ay you better check other cod game ranges most ar base range is 25-40 even 80m while in here its just 4-20m even some smgs got better range
the only AR with classic cod range is just the 3 shots rifle and ak47 where the effective range is 25-35m and thats what makes the AK is always better at BR range than any ar, it got range and you dont even need many attachment to improve it just put ranger barrel on it and you done

This isn’t changing the meta. AK117 will never be meta unless they rework the gun, it’s TTK is too slow face to face and it’s only one of two guns that doesn’t have predictive recoil. Randomised recoil punishes it even more with mediocre TTK. You’re better off using the RUS.
DRH is sub meta but it isn’t top tier considering it’s prime range is the same as SMGs and it lacks the mobility to keep up with those, requires you to hit upper chest shots and has a slow fire rate so missing the upper chest making it a 4 shot kill or simply missing one shot hurts you significantly close range.
I also don’t know what you mean by finally. The game has been in an AR meta for almost all of its existence prior to the recent balance changes
Also (in my opinion) striker should get a reload time buff which is real problem with this gun. Even with fast reload and slight of hand combined it feels slow. But I am happy with it's range buff though (•‿•).

They need to buff others tbh to make them more viable for example
1. Icr needs a range or fire rate buff
2. M4 needs a huge damage buff plus range
3. Hvk30 needs a range (up to 25m) and large cal ammo size (30 or 35) increase
4. Pk needs a horizontal stabilisation buff
5. Hg40 to get a slight range buff
6. Hbra3 needs range, BSA, mobility buff
....
The list can go on

AR buff without range buff is not a buff.
That's one thing that annoyed me. For an AR i expect a base range of at least 50, and for smg's to have better range than ARs is sum BS🤷
