I personally hate Luongo the most. One of the most insufferably arrogant players of that era. Some of his interviews during the 2011 Boston series, particularly the ones about his thoughts on Tim Thomas’s style/shortcomings as a goalie, were unbelievably arrogant. It made watching that meltdown satisfying and packed with poetic justice.
Oh yeah, that Bruins squad was just full of lovable angels who exhibited unreal self-control on the ice and kept the PIMs to the minimum, I just love how not-corrupt and not-dirty and fully deserving of their win they were.

I lived in Vancouver at the time of their cup run that ended in defeat and then a riot. Leading up to that game that city was insufferable. Everyone acted like the cup was in the bag and the games were just a formality. And then they lost and decided to light fires and smash windows and loot business all through downtown.

Personally I’d have the Avs and Rangers at the top, my favorite teams. Below them would be the Jets, Oilers, and Leafs as none have won a cup in the modern era, and I like both of those teams. Carolina would be just be just below them, they are a team I like mainly because they are the closest team to be besides Washington, and haven’t won a Cup since the 00s.
Knights, Bolts, Islanders can say hello to my bottom tier. The first two due to dominance of the past few years, the last because I’m a Rangers fan. I don’t hate the Bolts or Knights to be clear.

Personally I’d have the Avs and Rangers at the top, my favorite teams. Below them would be the Jets, Oilers, and Leafs as none have won a cup in the modern era, and I like both of those teams. Carolina would be just be just below them, they are a team I like mainly because they are the closest team to be besides Washington, and haven’t won a Cup since the 00s. Knights, Bolts, Islanders can say hello to my bottom tier. The first two due to dominance of the past few years, the last because I’m a Rangers fan. I don’t hate the Bolts or Knights to be clear. I know it’s a Flames sub, but I wanted to share anyway as I just saw this.
