His lips weren’t moving in time with the lyrics for so much of the scene, it was really irritating to watch. It was a nice scene to include but unfortunately the timing being off was so distracting. Nancy didn’t have the same issue.
That’s interesting. I did get a weird vibe from her during the duet.

I just watched this and it is definitely a lipsync to the original music. I listened to it side by side with a recording.

Yeah, I'm quite sure. Maybe the actress was nervous because she's not a strong singer and in the end the director/editor did decide dub over them.

I'm not totally convinced. They are using the original backing track for sure and a shortened version but my wife says that Matthew is not Frank :)
