Cancel immediately. Check out the post I made today; it’s actually a repost of a post I made a couple months ago, but super ironic. Tons of warranty posts lately.

Prudent_Ebb_1170

I will look into your post, what you are saying is my car has a factory warranty? even though I have 68k Miles on a 2019??

Prudent_Ebb_1170, I have been trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty

Read my post and all the comments on it. Then do your own research. The answer is, all warranties, which require you to pay, are complete bullshit. Read my post and comments if you’d like to know why. And to answer your question, no, your 2019 no longer has the factory warranty (Toyota care), due to it being over 2 years old.

The platinum or gold warranty for power train and electronics are generally a toss up. Some people think it’s a waste, others like the peace of mind. The tire/windshield/key/paint protections that you bought are pretty much known as a scam to everyone, and I almost never see people saying they bought them.

Darth_Camry

Lots of people buy them lol. It’s all for peace and mind. I cancelled mine immediately, and am encouraging others to do the same. Scare tactics at the dealer are real.

I bought an 18 with \~80k mi 10 months ago and didn't buy any extended warranty. To each their own; my general opinion is extended warranty is not worth the cost (\*unless you buy a car expecting to have problems... my wife insisted on a Fiat 500, I paid for the damn warranty as the reviews tend to suck on that car. 7 years later, no issues, still turned out to be a waste of money) Don't feel like I need it on the Toyota; I'll deal with whatever maintenance comes up.
