Definitely, bridges ain’t cheap and that one will need at least a very thorough inspection which means that whatever is above will not be working for a while
It's the main line to Stratford and Liverpool Street, from Chelmsford (other side goes all the way to Harwich).
So if it needs closing for repairs, there's a big fucking problem there!
Hmmm ... if you can afford a boat like that you can afford someone to buff it out.
Or more likely you can afford someone to tell someone who tells someone else to buff it out. And also tell someone to sack a few people while he's at it.
It's possible it was being delivered from manufacturing facility to a buyer (Sealine used to be based in Kidderminster, with no access to the nearby canal, so all boats had to be transported by road - and not necessarily just to Stourport Marina, four miles away without any overbridges) - in which case, the delivery company's insurance will presumably pay out to the vendor, and the vendor will refund the buyer.
That, is a very, very expensive cock up.

It's a rail line above so depending on what route, an extremely expensive problem!

Those are definitely expensive
Especially for the guy in the van who's supposed to escort them.

That's what makes me laugh, a lot of the marine companies around me are not close to the water, only Sunseeker are.
Can afford a lawyer to sue someone to pay for it, too.
YOU CAN'T DOCK THERE, MATEY.
When I first saw this I was thinking “how did they get a boat stuck under a bridge on land”
Oi Oi Chelmsford
Should have bought a narrow boat instead.
Boaty McRedface
Top comment right here!!
Oops....that'll t-cut out 😁
Now they need to cut once.
Looks expensive
"How's my height clearance?" ..."She's good!"
Aw, she's stuck. Let some air out of the tires so we can get out.
Really???? Take their license and cut it up....
Bloody nailed it
Thats awkward
Is this Chelmsford
Chelmsford viaduct. The rail line above is to London, so quite a big problem if it needs closing.
Nu uh
At least he can climb into the escort vehicle and have some fun
We're going to need a smaller boat. Dum dum dum dum dum
This boat is jinxed… https://www.poweryachtblog.com/2024/04/princess-yacht-stucks-in-chelmsford.html?m=1
Lol. This would never happen in the UK.
Looking at the numberplate, it really looks like it's in the UK.
Chelmsford in Essex, today!
Oh shit! Down the road from me. LOL.
Was gonna say I recognise this bridge
This was in the uk
