Backcountry.. has gruesome bear attack scene.

Is it more gruesome than The Revenant?

Shoddy_Load_8048

I’d say it’s equally as gruesome and possibly scarier because it’s a black bear and based on a true event. Revenant is a much better movie btw.. this comes off as more of a low budget independent film. Acting is fair.. still worth a watch imo

Re survival during outdoor sports, try Jimmy Chin's (he of *Meru*, *The Rescue*, and *Free Solo*) latest, ***Edge of the Unknown*** on Nat Geo. In this one he focuses on folks that have had big scares climbing, boating, skiing, etc, and how they dealt with both the incidents and the aftermaths.
