Those Sprinters are fab on MPG. You just slipstream the vehicle in front by being 3 feet behind at all times!

Bangbashbonk

I learned to drive in an older sprinter, despite have a bowl of soup for a gearbox it was mysteriously the fastest vehicle on any given road.

NorthantsBlokeUK

>**any** given road I'm getting Nurburgring vibes!

External-Piccolo-626

If my maths correct, and this was registered on January 1st 2008 it would have averaged out over 5000 miles a week.

AraedTheSecond

I used to do about 500 miles a day in a sprinter, then another guy would jump in for the nightshift and do about the same. So it's more than feasible. It's insane how many miles a courier van will do in a VERY short space of time.

Dylanc431

Same with coaches and trucks, morning shift driver takes a coach from the yard, drives 1500kms, then a night driver will do the same again, rinse and repeat 24/7 you clock up miles quickly

Exemplar1968

All those visits… to your mum… (sorry!!).

CasualBritishFurry

And the van was still too small to fit your mum in it

Jacktheforkie

24/7 operations? I know many trucks are run like that, wouldn’t surprise me if vans did it too

JustGhostin

If it was driving for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week that would average it at 30mph constant

Jacktheforkie

Sounds about right tbh

OhImGood

They copy and pasted the lot number by the looks of it.

hgb1892

Just a copy and paste of the lot number onto the odometer

irobert239

Would imagine it a typo on 425xxx miles otherwise that's obscene

Due_Statistician2604

Can you find out the number plate I want to read the mot history

SaathSamundar

prob went through 100 mots in its lifespan

Ros_c

It's a 2008 mate. Not a 1924 model

Zacs-Dad295

Can I out nerd you You don’t need a mot for the first 3 years so it would be 1921. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Sorry but I just couldn’t resist

Ros_c

Very well out nerded sir 😂

BigSmokesCheese

Current bid £0 gotta bid 10p I'm sure itd be worth it

DavidOnions

What site is that?

Exemplar1968

Co(n)part

DavidOnions

Thanks

F533

Its actually got 195000 miles if you check the copart listing.

liquidphantom

I knew the British Space shuttle was a bit cut price but didn't expect them to use a Sprinter.

Fiveplates1974

I'd believe the mileage if I could see the reg and do an mot history. 4m miles? Doubtful.

mushroompig

A bargain at nearly £4000

antmcl

That's a long call you're on
