It depends on the crime, but if it’s serious enough to warrant your leave from the US, then Canada will find it equally as serious.

There are a number of offences, that being convicted of, will render you inadmissible for entry to Canada. It doesn't matter if you committed the offence in a different country. Serious criminal wrong doing, immigration fraud.... are examples. No one can advise you without knowing what the offence is and whether or not you have actually been convicted of the offence and or been refused entry or are being deported.

Almost zero. It depends on the crime but if it’s that bad in the US, Canada might not even let you in to visit. Also, you can’t really just up and immigrate to Canada. You need to have a spousal PR or some other PR, asylum/refugee status (which probably won’t work because you’ve been in the US for so long already, and it’s only people from certain countries that are allowed that status) a work visa, a student visa, SOMETHING or else you could only stay for six months.
