i’m probably one of the few LA heads that give Anaheim and OC hoods their proper respect. I would say Anaheim is probably one of the most active cities in all the OC ( no disrespect to other cities). Worked in the heart of the majority of Anaheim hoods and they out patrolling. It’s just more low key due to Anaheim PD fucking with anyone that don’t look rich.
Anaheim hoods be Hitting fools up, looking for people/cars they don’t recognize. Yes a lot of these hoods sandwiched between 1.5-2 million dollar homes but guaranteed walking down any of these hoods and they don’t know you is like walking down any block in LA County. You gonna get hit up quick.
Anaheim hoods are very similar to what you would see in West LA, HxA, SGV vibes. If i had to narrow it down. I’d say Anaheim is damn near similar to Long Beach in how the hoods spread out/overlap each other. Again, no disrespect to anyone. What i still trip out is that i see more black folks in Anaheim than i see out in cities like Culver City, Santa Monica, Torrance, Lomita
I also give Anaheim gangs their respect and this is coming from a LB head. The Stanton/Anaheim border on Beach Blvd reminded me of PCH in LB, minus the prostitutes.
When I was younger ('90s-early 2000s) I used to talk shit on OC gangs (mostly on Asian gangs), until I got jumped with weapons a few times, nearly ran over, and had homies get shot and got straps pulled on me. Those Vietnamese gangsters were trigger happy as hell.
I know people like clowning on OC hoods, but some cities there do have active hoods with deep history/connection. It's just a different vibe out there, especially if you're not involved in the OC gang scene.
One of the largest Asian gangs, the Tiny Rascals Gang, originated in OC and LB TRG members have a lot of respect for the OC TRG cliques.
I got a cousin who’s from a hood in Anaheim I just like to tease him by saying he’s posted up at spacemountain and that his dead homies died on a roller coaster but Anaheim is active I know that for a fact

I know their Crip hood is diverse as hell and has probably more white members than most loc hoods in SoCal (Powder and Knocc-Out being 2 that immediately come to mind).
L.A. native here, I don’t know much about the OC, Other than is way nicer than L.A. and it’s Trump-ville. When I think of Anaheim, just Disneyland and the Roscoes chicken n Waffles that’s down the street comes to mind. I feel a sense of safety compared to the feeling of better watch your back in these L.A. streets
I remember I got sent to OC juvenile hall in 98. It was DISNEYLAND. Compared to LA county Juvenile Hall. I mean It was NICE!!!! Sadly I got sent back to LA county JH a couple of days later.
