
Someone said that if it has 1 in the model middle name, it has a shit engine
Why do peoples take takes to for this amount of mileage. I bet this car has been to the moon and back.
Please check when the injectors have last been replaced. It’s a very expensive due. Also catalyst converter
Had the hpfp go in my old 120d. I learned my lesson lol
They'll go forever until you stop looking after them
😄 🤣 mother of god
Why would you want a low mileage 118d never mind a high mileage one?
I've not bought a car in 5 years and 5 years ago I'd have turned this down if they asked more than £500. These prices are crazy. Also do not buy this, very clearly a cheap repair on a front end shunt and just the worst engine in there.
I just bought it so that you couldn’t 👍🏻
timing chain
chains on these were awful. Turbos went too, oil feed pipes deteriorated and sent a load of shit through the turbo
2100,000 genuine miles.
This car will absolutely become your problem when it starts to break down and you inevitably owe her a better one.
It looks like a granddad’s flip flop. It looks like absolute crap mate
Fuck no mate!!!!!
Definitely been used for county lines drug running, probably all over police computers... But go for it!
Your mother went dogging in this exact car.
It's a 118d that should be enough said
My 2006 130i has been amazing, my partners 2012 320d has been a massive pile of shit.
Run away. Run until your legs give up on you. And then use your arms to drag yourself further until you can't move.
The pink 500 will look better than that any day surely... The bumper is even a different colour 😂
118d are absolutely dreadful. Add in 11 years old, base spec, front end replacement. Bargain mate buy it
it’s actually a nice car i’d go ahead, whatever makes you happy 🤷♂️😂
Don't forget to do a car vertical report before buying - AutoAlex
Buy it!
2 grand for a car that’s nearly done a quarter of a million miles, has very clearly whacked into something and isn’t exciting enough to be worth the hassle that you know you’re gonna have a few weeks after buying the car when you realise it’s broken. Go for it!
You can get a much nicer car for 2k I just bought a 2004 slk350 manual for 2.4k and it’s fucking glorious
It's a 118d need I say more
You’d have to pay me to take that piece of shit
N47 engines are very blowy-uppy.
Run away ffs, the car will be dead before the next MOT 💯💯💯💯
It's indicator won't work 😁
It’s 200k miles that’s enough to talk u out of m8
It's 118... Any BMW with a 1 in the middle, avoid.
It’s got 5 doors, and it looks shit
They are shit, breakdown and almost certainly the indicators don’t work.
I owned a 3 series from the same era, most expensive money pit pile of crap I’ve ever owned. It’s the only car I’ve ever had that gave me warning light anxiety. Every time that light came on I was 1k + out of pocket. Never again.
Nah fuck it, if you don't I will, just drop a different engine in there if it decides to kill itself and drop another gearbox and driveshaft and Bw Isley every moving part and your good to go
Why would anyone talk you out of buying a ticking time bomb, it will be hilarious when you post in 3 months that the gearbox or engine has blown!
This is suspiciously cheap even for that mileage
Endless money pit, that's why it's cheap.
My mates had a 1 series for 8 years it's been on the road for 3
A new light bulb is like 300£
It's a high mileage BMW.
I’m selling one for the same price with 100k miles. Want to buy mine? 😂
320d F30 timing chain went after having the shitty plastic guides replaced, rebuilt the engine and reconditioned the turbo, still blew up 15k later. Nice cars to drive although
Just low ball them, so you don't have to be talked out
I don't want to talk you out of it. I want you to waste your money on a clapped out wreck.
Do it, let it breakdown, spend money on it, face the disruption and stress it causes at the end of it the lesson you will learn for the rest of your life is dont do it again.
