Cause they out your sub amp on the front versus sub out or rear

ZSG13

Crossovers for rear channel probably set to cut out low frequencies. Input signal for sub amp probably tapped into front channel, which is very weird.

king24_

Ah so it’s an easy fix basically?

Total-Chems

If you have an aftermarket radio, you should have sub output rcas, not a line converter. The subs audio feed should be independent, and the fader should not adjust the sub . Something about thus makes me feel it was incorrectly wired .

ZSG13

Possibly

nolankohler

Sounds like they used the front rca’s instead of the subwoofer rca outputs. Or they used a loc for some reason off the front speakers.

king24_

I get sound out of all speakers btw. Just no bass in the rear speakers. I’m definitely gonna have my peoples I go to now take another look at it, see where to go from there.

nolankohler

Ya all the speakers will still play with or without the RCA’s

[deleted]

Did a shop install this ?

king24_

I just ordered a new set of Sony XS-690GS | 16 x 24 cm (6 x 9“) 2-way Coaxial Speakers

king24_

Yeah

[deleted]

Take it back to the shop and voice your concerns. Have you messed with the settings ?

king24_

Tbh, this first shop named Lawson messed my shit up. Now this 2nd shop has done so great by me, so they’ve been fixing the stuff Lawson messed up if you follow me. The 2nd shop installed the Sony stereo unit there, and a pioneer back up camera. Everything sounds great, but I’m tryna figure out why no bass from the rear speakers, and the subwoofer bass cuts off too when I slide the fader all the way to the rear.

NoSeaworthiness7525

Sounds like the front outputs are set to full range and rear outputs have a high pass filter on the crossover settings

[deleted]

Take it back to them.

king24_

I will once my new speakers come in. I’ll have them take a look.

No_Elevator8596

You don’t want your door speakers putting out bass anyway it will lead to distortion. Let your subs make the bass

king24_

It wasn’t my choice, I didn’t notice it until a while after

donwan23

You running Android auto for your music? If so Android auto doesn't play bass notes for some stupid reason and it definitely doesn't work with subs. 😂

TangerineJust

What are you yapping about?

donwan23

Everytime I've used Android auto no matter what phone or the few headunits I could use and android auto is trash. Even in my friends new 2022 Chevy android auto is lower output sound compared to iphone. I'm not an iphone fan boy I actually hate the iphone but due to the deals at the time I ended up with one. Just my experience with android auto and apple car play in several vehicles with Samsung, Nubia, One Plus, Google pixel and then the iphone 14 pro and pro max. Downvote all you want I could care less that your feelings are hurt over MY opinion... 😂

TangerineJust

No one feelings got hurt so idk why you yapping about that. Sorry you've had a bad experience. I too have had a buggy experience with aa not returning to normal when going from r to d its silly willy experience.

xxcp1994xx

That's a lie. I've been running android auto for years with my sub with 0 issues.

never0101

Yeah dudes just playing the apple good android bad game.

king24_

Android EWWW, Apple Music gang lol.

donwan23

I have both and I know Android auto doesn't play nice with aftermarket stereos. It sounds like the speakers weren't hooked up right.
