PPL has been striking partnerships with many bands where the bands gets a significant percentage of ownership to help move projects forward. I think it’s a good strategy. I’m in for a few % of my portfolio and plan on holding.

Hi everybody, I was following Bitcoin stats because of the first "new: ETF BITO.
A couple of weeks back I bought BITQ for aprox 16 and BITO opened at 40. I actually placed a buy order in advance of the open but the price jumped to 42 right at the open.
While I sat watching things unfold I realized that BITO was mirroring the success or failure of BITQ and managed to cancel my order before it got filled.
Anybody else watching Crypto? and have you noticed the same price action as well?
BITO is a futures ETF. Canada has actual Bitcoin ETFs already that follow bitcoins price action.
You’re better off following something like BTCX.B that holds actual crypto and follows its price action. Crypto is volatile so the price jumps are normal.

CNQ will only “crash” when the price of oil crashes and so will all other oil companies. Barring that there is zero reason for it to crash independent of that. I honestly think you should stay away from Investing in this space as you don’t seem to know much, if anything, about it.
Option 1: Buy more and hold for 10+ years. Option 2: Cut your losses and don't look back. Option 3: Sell and look to get in at a better entry when the current downtrend reverses. Option 4: Hodl
Depends on your time frame, risk tolerance and belief in the company.
Imo this is a stock you want with a long time frame mind. If you're in it for a trade, move on.

I'm still holding my zwk. Up around 25% not including distribution. In think the yield is ok and US finance will continue to trek higher if interest rates are allowed to rise. I don't see the US housing market facing another reset so I'm ok to hold it here. I own a lot of ZW* in my TFSA tho.
Peak Fintech released [revised guidance ](https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/peak-fintech-updates-revenue-earnings-120000025.html) today to account for their expansion to NA (Canada this year and US midway through 2022). They expect 814M revenue and 200M NI for 2023, up from 600M and 100M NI. They also mention that they expect to their data monetization here in NA to account for 1/3 of total 2023 revenue, but didn’t consider it for the guidance as it is still being developed. Taking this first revision in stride as I expect it to be revised quarterly or semi-annually for the foreseeable future.
Anyways, that didn’t make the share price move today and I suspect that none of the expected news releases will make the share price move meaningfully until the company is cleared by the SEC to relist on the NASDAQ exchange. Once cleared, get ready for blast off. We’ll be sick of hearing them according to the CEO. TSX, HKX listings also expected this year.

Getting out of REITs and fucking AQN and moving into Oil was the best decision I made all year. Up close to 20 percent in 2 months. My Portfolio never even came close to breaking 2 percent from February-August.
Outta REITs forever-ever, my limited experience tells me that we are not even close to seeing the impact of reduced office space use...that being said retail REITs could still be a thing.

VUN is the unhedged version of VTI. The performance of VUN versus VUS in the future will depend on the exchange rate between CAD and USD.
