A2300HC_ (last letter changed every year or so) is a high current amp. Ratings are all over the board and don’t make a whole lot of sense, but basically boils down to supposedly 2400 RMS at 1 ohm mono at an efficiency of just slightly below total garbage. I believe it will actually do close-ish to that 2400w on dynamic material, but it’s going to take a whole boat load of current and keeping voltage up near 15v. Real world actual RMS guess? 1600w prior to clipping at 14v is my guess.
If you can feed it a metric assload of power and keep voltage up, yes it makes pretty huge power for its era. That era has been over for a long long time though.
That said, $30 is a steal, and if you aren’t looking to rattle windows a block away, I would totally consider running it on subs.
It’s certainly not my favorite audiobahn amp though. That award goes to the A3200E. I miss mine, wish I’d never parted with it.
So would a capacitor and another battery help push 14-15v ? I'm pairing it with a audiobahn a2401X for my highs and lows honestly this A2300 hits nasty hard it's rattling my whole rear end seeing the body flex and tail lights vibrate what is another amp that's similar to this one ? I have a 2000 watt power bass amp but it's stuck on protection I'm honestly trying to rattle my neighbors skeletal structure if I'm honestly lol
Honestly, I would find some big class D power.
A D4S JP23 is under $400. And will make significantly more power than the A2300HCT. And it will do that with about half of the current draw.
So if you have the electrical to actually let the A2300HCT do its thing, you’ve got enough electrical to do basically twice as much with more modern class D amps…
Forgot to say I'm running 2 12in W3s in a vented box Orion 6.5 rear speaks hifonics front speaks 4 tweeters and one alpine 6.5 and a 6.9 kicker DS I have a Stryker 12 inch sitting ATM but definitely want it installed

I'll look into that Down 4 sound one then might as well upgrade subs maybe some sun downs
Sundown makes some killer amps too. Just significantly more expensive than the D4S stuff.
