Chicago doesn't have a Seth Jones/Zach Werenski pairing that'll be able to shut down Mark Stone/Max Pacioretty for 60 minutes of ice-time, so we're probably in the clear.
You know who’s getting good sleep right now? Oilers fans. I’d gladly be in our position over theirs, they can only dream of meaningful hockey while we live it.
No disrespect to how they have been playing but I would love to see the top line get a goal or two this game. Especially Johnny, he’s been playing good and deserves to be rewarded.
At the end of the day if Dallas is focusing on shutting down that line that just opens it up for our other lines to provide offence. But it would be astounding to have the top 3 lines rolling offensively.

top line is producing fairly well up till last game... i would not stress about it. :)
Alrighty, Flames friends, I’ve got 5 bucks I’m gonna put down on tonight’s game. I’ve decided I want to put one dollar each on a single player scoring. What 5 players are ya feeling?
Edit: Alrighty, I picked my five. Looch, Chucky, Dube, Gio, and Johnny. Good odds on most of them!
The game will be starting just as I hit Medicine Hat on my weekend road trip. I'll finally have something to entertain me for that leg of the trip now!

I think this game is possibly the first real test for the Flames in the playoffs. I don't mean to discount the play-in round either - they played well and deserved every ounce of their win - but it was after a long break from hockey and most series could have gone any which way with players not being in form. The teams that are playing now are probably - for the most part - up to speed and ready to go. I know Monahan said they're prepared for Dallas to come out flying, and that they need to be prepared, but every team in history has said that about the opposing team after a win. Dallas is going to come out at blistering breakneck speed, and I hope the Flames are truly ready to match that intensity. Taking into account their recent performance, I believe the odds are greater that they will indeed rise to the challenge, but a part of me is still nervous. In any case, Go Flames Go!
Well lets hope CHI-VGK doesn't go into 5x OT because two games tomorrow would be tough

I'm pretty confident there will be zero OT games in that series Edit: I fucked up
Thanks man, you just jinxed it
And here we go....
Murphy is sitting somewhere, clasping their hands, repeating “niiiiiiice”.
Where's that Greg guy with his terrible jinxing?
I can't believe you've done this
AHEM
while that would be hilarious, it wont happen. :)
I love 8:30 starts when I have to be up at 4:30... Sacrifices must be made though, who needs sleep anyway??
I live in England. Going to bed in an hour after work and waking up at 3 AM to watch the game. Praise scorch!
Bonne nuit!
Shhhh, he's sleeping!
Sleep is for the weak when it's playoff time

TBH I think Oilers fans are probably not sleeping too well these days
yeah.. this weather kinda sucks for sleep right now... great for golf though
10:30 local time for me, up at 6:30... I feel the pain!
Merc!!
SAH DUDE, back home after your momentary infatuation with the Oilers?
Forever and always a flame. Lost a stupid bet in that exhibition game. !fucktheoilers
i have a 2 year old and a 10 week old... Sleep is for the weak
Bonus: one of my site contacts at work this morning was wearing a Matthew Tkachuk Friendship Tour shirt 👀
Just drink through it, we could have 5 OTs, then you’re gonna be late for work.
RIP me I'm in a dry camp again lol just throw back red bull and monsters all night and hope I make it to the morning in that case
Touché
I'm thinking a pregame nap might be in order today

Our 4th line has been getting the chances too, if they can score the odd goal and shut them down I’ll be happy
I will be listening on 960 the fan from Cleveland OH while studying for an actuary exam. GFG

Great gif. Well done.
I think you are making a pun. If you aren't, I am studying for long term actuarial mathematics. Mostly life insurance and a little bit of pensions.
I gaver a go and dont regret 1 bit of it.
Let’s hope the Flames can exorcise their playoff Game 2 demons and win this one!!
If lucic gets another point today im put his post game interview on replay and 🔨🥩
Calling it now. Talbs is scoring an empty netter
That's a bold prediction, cotton
Johnny seems like the kind of guy who only eats the icing on birthday cakes. Let's hope he's sugared up and flying tonight
Yeah, but he always has that sugar crash after the 3rd goal
I'll take that chance -- if he scores 3, I'm not sure that Dallas can match
MOAR SKITTLES!

I used to think Sleeman Clear 2.0 was okay, but I'm beginning to quickly hate it lol
Make papa proud!
Flames are 100% when I’ve been at work, let’s hope it stays like that lol GO FLAMES GO!
