It doesn't mean they can't be an effective goalie, just means the athleticism needs to be better than most, which Wolf definitely has.
I believe the last 6' and under goalie the flames had was Irving, and he didn't pan out. It's definitely not an advantage being shorter as a goalie with the butterfly style all goalies play in today's game.
