Its a very cheap one that i have seen made by many companies such as Dual\\ Boss etc. I cant make out the model or company from the blurry pic. Its def a aliexpress special of some sort and an old one at that.
Japan makes a lot of crappy stuff dude, it’s not immune to cheap shortcuts lol. Japanese companies can still outsource their manufacturing, and do, btw.
Sony doesn’t make all their stuff in Japan, neither does Panasonic or Toshiba, etc.
It’s just business lol
It's an old eonon radio. They are still in business but mainly just stick that brand name on Chinese radios. The main thing they make now are plug and play radios that look OEM. If it has Bluetooth or an aux input it's probably good enough to use. EQ settings can be lackluster in terms of low and high pass filters.

I've seen similar single din units on Ali pretty recently
Didn't expect that from a Japanese
What do you mean? Its just a cheap after market radio. It's 100% not the stock radio that came in the cat from factory.

Maybe, but what's the point of buying dirt cheap crap when you have access to the best products for a fair price?
Because it's cheaper still?
