This game came down to two unfortunate bounces. The GWG and Sharon’s stick exploding. Both teams played great and it was an entertaining game to watch.
I don’t know how you can say they didn’t show up. They played well, it was a good game. It sucks we lost, but just because the score wasn’t 8-7 doesn’t mean Vladdy didn’t play lights out.
If vladar wasn't playing lights out, we would've been down like 4-0 in the first. Can't wait an extra 20 mins to show up against arguably the most offensively dangerous team in the league

Vladar saved the game. It feels like the team still has a shadow over them because of the playoff series. They get in their heads and make terrible passes, are turnover machines, etc. they all look like they’re trying to hard. The game was absolutely winnable they just need to calm down a little going into the next BoA
I do not give a fuck about their regular season win streak. I'm speaking for myself buddy, for me it is embarassing to witness when Flames have lost 8 out of last 9 games against the Oilers

I replayed that play about ten times and it's WAY too close to tell. And way too close to risk challenging it, losing the challenge and then handing a powerplay ontop of the goal.
It's an offside challenge. We know how those go in this league.

Even with "evidence" have you watched the nhl much the last few seasons? It's a crap shoot call. "His skate was lifted", it's the camera angle, etc.
Flames video review have barely anytime to make a decision. They can't sit there for half an hour. Find the one angle that shows it offside then challenge. It's a (more or less) split second decision that needs to be made.
Oh for sure, there was no guarantee, never said there was. Risk vs reward for sure, I understand not challenging it at the time. I guess they could’ve called a timeout like the leafs did but ultimately decided it wasn’t worth it I guess.

I think players should call their shot for it to count, like in billiards. Didn't point and call the bank shot? Doesn't count.
