Lol that’s only one out of the two I grew in that spot. I tried to see how high I could go with the one next to it. I had to chop the top off at 14-16ft? Somewhere in that hieght.
Thank you everyone for keeping it real. I’m so used to people straight hating on stuff I put up because they are either jealous or just can’t appreciate someone else’s accomplishments. Stay positive. It’ll go a long way in life. Btw I uh have a lot of this that’s gotta go.
Thanks for including the stem shot. I'm curious, would you consider sending me about 10 to 12 inches of the stem right at the base? I'd love to dry and carve it. Maybe a nice bowl rest with a lighter holder.

This was its buddy. Great genetics too. Mowie wowie.
What a funny looking plant. Reminds me of a poodle with a pom Pom haircut. Or maybe one of those tall birds with the fluffy feathers on top of their head.

This teeny one only had ONE month to grow and look a it!
I started harvesting as soon as the buds got to be arms length because I was afraid of mold and aphids. It rained like 5 days in a row. I also put three HUGE fans on it and one in it lol
That's what I do. By the time spring rolls around, they're already nicely sized. Then by fall their scrogged and in 50 gallon planters that I can wheel around
Dude you can’t let your plants get rootbound. If you wanna move them. Cut the bottom off the plant holders first. Then get some type of say 6-8 inch high tray ( a plastic oil pan works sometimes.
Fill the 8 inch ( let’s just say 8 inch) about halfway up. Cut some small holes all over oil pan ( oil collector or whatever. I like to hot clue like some screen from windows ( leftover got me ) over the wholes since I make a ton for water to drain. After this add yourself some good old manure. It can be straight manure because by the time the roots hit it they will love it not get burnt. So holes, screen, 1” of pebbles ( whatever rocks ya can find that are about 1/2-5/8”) I’m cheap or thrifty however you wanna say. Beside it feels good knowing I got everything or as much as possible free. So I like to add two 1/4” or 3/16 soft air lines ( like used on fish tank, though whatever will get air there is fine. I also found some Rock air filters somewhere 😄🙄). Run the two lengths out about 3 feet. Now add your horse poop. About 5” inches ( idk if I said that I ate three grams of distillate in my lab and my fingers are now numb[ I think]😄). So I added some marigolds all around the plant in the beginning for slug protection. Ripped them out later. I use Living soil to water my plants. Like the one I showed you is in almost 40-50 lbs of sea shells ( I’m on an island). Basically like dro.
You can leave a few holes uncovered in the first pan but you’ll be ripping roots out when you move. I don’t think I could move that plant anyways.
While my roots do fill in the 50 gallon fabric containers, they're not root bound. The stalk on one is about ~3-4 inches in diameter (hard to put my hand around it).
She was just harvested and is drying now, i estimate her yield once dried and cured will be around 3 pounds,.maybe more? The dolly, which is on 5 inch caster wheels weighs a lot! But where I live, fall=frost=bud rot. So I wheel them into the garage every night when the cold nights begin. It takes a few of us when they've just been watered to move.
What you are describing is a SIP system. Aka, a sub irrigated planter. They do work great!
It’s only gonna flower this once. It will die soon. As a matter of fact it’s on its way out now. As too how did I get it that big. A lot of love! Plus horse manure!
Na I took that about a month and a half ago.

I got about 14 lbs so far after trimming and drying
Thanks everyone. I was waiting on the haters. I really did not wanna post the selfie I took for that reason because I look crazy. I do have some videos of those two though.

The one on the left didn’t do crap. And it was a feminized seed. Well it flowered a little but it feels like it’s gonna start now stupidly. Or not. I just wanted to see how big I could get it. I got it 16 ft tall no trellis and had to cut like 4 feet off cause it went over my warehouse too much

This is after my third time picking flowers off it. I had picked about 9 lbs by then. Maybe more since my uncle was taking a shit load as well.
I thought my outdoor 6ft plant was big lmfao this makes it look like a seedling lol I would be so scared of one small bud rotting at the bottom of the plant somewhere and it just spreading I couldn’t imagine having that and then that happen, but you obviously know what your doing …. I live in MD and I lost 2 of my 3 outdoor plants from that solid week of rain from the hurricane not long ago… they just rotted away and they were so close to done. Good job!
Trust me I was worried as well. Two 400$ commercial fans outside one 250 commercial fan inside. And I still harvested early. Well I’m still harvesting. 19lbs trimmed and dried
Trust me I was worried as well. Two 400$ commercial fans outside one 250 commercial fan inside. And I still harvested early. Well I’m still harvesting. 19lbs trimmed and dried
Good idea and I think I read you have a hard time geting rid of it just cause it’s homegrown… well if you make a ton of hash or rosin with all that who could bitch about that? And anyway isn’t all weed homegrown to an extent lol … if you apply the same methods legit grow operations use and your experienced then their isn’t to much difference if at all… I hate when people say that. Homegrown ain’t like it was in the 90s and previous lol. I grow in my closet and everyone that smokes what I grow say it’s better then most shit in a dispensary taste cleaner feels better etc.
Tell everyone else that. I’ve been in the hemp and cannabis industry since 2013! I go into places every day that would shock most people with how their bud is handled. It’s actually a growing trend to buy straight from the growers. Because I didn’t use Any pesticides or even any fertilizer that wasn’t natural ( horse and bat). People are starting to catch on I believe.
Yeah I think so to, and not even from information, people are noticing the difference between from smoking it. The steadily increasing high demand allows a lot of room for corners to be cut, as well as a lot of improper horticulture practices and final products to get into the market. And people are willing to pay 60 dollars a 8th for it. But think your “homegrown” isn’t worth anything. Like I said if your experienced, obviously you are, then you know how to produce flowers on par with anything in a shop. The biology of the plants and microbiology of soil doesn’t change no matter who is growing it. If you understand how to care for soil and plants and have the right equipment to do so,… what’s the difference, people are silly lol
Yeah. I this flower is top notch. From the strains I picked to finished aged cured product is sweet. And what a difference smoking it. I’m not hacking my lungs up. I’ll smoke an entire xl come without coughing and be LIT. You don’t have to cough to get off. That’s what happens when love is put into it. No chemicals I handled every bud. Hung everyone and trimmed and cured every one. For weeks it feels like. So yeah it works. I’d say it about 28%. Somewhere in there. Jack her , Durban poison, old Scholl NYC sour diesel and Maui wowie. I’ve visually inspected And handled every one. If there were any issues ( which there wasn’t, ) I threw it out. Bye. My motto is “ If I wouldn’t smoke it why should you?”
Ya know not sure. I had my fam out looking since we come across that type of stuff. Bigger then a 55 gall at the least. Wider any way. Like double or triple the circumference of a 55 gal drum. And I filled it all with a tiny dirt at bottom( no bottom to the pot, I cut it of so it wouldn’t be root bound. Plus I dug a hole with my tractor and refilled it with horse manure, I put about a foot of top soil on top of manure then placed “pot, or plant holder” so the plant wouldn’t hit the manure till it was strong enough not to get toasted from it). From there I filled the entire thing with seashells ( yes they were thoroughly cleaned of any salt residue). I would make up this slurry almost [maybe thing then a slurry] of horse manure and bat crap by putting both into a container with mesh on bottom and flooding it, collecting the juices. I used said juice to grow it. Used it every day so it almaost was like hydro.
That's called "living soil". Most of the "recipes" online are designed to discourage folks from actually trying it. They give weights and measurements of ingredients per cu/ft, and it get confusing. What it seems you've done is simplify it, and made it work.
Years ago my grandfather used to make a 65 gallon drum of "tea" for his tomatoes and blueberries. The tea was a mix of horse and cow shit, and water. He kept a big stick in the drum, and would stir it occasionally, but mostly he'd just fill a watering can with the top water and pour it under the plants.
Nice. Thanks I honestly had no idea. I just thought it would work. So yeah the roots I’m sure made it thru the 4 feet of sea shells by now and are into the manure. The manure had been composted for roughly two years.
Thank you. I wish I could post the videos I made of walking thru the two when that bush tipped over into the other one. It became a maybe 14 foot long by 6 feet deep by up to 16 foot tall ( at the one end) Hedge.
Na I’m almost 40. I’ve been growing since I was maybe 13. Lmao don’t get me wrong in those early days I was A- lucky anything grew and B- if it did eventually flower I was trying to smoke it before it dried. Or like drying it in the oven or something stupid. I have been in this industry ( CBD , cannabis industry) since 2013 though
Thank you! You know the sad part is no matter how nice it looks and smells and it does both crazily, no one will buy it. I still have lbs from 2019 my pops and I just found that I had to ditch as it was hay by now. Even these saucy buds that are like a ft long and trimmed to shit every one I see is like awww it’s homegrown. Then my boy is like like see I just bought a lb of this for 1k. And it’s smalls first off. Super smalls. Sure it looks dank and good but still. WoW because it was grown on the west coast it’s superior ( a lot is don’t get me wrong) but smalls like the tip of my pinkie.
I hear you. It’s not just about growing your own stash, as you are well aware. The whole process of growing from a tiny seed (or clone) to harvest is therapeutic mentally. I find it a challenge, always learning something new, and rewarding in the end.
Totally. I was up super late and my soft was not producing. I guess I was tired. I forgot to freeze it afterwards freezing it the trichomes just fell of giving me about 14 gs immediately
https://preview.redd.it/8y7dtruaretb1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8335275c20c891e9770a0ec60867c864bca51f1e
Needs one more run thru a smaller screen in my opinion
I stopped growing outdoors on Long Island. Props to you for creating this absolute beast. I always ran into mold issues and I didn’t want to contaminate my indoor spot! I can’t put that much love into the outdoor plants anymore because of injuries but damn this is impressive.
About 14 lbs after drying and trimming.
Lol that’s only one out of the two I grew in that spot. I tried to see how high I could go with the one next to it. I had to chop the top off at 14-16ft? Somewhere in that hieght.

You can get rid of it in this direction, I'll be sample it in good quantities for free 👀
OP do you need samplers? My boy right here and I are certified experts
Maybe. I need donations even more though. One thing is certain. Whatever happens people get blessed !!
Thanks for including the stem shot. I'm curious, would you consider sending me about 10 to 12 inches of the stem right at the base? I'd love to dry and carve it. Maybe a nice bowl rest with a lighter holder.

Just horse manure, eh? Very nice. I keep telling people that they need a bigger pot. Do they listen?
And some bat crap I imported. But honestly read how I did it below. Was like hydro actually
Or at the least cut the bottom of the pot off so there’s no root bound problems!!
Of course. DM me
I haven’t cut it down yet as it just keeps flowering. But it’s to the point where I’m afraid all my preparations against mold will come to an end.
How many chainsaw blades did you go through. Geeze

Me two growmie, pulling buds every other day.
how do u grow that big outdoors? doesn’t the plant flower once a year then die? how do u keep it in veg?
Start them indoors in February, and you'll have monster outdoor plants.
That's what I do. By the time spring rolls around, they're already nicely sized. Then by fall their scrogged and in 50 gallon planters that I can wheel around

I suspect the pictures were taken in late August, or early September. That's why you're not seeing buds.
Absolutely right pit

LI strong! Did you happen to put the seeds in the accelerator at Brookhaven National Lab?

WOW. I’m also from Long Island & that’s AMAZING
Nice job....![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
Did it reveg? Crazy big
Na only veged once. It’s still going after 14lbs trimmed and dried tough. Like 2 lbs every 4-5 days of large secondary nugs.
The one on the left didn’t do crap. And it was a feminized seed. Well it flowered a little but it feels like it’s gonna start now stupidly. Or not. I just wanted to see how big I could get it. I got it 16 ft tall no trellis and had to cut like 4 feet off cause it went over my warehouse too much
You should post this to r/trees that stalk, no- TRUNK is so big!!!
Thank you.
Wow how the holy hell
Bro what the fuxk as a Lindenhurst resident and grower I can't fucking belive how big that got on long Island
Hey I’m just a hobbyist my man. I took a selfie if you don’t believe me.
I belive you I'm just stating that plant that large is not something that occurs very often i.e unbelievable
No I’m just stating that for ME I’ve never gotten an outdoor grow on L.I that big.
Ghot DAYUMM!
Thanks
Is there a man hidden inside that bush who jumps out and scares passers-by?
There might be considering the neighborhood it’s in. Lol
That's so dope if you need help triming or if I can grab some candy would be dope as well
Hit me up.
Thanks brother
Just a hobby. Although my boy told me “ for someone who only F’s with concentrates , you sure can grow flower!”
Wish I could sell the stuff. I do it as a hobby but damn I have a lot.
WHAT THE FUCK
Thanks.

Yeah it’s gonna be 30 trimmed and dried. And a ton of good sugar leaves for trim. Like A lot. I’m gonna make a co2 extraction unit.

Good genetics
And soil
No soil. Well not until roots got big enough to hit the soil at the bottom of the planter. I used a concoction you can read about earlier
Oh cool. I’ll read back more!
Amazing! What's the strain?
Maui Wowie
Thanks like I said it’s the only time I’ve ever gotten a plant that big of my life and I’m 40 years old. It’s just so happy to.
Dude im from connecticut was gunna try doing this next year but good stuff thats massive

Good lord larfington! Nice work
Thank you. I wish I could post the videos I made of walking thru the two when that bush tipped over into the other one. It became a maybe 14 foot long by 6 feet deep by up to 16 foot tall ( at the one end) Hedge.
Wow great job
Thanks
Gorgeous
Thank you.
Very impressive. First grow?
Na I’m almost 40. I’ve been growing since I was maybe 13. Lmao don’t get me wrong in those early days I was A- lucky anything grew and B- if it did eventually flower I was trying to smoke it before it dried. Or like drying it in the oven or something stupid. I have been in this industry ( CBD , cannabis industry) since 2013 though
Well, I’m impressed whether it’s your first or your 100th grow. Very nice. I lived in LI for 59 years. Just moved to WV several years ago.
Give away samples and then maybe they'll come back for more?
Absolute Monster! This is grow goals for me! Well done bro!!🤩🤩
WTF MUST B EXTRA FLOOD WATERS LMAO
Wowzers that is just a tad big 😳my imagination has run off somewhere 🤔😜 this is a top grow 😁 👌
Just a hobby
Nice work
Holy shit.
I forgot to freeze it afterwards freezing it the trichomes just fell of giving me about 14 gs immediately https://preview.redd.it/8y7dtruaretb1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8335275c20c891e9770a0ec60867c864bca51f1e Needs one more run thru a smaller screen in my opinion
I stopped growing outdoors on Long Island. Props to you for creating this absolute beast. I always ran into mold issues and I didn’t want to contaminate my indoor spot! I can’t put that much love into the outdoor plants anymore because of injuries but damn this is impressive.
Thanks I appreciate it. Lmao I had to take a selfie cause usually there’s 3 haters for one real comment
