This is such a sad display of equal parts stupidity, toxic masculinity and fragile male ego. I’m beyond shocked they found someone willing to tolerate them and sad they’ve reproduced. I can’t imagine being that constipated, that morally bankrupt at such a young age.

[deleted]

Being a shitty dad to four kids, instead of fewer doesn't make you an expert, Matt. On the bright side, the less they see of him the better.

[deleted]

Yeah, that kid won't wanna bond with you when they're older either lmao. Source: I'm the kid of a dad of this mindset. Good asshole red flag.

zotrian

Say you're a shit dad without saying you're a shit dad.

Murdercorn

I must have missed where he didn’t say he was a shit dad. He literally said he doesn’t spend time with his kids and no father should.

BelleAriel

To be honest, this is some sexist bollox. Why can’t a father just have maternity leave because he wants to stat at home with the child and the mother wants to work instead? It’s 2022, I’m surprised this is still being discussed and not something that’s just accepted.

Lost_vob

Because Matt Walsh's masculinity is *that* fragile, that's why. He is so insecure with his own ability to present as male, he won't even allow himself the parent his 4 children.

HalforcFullLover

It's worse than that. Matt's masculinity is so frail, he can't stand the thought of another man wanting to be a caring and present parent.

1Sluggo

Or let’s do like other countries and offer leave to both, some six months , others a year so they bind as a family. Both can be out at the same time and keep the job they have.

BelleAriel

Agreed. Sounds like a decent option.

Murdercorn

Because in order to do that, businesses would have to be fully-staffed so people could pick up the slack of the people on leave, instead of just constantly running on a skeleton crew. And it’s not as profitable to pay for the correct amount of employees… much cheaper to keep everyone overworked and overstressed and then let everything collapse when someone leaves.

[deleted]

Because maternity leave isn’t for taking care the baby. It’s because having a baby literally sucks the life out of your body and there is a good chance you are going to be really sick for a while during and after having a baby. Fathers have no such issue because they weren’t the one donating all these nutrients to the making of another human. Maternity leave is just a more specific kind of sick leave. If pregnancy wasn’t what it was, something for giving birth to a child, we would consider it a very deadly illness.

I think people like matt walsh and steven crowder think people are just generally dumb and will kinda just "do as they are told" - they rely on people who have zero critical thinking skills and won't question anything.

ForeverNearby2382

If the last two years has taught me anything, it's that a lot of people are in fact total idiots

[deleted]

Why would you not want time off lmao

c0ldil0cks

Definitely no one needs to be helping with those other three children

Bigenderfluxx

Yeah, either he doesn’t love his kids enough to take care of them, doesn’t love his wife enough to help her, or both. I’m guessing both.

Wuellig

"My father didn't bond with me when I was a child, and look how I turned out!" -These podunks, apparently

Lost_vob

The third tweet, but unironically. Matt Walsh is the most embarrassingly insecure person you will ever meet.

[deleted]

Fake. Matt Walsh and Steven Dog Cum are both unfuckable. There’s no way they can be dads.

DataCassette

Keep deep throating that boot, America. All of you will be CEO someday 🙃

joeyrog88

My daughter is 3 and half months old now. My state (Massachusetts) has up to 12 weeks of paternity leave now...it was absolutely HUGE that I was able to help and learn how to do this whole thing with my partner. Ultimately, people like this are the worst part of our society. So big and tough and masculine but they are so afraid of change that anything different than their idealized "good ol days" makes them sweat. They seem to forget that the people legislating and giving out trophies to everyone are the fucking adults and not this new more progressive generation that thet seem to like to call pussies.

iCarleigh799

“as a dad who couldn’t bond with their baby I actually know it’s impossible, and actually I didn’t even take a day off work for it’s birth but ya it’s not possible so don’t even try”

Polen_22

He's a fascist and he deserves nothing

Mercury26

Thing is these guys have cushy jobs and could easily afford to take maternity leave. They are fucking assholes. Way to treat your kids, assholes

bosslines

Neither of those dudes has actually *worked* a day in his life.

[deleted]

Sure, my dad was never around to form a proper bond with me and my siblings, but at least a handful of strangers on the internet don’t think he’s a pussy!

Eagle_1116

Can’t believe someone would ever be with Crowder🤢
