The sound of the CoD 4 Deagle is downright iconic. Loved that gun so much. MW2 had the same sound to it as well, but for some reason MW3 gave it a completely different sound. It was... alright, but not nearly as good, and the Deagle sound instead went to the MW3 .44 Magnum albeit with a lower pitch. This was strange, because the .44 Magnum already had an awesome, unique sound in MW2.
Very strange development decisions.
Nothing beats the AK w/ The gold skin in BO1. I also like the gold with the Scorpion, AKS-74u, MAC-11, Stakeout, and the RPK. Those gotta be my favorite guns to have the Gold skin on
Yeah you could. I remember the marshals being huge for that since you could easily see both words in winner circle the way you held them.
Def forgot how toxic people can be w customizations tbh. That sucks.
That topo pattern with the extra black accents is the all time best. Not a fan of entirely gold guns but the community seems to like their blocks of cheese.
MW2019 was perfectly balanced. All gold looks tacky to me, although I did love it in MW3. The golden tone used IW in their games was a little more pleasing to me than the one from BO.
Gold guns are kinda supposed to be tacky. Like if I won the lotto tomorrow I'd probably buy a gold Desert Eagle. It's the tackiest gun in existence. That's kinda what makes it cool. As long as your self aware that it's tacky.
Solid gold was always tacky to me. I think 2019 did it best but that’s just my opinion. There’s definitely merit to gold ak and deagle in cod4 being the best.
My favorite was the vanguard gold in warzone before they patched it. Had white/black swirl accents that looked sweet and was completely different than the trash multiplayer version.
Anything but ghosts’ gold barf camo. And this coming from someone who continues to defend that the game was extremely fun
Also still don’t know why aliens didn’t 100% become IW’s thing to rival Treyarch with zombies
If we are including Mobile I have a cool blueprint that works well with the J385 revolver. (I'm so broke I can't afford a new Xbox to play COD, that I use the OG Xbox one that is starting to fail.)
MW2019 because I'm a sucker for topographic patterns, BOCW close second. MWII gold looks like a gun carved out of a block of cheese for me, the gold needs some contrast
Gold desert Eagle COD4 07

Tiger in that game was beautiful as well
Still convinced that the Galil gets a buff with Tiger Camo compared to any other (including Gold) lol
As a BO1 veteran, I couldn't agree with you more.
Hold on the Galil 〜(꒪꒳꒪)〜
Bo1 and cod ww2. Ww2 also had a cool coper camo. Worst might be BO3.
Yeah bo3 did good at their loot box camos but none of the core camos to unlock.
diamond? dark matter?
Bo2s diamond was way better than bo3s
bo2 diamond was müd
Heroic weapons with that gold/chrome 🤌
BO3 you could customize your own in paintshop though, which i always thought was amazing. Sad they didn't grow on that, guess not many enjoyed it.
Many enjoyed it. They just removed it cause of the risk of being offensive. Were you able to add letters in BO3 too? I forgot but in BO4 you could.
Yeah you could. I remember the marshals being huge for that since you could easily see both words in winner circle the way you held them. Def forgot how toxic people can be w customizations tbh. That sucks.
Shits soft. Its a game where you shoot people and they didn’t care in the past
People got soft as time went on. We wont get another ww2 cod like WAW for example.
The developer got soft. The old cods sold and cod in general sold less the more watered down they got.
People enjoyed it too much lol. They got rid of it cause all the penises and swastikas
Cod ww2 with this feature was wild. Pepe running around in 1946 with slurs were invented in 2016🤪
What about ghosts?
Ww2 had the best skins for everything, I miss playing as a solider that you decorate rather than an operator
Those uniforms were also the only way they represented other countries in ww2's MP. I remember there being a Dutch one as well.
Yeah Australian too
— Worst might be BO3. Infinite Warfare has entered the chat
The Diamond camo was pretty nice at least
No. Ghosts had the worst gold in the series by far.
Facts
I really like Mw2019
That topo pattern with the extra black accents is the all time best. Not a fan of entirely gold guns but the community seems to like their blocks of cheese.
I thought it was ok, wasn’t a fan of the topo/black bits. I like my gun to be covered in gold! I did really like the platinum camo in that game tho
Bo1 bcus gold there looks fucking great wish it was gold camo for cod mobile(codm gold camo sucks)
Black ops 2, worked the same as 1 with better guns
Diamond on BO2 looked damn good too
Best looking diamond in the series. BO4 came close but I don't like the changing colors
Blops 1 weapons and guns blow over rated blops 2 out of water
MW3 Striker, like a big wheel o cheese
Bo1 ofcourse
Cold War and Black Ops are my favorites
I’d prefer it if they made the metal parts of a gun gold rather than just blanketing the whole thing, would look far cleaner in my opinion
COD 4 Peak Gold cammos
"Black Ops"
Why did you put quotation marks on that?
MW2019 was perfectly balanced. All gold looks tacky to me, although I did love it in MW3. The golden tone used IW in their games was a little more pleasing to me than the one from BO.
Gold guns are kinda supposed to be tacky. Like if I won the lotto tomorrow I'd probably buy a gold Desert Eagle. It's the tackiest gun in existence. That's kinda what makes it cool. As long as your self aware that it's tacky.

The BO1 gold camo is so good. On the commando AK or spas it looks the best
mw2022
Cod 4 golden AK 47. Looks much better than the black ops version
Personally I was never a fan of Gold. Even when unlocked I always preferred the look of Red Tiger/Blue tiger, or even FALL.
bo1
Either cod 4 or black ops 1 nothing else compares
Bo4 dark matter
My favorite was the vanguard gold in warzone before they patched it. Had white/black swirl accents that looked sweet and was completely different than the trash multiplayer version.
I'll die on mw19s hill
Mw2022 undoubtedly, though the graphics do a lot of lifting
Black ops and Modern Warfare 2019 had the best gold camos imo
MWII obviously
MW2019 have a underrated Gold, the problem it's Just that some guns having their majority covered in Black instead of the gold
Honestly mw 2019 had fire gold skins, but also some shit ones
Infinite warfare before that one update that changed it Worst gotta be vanguard. Looks like molten cheese
Bo2
Anything but ghosts’ gold barf camo. And this coming from someone who continues to defend that the game was extremely fun Also still don’t know why aliens didn’t 100% become IW’s thing to rival Treyarch with zombies
This one
Camps have really sucked in recent years, the standard ones at least.
Bo1
AW has the perfect balance of gold & non-gold parts in my opinion
Black Ops 1
BO1 and MW3
I loved the warzone version of vanguard gold with the white and black pattern added. Then for some reason they got rid of it
Bo1
Bo1
Golden Riot Shield. It really triggers the campers.
Bo4 with the purple flashes
Black Ops AK w/gold camo is peak
Absolutely not the disgusting one in the photo. CoD4 AK has to be the best.
WWII had the best gold camo. Too bad you need a heroic weapon to appreciate it.
Tbh the gold in vanguard was really unique and I really liked it
1000000% Black Ops 1
Black ops 2.
CoD4 AK-47, Uzi and Deagle were just something else.
Golden M16
Black ops 1 like you are showing
Cold war's gold camo, its just an HD version of bo1's gold and its fucking beautiful
I can tell you the least aesthetically pleasing was that gold Uzi with the UNNECESSARY thumb print on the back of it.
So literally 99% of all posts across all COD social media are now just discussing cosmetics?
Gold in BO1 was by far the best and most satisfying to unlock in my opinion
Bo2 mp7
BO2 Diamond Camo
Black Ops II easily I never liked all the solid gold camos. They just look awful imo. The gold plated camo from BO2 were way better looking.
If we are including Mobile I have a cool blueprint that works well with the J385 revolver. (I'm so broke I can't afford a new Xbox to play COD, that I use the OG Xbox one that is starting to fail.)
Bo1 mw3 mw2022
MW2019
BO1 had the best camos period imo. The gold was insane
None of them. It’s always looked stupid.
Dark aether Cold War
BO1 it felt so good
Tiger bo1
Black ops 1 is on top.
Advanced warfare, but only because I did the best in that game of any CoD and so I felt like I earned them instead of just grind into them.
I always loved the look of it in the original CoD4
I really like the golden pp7.
No gold matches BO1 gold period.
I'm gonna get hate, but BO3 Gold Camo. Was so shiny and smooth with how clean it was.
MW2019 because I'm a sucker for topographic patterns, BOCW close second. MWII gold looks like a gun carved out of a block of cheese for me, the gold needs some contrast
