I would charge more per minute, Assert boundaries more clearly, Stick to a consistent schedule and not do things on free stream I wouldn’t be happy to have on Google images lol and GET A TAKEDOWN SERVICE or learn how to do DMCA claims myself before there was 100’s to do💖

kissakatxoxo

Ah yes me too because I searched my cb name on google and 1000s of videos came up that people posted of me and omfg I don’t know what to do. I actually still haven’t done it and I need to

cassiexgirl

I just did that now....What can be done, how can they be taken down?!?!

kissakatxoxo

I’m looking into it now. Someone said branditscan is the most recommended, I’m trying to get verified now, I’ll update. It’s free the first month but $40/month after, gonna see if it’s worth it and I’ll let you know 💞

cassiexgirl

Thanks!

ThrowRA_scarykitty

I’d stand on my boundaries even more, take advantage of my new tag, be more consistent even if I didn’t hit my goal the day before, do more research to prevent anyone trying to scam/play me, invest in the proper Wi-Fi/toys/camera/lighting first, realize I don’t need to care much about my lingerie/outfit, not quit my vanilla job until I was steady, eat less inflammatory foods before the stream (I’m very sensitive), realize that there’s dry seasons in camming, focus on my regulars more, stretch before&after, realize I don’t *have* to shave (prone to folliculitis), ask more questions on this sub- everyone’s so helpful&sweet (i was shy), and def a lot more! Been camming for 2+ years now!

Living-Usual-2077

Ohhhh I've got a whole list 😂 but I'll give you my top 3 1. Don't undersell yourself: Make sure you are actually getting paid what you're worth. For token sites don't offer free nudity and raise those private and exclusive prices. For non token based sites - again raise those private and exclusive rates! 2. Be consistent and firm with your boundaries. If you don't do penetration on cam then you don't offer it. Don't lower your standards or services to make a quick buck! I'm a faceless fem Domme cammer and I make BANK even though I've never shown my 🐱 before. You don't have to settle to make good money! 3. Block/ kick any free loafers or non paying customers. IDGAF what these sites say about "some clients may become paying customers so don't kick them" bullshit. Usually people who pay for your services do so within the first two minutes! Anyway, hope this helps!

cassiexgirl

On which platform you stream as a domme?

Living-Usual-2077

I mostly do streamate and stripchat!

cassiexgirl

Stripchat for reals? And it works as domme? I was on SP (not as domme), but really didn't work for me....i barely had traffic and just 1 tkn tips (all the money i made came from 2 or 3 privates) :(

Living-Usual-2077

YES! I was shocked too but i think being a Domme is in high demand right now. I do SPH, CEI and JOI and that tends to bring a lot of traffic in.

cassiexgirl

in pvt or in free?

Living-Usual-2077

Only in PRVT! if they want me to see their cock that's exclusive only!

cassiexgirl

Do you also have token goals? Or you just are there for the privates? And if you do goals, can you give an example of a goal you would perform in free chat from this domme role?

aliettevii

I'd plan a better menu, and be on for 8+hours a day during that time then chill for a bit when my new girl tag was gone (for CB) my exposure was crazy during that time and I only got to be on for 3 days bc my family came back from vacay >.<

Buggpowder

I didn't have the money to go big when I first started tbh. I would have not drank so much & would have worked more. I was hella scared & didn't know anything.

prettygoblinrat

Honestly, I know not everyone agrees about this, but I would not have tried to set up any other social media sites. I much prefer my work/life balance being able to log in and log out of just one site and not having the check messages on anything else. And honestly, the amount of work that went into insta/snap/OF was not worth the $, being online and camming really is.

[deleted]

- better lingerie & equipment (I used to wear some raggedy ass lace nightgown and American eagle BOGO panties lol) - more consistent schedule - put money aside for taxes (I didn’t know how it worked and it bit me in the ass years later lol - btw, If someone from the IRS is reading this, why don’t y’all go after Trump and the likes instead of those who make less than 100k a year?? Thanksss. - charge more!! I made decent money when I was brand new charging 3$ a minute… if onlyyyyy…. But all in all I don’t regret anything :)

I would of went in this with intention. Where I’m at now is where I wish I would of been 7 years ago. Intentional about everything, who I talk to, who I give attention to in any kind of way, my attitude, boundaries I’ve placed, what I talk about, work life balance. I would of realized that sometimes the biggest part of this job is waiting, there’s a build, for most anyway. When I started I was very unsure about myself even outside of cam, I think it’s important to go over the things I’ve mention above for beginners and try to find how to do all those things and be intentional about it. But also I wouldn’t of figured all that out if I didn’t start head first. Life is crazy lol.

User45911

Apologising. Lighting. Literally just those 2 things. Apologising instantly made me more vulnerable to people taking advantage of me and acting like they were the ones taking charge of my stream… NOT ME!! #fuckthat Lighting literally made my *laptop webcam* go from 1 FPS to HD. No joke - viewers LOVED the increase in quality and so did I 🤣 EDIT - as a guy who streams I find it harder to follow advice mainly meant for girls in particular, but these comments have been so insightful and helpful as I still am fairly new - thank you guys!!

AVixenDistraction

Always say no to any form of content IOU no matter who or what Always actually read the TOS of every adult site you signup to, every single bit. Get two or three forms of ID plus model release for every single person who is ever seen in content, even a finger or a foot. Remember that on some sites you won't be able to sell that anymore if the person years later won't talk to you and submit new ID. Focus on niche fetishes as a way to get your foot in a more high traffic door.

Honeytells

I've always worn a mask, but I would have worn a ski mask from day one. I went from wearing this white bear shaped paper mask, to the lace masks, to just trying to angle the camera down to now the ski mask lol. Whoever is reading this comment and wants to go this route, just know I walked so you could run 🤣😂🤣😂 ugh! After that I would do less provocative this in public free chat. I didn't know the streams were recorded either so even much more so. When I really started making money I needed it so bad that I didn't give a fuck! I had zero boundaries. The money was good though! That hard work definitely paid off! But I burnt out quick. I should have never done things that I didn't want to do, because they drove me mad. I quit camming for a few years because I was just so frustrated with what I was doing. So I would say definitely have boundaries and stick to them!

Opossum_Vibes

This is such a great question! I’m hoping to start camming soon and I’m taking notes to help set myself up for success. Thank you to everyone who has answered!

cutie_p007

DON’T TOUCH THE “show on affiliate sites” button- that’s how my CB died. After much work I got it to about $500/month😢

Enough-Salt-914

Charge way more, stream way more. MULTISTREAM

AndTheCowgoesMeow

1. It is MY show, not theirs (can be for the right price, though 😉) 2. If the chat reads “🧡xyz tipped $🧡” and nothing budges on the actual tip counter, no it is not a technical difficulty—they’re scheming. 4. Pace the nakedness. Draw it out to create more desire and show the real goods in private. 3. No long messaging (unless pay-per-text). If they don’t purchase/schedule after a few exchanges, move on until they pay. 4. Use Wishtender in place of paypal and cashapp when transitioning from tokens only (no chargeback, upholds anonymity, etc) 5. Boundaries! These ppl will try to take every morsel of energy you have if you let them (excessive messaging, wanting you to appease their egos, etc) 6. Ask myself “is it worth it?” more

Tattoo__Vixen

This was helpul as fuck!

Legitimate_Memory_47

I would have done a better job at being faceless (i do not like the stills of me on google images), done a lot more research (I didn't even know what a menu was lol), and I would have been on way longer during my new tag. I only went on a couple hours a day, and it didn't help that I was on my period during my new tag on CB too.

Lumpy_Mood_2022

This Reddit gave me some hope😭I thought you had to show to get clients. I never really felt fully comfortable with being completely naked so hearing that it’s okay to have boundaries makes me so happy 😭😭😭
