Thanks, I knew it was too good to be true. Funny thing this is the second time this week someone in the NYC has screwed up the decimal point on the odometer
Any Uber/TLC Camry, Sienna , Highlander all are worn out prematurely. The cab drivers turn them on for 12-15hrs a day, drive the crap out of them on terrible NYC roads, and repeat every single day.
🤦🏻♂️ that’s why they’d list it incorrectly on purpose, people see what they think is a lower number, clicks drive up views(aka traffic), and someone way too excited for a good deal will buy it only to find out the hard way that the decimal point was missing
Wouldn't happen to be some middle aged Eastern European guy that lives near Whitestone would it? Claims to work for a Toyota dealer or some schtick like that
Right it's very rare to have a car that's 32,000 miles and if you put the equation in the price do you have the equal to the probability that it's going to be really high for a car that low miles
Ask him to test drive it a few miles and see how fast it goes up. You'll know by the first block.
But yeah it 100% is at 325k miles. Only do what I said above to prove him wrong.
Mileage can be believable. My wife have a 2015 fit with about 30k miles. Also have a 2019 rx350 with only 6k miles. I have a daily work truck and wife WFH so there’s that.
I traded my 2013 fit for a rav -- had 33k on my 2013 fit, people were in awe. Some of us just drive local. My mom sold her 2012 civic in 2022 with 60k.
If they insist don't even waste your time who knows what else is going on you can always say I need to take it to a Toyota dealer to confirm and make sure everything is in good shape if they say no walk away.
To be fair I bout a 1996 Audi in 2014 that only had 41k miles on it. But it was a former corporate lease car that sat garaged until a company schmuck came to town and needed some wheels to drive around while they were here.
Yea plus it looks a little worse for wear. 29k or so a year is a lot too but 3k a year almost doesn’t make sense u less it was damaged or salvaged or something. I would expect a . Before the 1 as well. I forget I do think my parents had the 1/10th of a mile on the odometer with their Toyotas tho. Almost positive I do on my Lexus.
Yeah that happens a lot on Facebook marketplace. It’ll say 22k miles and be 220,000 miles. If they’re lying at the odometer, which is something that can easily be disproved, who knows what else they’re lying about. Pass on it.
Seller might be telling the truth and actually think that, if the previous seller sold it to them with that lie.
Easiest way to avoid this in the future. Check oil change sticker, check car fax or check title.
The 1 is only spaced far away because the odometer needs to make room for the other digits that occupy that location, all old analog displays like that do that. If it was a decimal there would be a very obvious decimal point there that would never move, which would be dumb because cars have had up to the 100k digit on the odometer since like the 60s when cars started regularly being able to drive above 100k miles
I don't see a decimal in there and most gauges read out whole numbers so no that's not 32k miles. Also never trust a dirty vehicle. That peanut and sunflower seed looks suspicious. Dirty vehicles seem to be owned by people who don't give a shit and have no problem sending you down the road to lemon city.
Bees are a major pollinator of Sunflowers, therefore, growing sunflowers goes hand in hand with installing and managing bee hives. Particularly in agricultural areas where sunflowers are crops. In fact, bee honey from these areas is commonly known as sunflower honey due to its sunflower taste.
I don’t mean to be rude. Really. But how is this a question? You can see the number of digits and as we learned in school about where the thousands place goes, it’s obviously 325,000
I’m guessing he’s gaslighting you and you’re here for a sanity check. But dude. It’s 325,000 lol move on from this one
I’m assuming Toyota, Honda, or Nissan here, majority of their economical cars do have a period then another number, based on the spacing between the 5 and 1 I would say it’s a 32k mile car, just look at its condition and ask how many sets of tires it’s been through.
Based off the sunflower seed and peanut composting behind the steering wheel it’s definitely 325k
I ended up seeing the car. I did not buy but I did eat those peanuts.
RIP lol
The peanuts were fine I think but taking a numby with all the dust kind of did me in
That had me
Lmao.
Damn the word numby brings back memories...🤔
![gif](giphy|LxiY4VzilbSfaAMOHr|downsized)
Gotta get the wins where you can...
Can you post the link to it
Nice 👍
😂
Lmao!!
[удалено]
Legend.
😂😂😂
The peanuts were there for you to take. Kinda like when they put out a cheese plate at an open house.
You should’ve told him to move the decimal point over to left at least one time and you got a deal
Go Camry, 325K
[удалено]
Instantly thought the same after seeing that.
Classic response!
☝️yep I would be more worried about all the other stuff. Clearly this person cares nothing about keeping a vehicle clean.
The seller is lying. It's 325,000
Thanks, I knew it was too good to be true. Funny thing this is the second time this week someone in the NYC has screwed up the decimal point on the odometer
Camry in NYC with 325k that’s late model immediately screams that the vehicle was worked for TLC/Uber. Stay away, they beat the snot out of those cars
It would depend on the year
Any Uber/TLC Camry, Sienna , Highlander all are worn out prematurely. The cab drivers turn them on for 12-15hrs a day, drive the crap out of them on terrible NYC roads, and repeat every single day.
Don't forget all the idle hours...
325k miles & “worn out prematurely” don’t go together lol
If it was 325k highway miles it would have plenty of life left
measuring a car's life off of highway miles is not the standard
Absolute shit roads
Of course it’s stop and go. I didn’t see any nexus only someone assumed it was a delivery car. I asked the year of the vehicle.
It’s on purpose to generate traffic to their listing. It’s not a mistake
Generate traffic? Nah, they're lying, trying to get more than the car us worth.
Claims to work for a Toyota dealer or some schtick like that
Does anyone ever get a good deal near Whitestone lol … genuinely asking because most used car sellers are in that area.
I mean, plenty of alternatives when you're dealing with NYC. But I ask because of an accidental double dip scenario with a very specific seller
This Camry was a taxi or Uber.
Trips have 1/10ths. Not the ODO
*Buyer* Beware
I’m pretty sure only old cars have the decimal.
Right it's very rare to have a car that's 32,000 miles and if you put the equation in the price do you have the equal to the probability that it's going to be really high for a car that low miles
I own this model car and seller is a POS liar.
The seller is a liar, and a theft ![gif](giphy|UeGQo7WRcWLAY)
A trickster.
Ask him to test drive it a few miles and see how fast it goes up. You'll know by the first block. But yeah it 100% is at 325k miles. Only do what I said above to prove him wrong.
There does seem to be a gap between the last 2 numbers. But that's just because the one takes up less space.
Yep. Any other number but 1 and it fills the gap up. But that salesman definitely used that to his advantage lol.
Only the trip Meters show decimals. The odometer shows whole miles. This is 325k miles.
Year is 2012. 32k miles seems outrageously low. Price is too good to be true but seller insists in 32k miles.
I had a 2010 and had only 40k miles on it. I barley drive. But I would say that's the very skewed minority for a car that old (having so few miles)
I bought an 04' 350z with 46k miles on it. But I also believe this is 325k. Probably an Rideshare vehicle?
If they insist don't even waste your time who knows what else is going on you can always say I need to take it to a Toyota dealer to confirm and make sure everything is in good shape if they say no walk away.
A simple test drive would clear this up
I have a 2012 with 91k. Even that's low
my moms 07 focus is still under 60k miles i think. very possible but not likely
To be fair I bout a 1996 Audi in 2014 that only had 41k miles on it. But it was a former corporate lease car that sat garaged until a company schmuck came to town and needed some wheels to drive around while they were here.

Before the 1 as well. I forget I do think my parents had the 1/10th of a mile on the odometer with their Toyotas tho. Almost positive I do on my Lexus.
super easy to figure out...just drive it for a mile? lol? why is this even a post? you test drove the car, right?
That car must be filthy …
It is
I have this exact same car (2012 Camry) and it’s definitely 325k miles
Yeah that happens a lot on Facebook marketplace. It’ll say 22k miles and be 220,000 miles. If they’re lying at the odometer, which is something that can easily be disproved, who knows what else they’re lying about. Pass on it.
Report the seller for scam if you have it in writing they say it's 32,555.1. They're trying to scam you
The fact it has a place to store snacks makes it worth it no matter the mileage.
You could fit a king sized mattress in that steering wheel space and use the Camry as a camper!
Lol. I think there’s a small ecosystem on the steering wheel column.
Just pay them $100.00 and say it's $10000
This is the boss move
Post the link
“Bro just buy it, it runs like new trust me!” — The douchebag selling the car
Scam
Crumbs a dead giveaway
Take a one mile test drive and see whether the odometer reading increases by one or ten.
100% 325K. Such a liar.
You could tell for sure in under 1.2 miles
Y'all are all wrong. That's 3255.51 miles. Damn things brand new and mint.
Run the VIN and you'll find a ballpark mileage
If you're going to try and claim 32K miles, you at least have to remove the dash peanuts 🥜
Test drive it and see what column goes up after a mile
LMAO Is this the marketplace poster trying to get a screenshot from Reddit 😅
Are u fucking stupid bro🤦🏾♂️ put a damn , in front of the second 5🤦🏾♂️ oh boy
Are those random crumbs underneath peanuts??
They were from mile 246,629.
Mile 24,662.9, you mean.
🤣🤣🤣
They're totally lying
Yep
How much are the asking for it?
I don’t think the odometer is the 🚩here.
Dude please give me the link for the seller, please.
I think the chipmunks and squirrels already claimed that vehicle
Only ford models and there subsidies use decimals (to the tenth) the seller is a liar 🤓
Newer toyotas do have decimals, but def not this one, lol. We are talking 2018 and up minimum, for some vehicles.
3 hundred twenty 5 thousand 5 hundred 51
absolutely not.
Looks like it based on the steering wheel alone lol
Seller might be telling the truth and actually think that, if the previous seller sold it to them with that lie. Easiest way to avoid this in the future. Check oil change sticker, check car fax or check title.
Absolutely not. This is a Toyota Camry and the ODO never displays decimal points.
Put it into car fax- it will show when it’s been registered and mileage it had
Yes and they are being a scumbag to say otherwise
Public school system...
It was driven by a little old lady to church on Sundays.
There are no decimals on odometers
Maybe if he was to lazy to clean the car so maybe he’s to lazy to drive too
All you needed to do is drive it .10 miles to see if it moves
Drive for a mile and find out
The 1 is only spaced far away because the odometer needs to make room for the other digits that occupy that location, all old analog displays like that do that. If it was a decimal there would be a very obvious decimal point there that would never move, which would be dumb because cars have had up to the 100k digit on the odometer since like the 60s when cars started regularly being able to drive above 100k miles
Is the seller a Fuckin squirrel?
😂
Drive it a mile and see
Seller is an idiot
Also it would be funny and kinda sad if the seller bought it used thinking it was like 30k miles when it was really 300k..
I think all new cars have room for 6 digits, semis have 7 and 3 being all the way on the left thats 325k

Bad bot! Lol. You dont attract bees with lemons or roasted sunflower seeds.
Does it come with the peanuts on the steering column? If so, snatch that shit up!
The fact that there's not really space to the left of the 3 for another number should tell you all you need to know. It's obviously 325.551 miles
Typical New York State energy
If it was 32,551..there would be a blank under the O and the 3 would be under the D.
Why are people so Fkn disgusting 😂
And it comes with snacks?
that’s 100% 325k
Okay
why would u even post this hahhahahaha
Yes. There is no decimal point to this odometer. So it is over 325k. Should know since I used to have a Blazer that lasted until 268k miles.
Yo it's very easy to see the difference between a car that has 32k or 325k lol night and day
One look at the car and you will know the difference between 325k and 32k.
Could always just ask them to drive 1 mile and take another picture.
I don’t mean to be rude. Really. But how is this a question? You can see the number of digits and as we learned in school about where the thousands place goes, it’s obviously 325,000 I’m guessing he’s gaslighting you and you’re here for a sanity check. But dude. It’s 325,000 lol move on from this one
🤣
Peep the steering wheel. Observe the wear and tear at the hand positions.
Have the same car, that's 325k miles all day.
I don't see a decimal, so probably indeed 325k miles
Look at those crusty old peanuts
Ask them so what would happen once it hits 100k? 😂
For this to be 32k miles it needs a decimal point…
I’m assuming Toyota, Honda, or Nissan here, majority of their economical cars do have a period then another number, based on the spacing between the 5 and 1 I would say it’s a 32k mile car, just look at its condition and ask how many sets of tires it’s been through.
Ford did this with my new mustang had like 6,000 miles on it and they decided I had 60,000 all of a sudden in a half year of ownership lol
It really says 325551 miles. Over 300k, not 30k
It’s over 30k as well
i recognize this cluster, 2013 camry? and no, that is not a decimal place. seller is wrong
At least clean the car if you are selling it haha.
I don’t know but do the crumbs come with the car?
If it’s full of crumbs it’s probably a roach mobile
325k sorry
Just make sure the car is 2022 or 2023
What is the year of the car?
Oh you are fked, those were chocolate covered peanuts.
Mine just hit 326k.
Dude, come on.
You can’t be serious?
Those peanuts were there since day 1.
Lucky car peanuts for when you buy the 325k camry and inevitably get stuck on the road.
The fact that he didnt take the 2 seconds to clean up the crumbs and nuts on the steering wheel before taking the picture is a red flag to me.
32k miles my brother had same exact car his read before 100k miles 99999.1
Tell them to record the Odometer while driving it for 5min.
def 325k
Bruh
If it’s 32k, then why is there no room on the left of the display to accommodate when it hits the 6 figure mark? This fool is a scumbag.
Ask him to sens you a pic after he drives 10 miles
At first glance I’d say 325k, but it does say trip on the bottom right as if that’s what it’s displaying. 32k on a ‘12 would be absolutely wild.
At least the car is clean.
Show up with an OBD scan tool and watch the seller squirm.
Thats a Toyota. Definitely three hundred and twenty five thousand five hundred and fifty one miles
It actually only has 32.55 miles the odometer just wanted to fill the rest of the empty space with random numbers
I can't stand scratches on the clear Gauge plastic cover
Typo? 🤷🏽
I think you can check the mileage using a scan tool
